First video for me, looking forward to seeing more of it

Nice😊
Thanks!!! More videos coming real soon!!
First timer to see what ya got goin with a Crown Vic. Impressed with your confidence and BALLSY, can- do attitude! I guess I never wanted anything THAT bad! Keep it up. I’m cheering for ya.
Ha ha thanks for the support!!!! Glad to have ya watching the build!!! Hoping to have another video edited soon for the F100 build.
I’m a new viewer looking forward to seeing what you do with this truck. I built my shop truck 1957 Chevy on a camaro chassis rust and cleared
Yooo!!! Stoked to have ya checking out the videos!! Hoping to do first start up soon!!
New viewer looking good
Yoooo!!!Stoked to have ya watching the build!! Stay in touch! Thanks for taking the time to comment!!!
At first I thought you was nuts but now I think you give cheap old cop cars new life these are the coolest videos thanks
Glad ya enjoyed the videos!! More videos coming soon on this build 😃
Stoked to see both builds coming along!
Heck yeah!!!! Thanks Zach!!
Wow, that brings back memories, watching you cut up that Crown Vic. I once salvaged the running gear and suspension from a Jaguar XJ12 and cut up the remainder of the body much like you did! Cutting apart a car isn't as simple as it seems! I remember a similar pile of leftover mess as you had at 15:45!
Yeah its tricky buisness 😂. I just posted the next part in the build videos this last Sunday if you wanna check it out.
Brother you’re making me wish I could get a custom shop-ish truck. My 2006 grand caravan has almost 200K miles on it and it’s rusting to pieces. We had ad an 04’ Durango AWD that blew up the day my father in law died. This was my wife’s van, I need me a V8 to pull my trailer that I use to haul my wheelchair. Awesome looking shop truck, I can see your vision from the test fit and hearing you talk about it. Can’t wait for the finished product.
Thanks for the support and comment!!! Im glad you can see the vision!!! Im excited to see it progress for sure!!!
Nice video. Very good editing, content flows nicely and the sound is perfect! I can never seem to get all three in our videos, but I keep trying haha!
We also have a '66 F100 to swap onto a Crown Victoria chassis, but we're using a 1st gen Panther car. Will be following your build!
Edit: I've gotta say that truck looks awfully familiar for some reason. It's like I know I've seen it around on Facebook marketplace or something, but I can't quite put my finger on exactly where I saw it.
Thanks for all the kind words!!! I appreciate them!! Good luck with your build as well 💪🏻💪🏻
Yeah boy! Excited to see the “F-140” come together
Thanks Stephen me too!!! Hope all is well 😃
Awsome build! This truck is why I started watching, and you never disappoint with your videos.
Thanks bud!! 😃 I been very busy with life so I havent posted much or been able to respond back to comments. I did post a update video today. Thanks for the support!!
One of my favourite f series generations right there, looks great.
Heck yeah!!
👍👍man is so exating to see that truck look lower 👍👍
Right!!! Im hoping the stance is gonna be awesome!! Thanks for all the support!!
Good Stuff!... Thanks for Sharing
Thanks for the commemt!!!
I love it want to do that my self you made it simple can't wait to see it come together 👍👍👍
Yoooo!! It is simple but at the same time not 😂 Glad your motivated!! I just posted a update video today!
I enjoyed watching your video making you a shop truck it should be awesome
Thanks!!!! Hope to have a video dropping soon if I can find some time to finish editing!!
Great cinematic footage out of that new camera Dusty👍 Clever mash up of the patina truck & Crown Vic. Lots of ‘hard graft’ as we’d say 🇬🇧 to make it happen. Plenty more to do though. Not sure you’d get a cheap donor over here big enough unless it was another commercial vehicle. I personally like pick ups to sit a little taller but I can see it will be good for towing and loading slammed like that. The next stage will be interesting!
