After being married twice, I have lived solo for the past 3 years and I still feel the ingrained societal judgement that if I’m alone there must be something wrong with me. Weirdly, though, it wasn’t until I made a space for myself that I realized my true worth.

Hi Nami! That specific four seconds of train ride back from Odaiba (around 6:30) was gut-wrenching for me. I travelled alone to Japan three years ago (seems like an eternity...) and I recognized that specific moment of the rainbow-colored building passing by. That solo trip is one of my fondest memories.
It's such a silly thing, but knowing that Japan is closed to tourism now and doesn't seem to intend to open up again, and seeing such a vivid memory shared by a person living on the other side of the world...it was hard. I hope I have the occasion to travel again to your country one day.
