For a gaming headset without a dedicated mic out, it may be bizarre. But the mic test without any features turned on already sounded quite good and even better than those with dedicated mics. Earcups are also replaceable but not the headband which is flooded with PU leather that will definitely flake overtime in ASEAN countries. Overall probably considerable purchase.

I would have enjoyed to see some gameplay with gunfights and following steps to see how good the sound accuracy is

What background noises are still coming through on discord that your friends are talking about? Even with the settings on. It clearly blocked out the tv and keyboard clicking noise in your tests.
Can you use this headset wired, or can you use it while its charging ?

noise cancellation is pretty hardcore !
After watching some additional reviews & after all decided to buy it anyway with a return possibility. I was disappointed at 1st, the sound was average & I could not change it in the settings. Until I discovered that I have not installed the armory crate drivers for it correctly & that fixed everything. The mic is good enough for me, but the sound is still of a lower quality than what I would expect at that price. Overall, I would give it an 8/10. It's a bit overpriced for what you get in my opinion, the battery is great though! 1 week playtime without a recharge!

Get the Skullcandy crusher evos instead. You can adjust the massive bass it has, you’ll thank me when you’re playing a war game with explosions and stuff everywhere
It must be TH-cam's audio compression at work but I'm not hearing any difference at all in your various tests from 6:42 onwards. Asus Armoury crate is a big no for me as it causes CPU usage problems for my PC.

The noise cancellation completely eliminated the keyboard sound.
Yeah it did ok with keyboard sounds, but not so great with background noise from the TV. When I used it on Discord during testing I couldn't stop voice activation picking up background noise.
Ugh, I tend to avoid installing software of most peripherals or just choose the brand/model that does not have software. It gets worse every year.
Kinda hard to hear the noise cancellation when he keeps talking non stop.

That armoury crate software and the fact that a fair bit of time is needed to tweak them to get to where you want them to sound just puts me off, not paying that kind of money for that kind of experience
Ok, either I am deaf but the voice came through clear and when you put noise cancelation on even at mid the sound of the keyboard was almost gone, then on high it was gone, in fact I had to turn the volume right up and even then it seemed to do very well... Not my type of headphone and a bit pricey but the mic sounded okay and noise cancellation certainly did work as far as listening through You Tube...
As to armoury crate, I too have a Z690 Asus motherboard and I had to remove armoury crate as it just was so buggy!
it was certainly OK with the keyboard, but made basically no difference with the TV on in the background
@@KitGuruTech well, the TV basically produced voice so the AI would not filter it because its should be trained to filter out things that are not voice, right?

Hi @KitGuruTech I've used 2.4 since I recevived the headset back in March. Yesterday the headset stopped working and now it only says PC MODE when I start it and then theres no sound at all.
I tryed using BT which works. But then Armory Crate wont find my headset, and everything sounds as if i'm in a box. Cant find any kinds of information. THe error code I get is 4181.
Amazing a company the size of asus still can't make good software that doesnt cause issues and works.
Tbh every rgb software has bugs…
There are no many bug with Rog software on my side I got no problem
If you compare that with MSI you see the diffrenece

i have razer nari wireless is this update or down grade? because last time i bye bye asus back in 2020 it was so low sound that way i end up with razer nari wireless because I didn't even hear the sound of the game in the asus.. i whant pink hahahahahaha

Its not a bad product, but I have had so many issues with ASUS software in the past, its worse than Razers and thats saying something.

Hi I'm an rtx4090 with a PCI Express 4.0 through the GPU bus slot CPU I just wanted to say that this rog Delta series s headset is a piece of dog crap the sound sounds terrible scratchy unclear garbage overpriced crap the microphone doesn't even work and if it does no green indication on the meter of recording in Windows 11 shows up in the sound settings of Windows 11 the headset is 16 bit sound which is terrible and should not cost $300 in Canada for a 16-bit sound headset I am very disappointed I'm also the freaking King of the PC gaming food chain so if I am unhappy then I tell the truth other reviews have said that this headset is way too loud which is why I bought it because I'm a metalhead and no this headset is nowhere near as loud as a hyperx wired headset not even close not even in the same ballpark I consider loud holding my head next to an amp with Slayer being played through it live and this headset doesn't even come close to that experience as most wireless headsets have terrible loudness I take craps that have better sound than this terrible piece of garbage screw you rog the volume meter is the dumbest thing that I've ever seen were you accidentally mute your microphone trying to make your volume go up and down hopefully you got to dial on your keyboard like me
Armory crate is butt tier software
They sound pretty bad to me, typical ASUS. Stuff looks pretty if a tad ghetto but its all style and no substance or quality.
