Oh my goodness! Joan, when you starting talking about raging issues in your family I felt like you were telling my story. I'm now in my later 70s and just figured out why I've struggled so much with food & emotions. I'm going to binge on your videos now - switch my addictions to you, perhaps! You are so right about even the medical community being corrupted or affected by this. It makes me want everyone to launch a class action lawsuit against big tobacco & our government agencies that have been involved in this corruption. Do you know of such a lawsuit I can get in on?

Now that made a lot of sense! Thank you! This is what Marianne Williamson is fighting to stop in her bid for president

Wow! What an informative episode. I knew pieces to these stories…of how our food chain has been corrupted to addict us to foods for increased profits but I didn’t know it was so intentional and tied to the tobacco industry. That they made a cigarette a juice box package to look the same made my heart ache. Matt - you summed up the consequences real-well, thank you. Thank you to both of you for expanding our knowledge to make better (more healthy) decisions. Love ~

Wow when she talked about herself and the raging and the ways she struggled 😭 I’m struggling with these things as well. I’ve known for quiet a while food was addictive and played a role in mood and emotional control but it has been so hard to stay consistent with food.

Sadly so many can relate to the rage from the addictions she spoke of. We are happy to hear that you could find a safe place with this interview. Be sure to check out Dr. Ifland's resources and community!

She speaks from the heart and with her head, having the courage to tell her own story. I have been lucky that I had the time and interest to start to modify my own eating habits about ten years ago. I learned to cut sugar, dairy, wheat, and corn, and it works for me too.

I knew all of those agencies only cared for the businesses/industries. I don’t buy processed foods bec it’s the only way to hit back.

Really really appreciate this woman! History of industry & govt creating illness=addictions. It’s stunned me how I used to be able to seek savoury instead; but now at 70 one ice cream or cake means the entire things is gone without any hesitation. Even knowing I risk gut pain & AS returning! Thx for the tips!

WonderFULL! Processed foods addictions transferred from drug and alcohol addiction!? Wow, is that ever true. I have been to meetings where the recovering ones are smoking away and eating candy during the breaks!

BRIGHT LINE EATING address this issue of food addiction being REAL with great results - it is my way of life now - breaking the addiction can be a beast - but, it can be done 👏🏼👏🏼
