@@thesillyhatday Lucky guy - have fun! And please put another video up. I'm in press of getting another car as my Alfa is likely to be written off after someone drove into me last week. Honda fn2 is top of my list.
@@thesillyhatday last year was definitely a bust! Yep, I got an FN2. 59 plate, and previous owner already fitted Yellowspeed Racing BBK and coilovers, and I've since switched to lightweight 17 inch wheels instead of the heavy 18 inch lumps. Really pleased with it, and I think with the sensible mods that have been done it should be pretty decent on track.
@@PedroskiClimb They aren't bad on track, you just feel the weight and fight understeer. I'd like to try 17 inch wheels, mine came with 19s, awful. The brake kit is a must. I'm tiered of constantly cooking brakes on track days. I even cracked a disc on one really hard day. Right from the outer edge to the centre!
Hey, not sure why I missed this comment. I think at the time for modifications I had: Rota GR6 Wheels Michelin Pilot Sport 4 Tyres Project Mu HC800+ Pads Brambo Drilled Slotted Discs Tegiwa Catback Exhaust HEL Braided Brake Lines Meister R Coilovers -2.1 Front Camber Front Anti Roll Bar Polybush Whiteline Rear Anti Roll Bar Stripped Rear Seats K Tuned Shifter Bushes Skunk2 Weighted Gear Knob
@@thesillyhatday It's cool man, that's an awesome list of mods. the only mods i have are the skunk2 shifter and an ecutek remap haha. does the job for me as its only a daily.
@@thesillyhatday oh do you still have it? I thought you didn't from the comment. Surprised you don't have a tune, I bought the marlin ecutek map off tdi North. Awesome upgrade, definately what these cars need, gives you some usuable mid range and a higher rpm limiter, also some goodies like advanced traction control and flat foot shifting.
I love a wet track. Great driving!
Much appreciated, thanks. Back there at end of March again
