Awe man. I needed to hear this. I felt like straight tugged in my spirit when hearing this.
I was dealing with same sex attraction ever since I was small & its a testimony that I need stated @ it’s given time.
But man I truly identified, with being bi/gay. I had relations with 50+ people @ the age of 19. Earlier in the weeks, I was in the ER after I could no longer tolerate bowel pain after falling into sin, days earlier when I was meant to go to a missions trip.
And God’s so loving & compassionate to not let me go to that trip so when I go I can truly save souls, not suffer the pain I was going through if I were going to go. And that same thing our brother brought up, is the world tells us to experience if you like it, and I did it by trial & error.
Until I ended up liking it but I was diagnosed with Herpes & Syphillis but even in that ER before church because I had to play that same day.
I thank God for being there with me & God let’s us suffer our own consequences, God is not mocked.
Pray for my soul, my being because even after being treated, its habits in me that pleasure feels good that I keep doing it , when I what makes me feel whole & clean is living in the spirit with God :)

Yesss Jesus!! Before I came to Christ I struggled with homosexuality, transgenderism, and witchcraft. But my mother was steady and firm in Christ and at the time I had no idea how right she was. She would tell us about Sodom and Gomorrah and how homosexuality is an evil demonic thing. I used to think she was cruel and homophobic and how dare she not love her kid for who they (very mistakenly thought they) were. But oh God is good. My mother’s faith is what led me back to Christ Jesus. How right she was! My eyes have been opened to the rampant evil the enemy is trying to pollute our children with. There is no compromise for a Christian. You can’t be gay and a Christian, trust me, I thought you could. All glory be to God Most High. Jesus loves you all and wants to deliver you. Hi Carew. I almost never comment on TH-cam channels, but felt it placed on my heart to encourage you & Rashad on the Kingdom work you are a part of. My best friend is a gay man, and is *SOOO* close to a relationship with Jesus. I love him dearly, as close as I would a brother, and we often talk about God, Jesus, and our belief systems. My best friend displays a love (service) that is generous and giving to so many, and he is sensitive to others and works doubly hard to make someone feel “seen”. Without having a personal relationship with Jesus he is about as close as it gets!!! I pray my best friend will have a supernatural encounter with our Lord that will radically change his vision so he can see the plan our God has on his life: to have a relationship with him. I pray over you and Rashad to continue your work and reflect how God redeems our brokenness, trading ashes for beauty, because it gives so many people the chance to hope… which I consider to be key to our individual walks with Jesus in addition to faith. Bless you. Olivia

It is the kindness of God that leads us to repentance. We must preach repentance - in 2008, I was a gay-identified man, in a committed, monogamous same-sex relationship, active in an affirming church, then found myself in an ICU where the medical team classified me clinically dead after a 22-minute flatline. I experienced death, judgement and hell. When I couldn’t take any more demonic torment, I cried out in repentance, “Jesus!” and I heard the Savior say, “I am here.” At that moment, I saw with my eyes the Wind of the Holy Spirit fill my ICU and with great power, He pick up Satan and the demonic and blew them out of the room. On that day, my life changed, the redemptive Blood of Jesus cleared my mind, and completely healed and restored every failing organ. Glory to God!

Homosexuality is a healthy natural sexual orientation with an evolutionary meaning.
If it was caused by psychological influences, it could be changed to heterosexual in a therapy, but it cant.
Thats what we know for sure.
So its innate. Why did it come up in evolution?
There is a permanent share of 90-96% heterosexuals and 4-10% share of homosexuals in all living beings with sexuality since 385 million years. The reason is the evolutionary advance through several factors, for example: Same-sex sexuality evolved by natural selection because it created or strengthened male-male alliances and female-female alliances and mutual social benefit to all the animals in the tribe, better survive better defense, better social interaction.
There are interesting studies about it.
I wish for you that you find a loving same-sex partner, marry and maybne raise kids in responsibility.

Nothing "sets you free" from homosexuality. If you're gay, you cannot get rid of that. Now, if you mean to say that you are choosing to live a life of celibacy, or that you are in a relationship with a woman despite not being sexually attracted to them, that's fine, but it doesn't change the fact that you're still gay.

I am curious, when you were set free from homosexuality, does this mean you:
      1) no longer feel any same-sex attractions (e.g. exclusively heterosexual) OR
      2) still experience same-sex attractions, but choose not to identify with or pursue them

    • @aidanmichael
      @aidanmichael 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@DanSmith01ave thanks for your question. To begin, I think it’s important that to note that “heterosexuality” is not a fruit of the spirit, but self-control is. To directly answer honestly, I would say, yes, my attractions have changed. That’s not to say I don’t experience temptations in that area because it’s where I’ve been set free so the enemy tries to get my mind back in that way at times. By the power of the Spirit I am able to redirect my thoughts if I am ever tempted with same-sex fantasies. Deeper in to your question, personally I was always attracted to women as well as men, but pursued men exclusively for a period of my life because the attraction was stronger. I had no desire to engage in any form of heterosexual relationship or romance. After being set free through prayer and fasting, God 100% redirected my vision. My desire to date men was gone, the desire to pursue them sexually, all of that, was taken away, because I prayed for God to help me in that area, and I was willing to give it up and walk in obedience no matter the cost. It takes a level of true love for Him to be able to overcome this sin of same-sex lifestyle/attraction, because it becomes rooted in your “identity.” I would say it’s a combination of both because it’s not a black and white issue, if that makes sense, given the information I’ve shared. It’s not so much that God “made me straight,” but rather gave me a much stronger desire for holiness, a heterosexual marriage if that’s what He wills for me, and the fruit of self-control in the face of same-sex temptation if that ever does comes up. And I will say it’s not difficult nor impossible, and I don’t consider it to be suppressing anything, rather yielding to His will instead of the old flesh patterns I engaged with for so long. I hope that answers your question. God bless. 😇🫶🏼