Thanks Mark!!!! Glad ya enjoyed the cinematic shots!!!! And yes the next stage will defintely be interesting for sure 😃 thanks for the feedback and support!! Lots of work to be done lol
Loved the video ❤️ can't wait to see all the stuff your gonna do to it. 🥰
Thanks Mom!!! Love ya
DMac! Like I said, that camera is sick man, those shots take time to set up and you really smashed it. A lot of content in this vid! Fair play to you man. Onwards and upwards. Looking forward to seeing the GT40 design elements. Keep on the grind man, keep the faith "set your goals high, and go get em"
Yooooo!!! This comment means alot coming from you bro!!! You guys are crushing it!! Stoked that you dig the new camera and your stoked for the GT40 design elements!!!! We shall keep grinding!!!! Thanks for the support!!!
@@DustyMacsGarage looking forward to you putting your touches onto it. And looking forward to you getting the Z rust repairs done! Your still far infront of me haha
That is no longer a classic car, try to sell it and at least no one will want to buy it from you. I wouldn't buy it from you for $2000.
Very Nice!
Thanks Ryan!!!
Nice work!
Thanks alot for the comment!!!!
WOW Dusty this was great. Gives guys some great ideas!!!! What part of the country are you located? Like your builds.
Yooooo!!! Thanks so much!! Im in Greenwood SC. Hope to have next video out soon on my F100 and my wifes 240z!!
Nice! I’ll be new for this portion of the comment. I look forward to your “wiring video” lol.
Have you seen the latest video I posted om my F100 build. I think its in the playlist? Talks about a few changes.
Excellent video! I can see you put in a lot of hours editing this👍👍 shop truck is gonna be sick but it sure is a tedious process! Keep it up!
Thanks bro!!! You know first hand how tedious this stuff is. Thanks again for the support bro!! Keep crushing it. And yeah took some time to edit for sure 😃
The safety glasses work better when not on top of your head 😂 nice build.
Facts bro!!!You reffering to the sparks shooting at my face and my ( dumb ways to die section) 😂
Haha you sound just like my shop supervisor.
Awesome video! Earned a new subscriber!!
Yoooo!!! Glad to have ya!!!! Hoping to have a new video posted soon!!! Stay in touch and thanks for the support!!
New viewer. Lov the body swaps
Yooo!!! Glad to have ya watching. New videos coming soon!!!
New sub from NC coast. Love the F100 project! Can’t wait to catch up on your channel.
Yoooo!! Stoked you love the F100 build. Other build is my wifes 240z. Cheers from SC!! We just passed through NC this weekend on the way to Kentucky lol
And its always great to gain another subscriber!!#
In the end, will the title still be a 2006 Crown Vic? This will be a cool shop truck.
Thanks!!! Im gonna title it as F100 but I would think you could do it either way depending on how strict your state is, and if they do inspection and such before registering.
Title usually follows the body, otherwise we wouldn’t be able to customize anything.
Tiger Nation!!!
Yessssss!!!!
You made that look easy! How far are you from Statesboro, Ga.?
Lol. It wasnt hard just tedious. Im roughly 3hrs away I believe
Hi, great build! I’m currently doing a 1966 as well I have a question. How much did you cut from the front and back to fit the front clip and the bed? I would really appreciate your expertise on this. Thank you and keep doing a great job, Love your channel!
Hey!!! Thanks for the support. I will try to cover how much I cut off the front and rearbin the next video so you can see it. Cool your doing a 66 also 😃
you forgot 1 little detail , clyde , "clyde strip the vic"
Help me understand this comment bro lol
Where do you find the time and energy?
You're a machine!
Love it!
Im not sure where I get the energy. As far as the time, A little bit here and there adds up I guess Joey lol thanks for the support bud!!!
Div, down in South Africa recommended your channel. I'm glad he did! I'm gonna go back and watch previous posts to catch up. I love the truck!
Yoooo!!! Glad you swung by the channel. Got a few videos on the F100 shop truck build and got 34+ videos on rebuilding my wifes 240z. Hoping to post next video on Z this weekend. Hope you enjoy the other videos!!! Stay in touch 😃
Thank you for all your hard work and effort you've put in this video ,it's inspired me to build my 59 f100 short bed, my question is this what was your wheelbase on yours? It's looks to be 110' shortbed aswell,
I've heard that it's recommended to have the long bed ,
What's can be done about this? Thanks
Hey!! Thanks for the comment and kind words! My truck was a factory short bed. Im not sure on exact wheel base but the fenders and tires and body lines all line up pretty nice so far. Ive seen several guys do the swap with short beds and the guys with long bed have the optiom to cut their down to desired length based on their preference. Glad you have a project of your own with your 59 short bed!! Stay in touch and thanks for the support!!!
@DustyMacsGarage
Awesome, yes I'm looking into doing this setup but I've seen them only doing long bed and shorten after due to the wheelbase
❤
💙 Love ya babe!!
Sell the quarters fenders dooors😅😅
I did to the scrap yard 😂 I would have parted it out but the amount of people who waste your time on stuff like that wasnt worth it 😂
New
Yoooo....New viewer?
New to this swap stuff. My biggest question is how do you title these builds? It’s all looking really cool by the way.
Thanks!!!! My plan is to just title the truck but I would assume you could title the chassis if you wanted.. It probally depends on how strict your state is as far as inspecting vin numbers and such...
So Which of the 2 vehicles gets registered with the dmv?
I will reigster thr F100 but I guess you could register whichever depending on how strict your state is as far as inspections and such 😃
When is the next video coming out?
Just posted the newest update video on the channel bro!!
@@DustyMacsGarage sweet. I’ll tune in shortly. Thank you
Just subscribed to ya channel to see this swap. I'm not really interested in those foreign jobs. Good job on this one tho.
Yooo!! I appreciate the support! Hope to have a video dropping soon, if I can find some time to finish editing!!
I’m new hear
Hi David!!! Glad to have ya here bud!! Any questions just ask!! Talk soon!!
Did you do any sort of PATS delete? and if so what? ecu or tune or?
Hey, are you asking about VATs delete? Like the vehicle anti theft protection? If so no I havent done anything with that. And as of now I havent messed with the factory ecu or tune. Right now Im about to start welding the cab to the Crown Vic firewall and getting body and stuff mounted.
@@DustyMacsGarage yes sir. I’ve got an 03 GM that has that security error bc someone had tried to wire in a remote start and computer freaked out. I’m looking to swap into a ‘65. What have you done for mounting cab? What additional cross members or mounts have you purchased to get from og crown Vic/gm frame to being able to mount on the f100 cab bed etc
@@ziggy760 I cut out the firewall and floorpan from my F100. Im gonna weld the crown vic firewall to the remaining firewall on my F100 cab and make the floor tie together so. The cars existing body mounts will still act as they normally would on the car. As far as the bed of the truck Im gonna make my own bracing and use the rear body mounts from the crown Vic to make my own mounts for the bed. The front clip/fenders will bolt onto F100 cab like normal and I will make 1 additional bracket for each side of the radiator support to tie into the front of the frame rails from the crown vic. All this will make more sense when I finish welding and mounting the cab and bed and edit the next video!! Thanks for watching and the comment!! Hope my reply helps. Im pretty sure that GM requires you to get someone to remove vats on computer or the engine will crank and then shut right back off.
I loved your videos. now im building a 66 as well. I made 2 episodes so far and wow. Its getting real. lol. It would be an honor if you check them out. Ive watched 1000's of videos on this swap. Should be fun...
I will try to check your channel out. Thanks for the support!!! More videos coming soon!!
Thank you.
if i would've done it i would've left the crown vic dash in it where it would have air conditioning
Yooo!! The plan is, for it to still have ac! I kept the ac control box and all the stuff behind dash is still intact. Will modify factory dash and build a lower panel to hide some of it, thats my plan anyway lol
That is no longer a classic car, try to sell it and at least no one will want to buy it from you. I wouldn't buy it from you for $2000.
😂 I dont care if anyone wants to buy it from me. Im building it for me thats all.
I’ll bet your wife pegs you
@galandiaz8018: What a stupid and negative comment.
It's actually worth more money than it was B4.