Hey! God does love all of us, but there should be a clear distinction on whether you have made sexuality your identity… when we introduce ourselves we dont say hi “I am a heterosexual, or I am gay” if we make sexuality our identity, then everything around it, problems, relationships revolve around the fact that you think or somebody else thinks that sexuality is their identity when in reality, all of us are more than our sexuality. Hope it makes sense, we shouldnt use Gods love in any way to justify our sinful nature, and that goes for us all. Have a blessed day. Not in any way should I be the one to convince you of anything, I leave it in Gods hands. I just felt the need to tell you this.

Love is love regardless of whom it is, I feel that you can be a Christian and be gay. I'm really Suprised people are bringing down people who are gay. Like they belive in God, they belive in his teaching, they just love some one of the same sex. If live your life and just be real about things and give him all the glory respect that he gave his only sin, to be tortured ridiculed and killed just for his beliefs So here in this podcast you both basically state the because you are gay you can't be a Christian. You can be saved as a homosexual, you may never find attraction in the opposite sex as long as you live but it’s the homosexual lifestyle that you need to repent from. And remember repentance is not an apology or confession to God, it’s a change of mind and heart. So be careful how you word things because it’s not true that you cannot be gay and go to heaven. If you are gay you have to die to self as our flesh is corrupt, but guess what, God knows all of our struggles and His death was an atonement for our sins.

They doth protest too much, methinks
It seems to me like you are both bisexual (or gay) but choosing to not act on the male attraction part of your sexuality. And you’re using religion to justify why you need to downplay that part of yourself. Which is fine it’s your life. But you speak as if “being homosexual” is itself a sin, but sin implies choice. Sexuality isn’t a choice… ask any straight man if he chooses to be attracted only to women and he will say it’s who he is. Same for bisexual/gay. Sure, you can choose to not act on feelings you have towards the same sex, but you can’t choose whether you have those feelings in the first place. If you accept this then being gay isn’t a sin, maybe having gay sex is, but being same sex attracted isn’t. It seems like the most enlightened position for someone to be in, in this case, is to admit openly that they are bisexual/gay while at the same time admit they refrain from acting on those feelings. It’s enlightened because you are choosing against a sinful action despite wanting to do the action. And if you lie and pretend like you don’t have those feelings in the first place, isn’t that itself a sin?

This podcast is so powerful. So many good points and so much wisdom. GLORY TO GOD 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I had a porn addiction as well and I was delivered and set free from the evil spirits of porn by Jesus Christ AMEN.
Our ears and eyes are portals so when you said something about allowing our eyes to see darkness and comes into our bodies, that gave me chills because it’s true. Jesus is the way and the truth and the life and he is my lord and savior. This walk with Christ is not easy but I see the good works he is doing with my heart, he is performing miracles daily and placing my heart in the right place.
My family brought a question to my attention and I don’t know how to answer this one yet. They said: if god is all love then how is being gay a sin?
I’m curious what your thoughts are on that question?

our generation is going to bring a lot of people back home. i was thinking i could be a lesbian while having Christian values. knowing i wanted all of it & not being lukewarm Christian.
too many sad people projecting in the comments we have to pray for them

whew thank You JESUS! 🩷 the ending is so true; the happy ending isn't the marriage or children it's JESUS! even if i lived the most perfect life, without Jesus Christ, my destination would still be hellfire for eternity. 1 Corinthians 15:17 "And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins!" it is the power of Jesus' resurrection where He defeated sin, death, hell and the grave, where we can overcome sin and have eternal life praise God 🙏🏽⭐

Our salvation comes through Gods grace, we cannot earn our way to heaven through any works at all.God is all powerful, if you believe with your heart soul and mind that God raised Jesus from the dead and know that he truly took the punishment for our sins to save us from eternal damnation, you're saved☦️.
We are born imperfect so we cant live perfect lives as Jesus and we are born in sinful nature no matter the sin but God still loves us. Keep talking to God , reading the word and praying. Dont give up on your relationship with God he loves you, Jesus is not against you but for you and he just wants you to come back to him xx

here’s how i see it, God gave us free WILL. we are not born gay, we are born sinful. God gave us free will to either follow Him (and His Word) or follow the world (and worldly desires). I also believe you can’t claim to be Christian and go against everything the Word of God says.

    • @milas8632
      @milas8632 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

also like they said “God will never give you a purpose against his will and his word” therefore your not born gay, it’s a choice. in fact literally every thing is a choice, we can either choose God or the world

Romans 1:18-24 "For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things. Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator"

Being attracted to a person of your own sex is not your choice. Howbeit I do not believe that a person should truly celebrate any kind of pride on account of himself. Regardless of where you are coming from, pride is sin.
