so if this is a 4 part series about how to full planche, and this is the 3rd video about how to planche, what is the next video, how to fly or something?
@@joshuazambrano9692 That would be awsome because I just checked and as far as I can tell if your goin for a maltese the internet wont be helping us very much;)
Hi Osvaldo, i want to thank you for this incredible tutorial. I've been training planche for 8 months. I found a workout on THENX channel, but it wasn't for me. I didn't know you had channel, but when i found it i started following your tutorial. It was at the beginning of march. And today i was able to hold Full planche ! It was only 2 seconds, but I'm proud of myself. I'm now in the first step of this video. I can hold straddle for 5 second and one leg is at 4 seconds. Should i keep doing the first step or should I now master full planche ? I totally recomend your workout to anybody. Other videos that i saw were mess, and really hard. I'm not saying this one were easy, but not that hard. Sometimes i was feeling low, i couldn't hold it. Sometimes i was on reaaaaally good level. I though about giving up training it, but somehow i kept going. I'm glad I didn't give up. I had one problem. It was one sentence " Do it only with perfect form ", i'll change it to " Do it as perfect as you can ", this feel less depresing, because if you are learning it you can't do it like Osvaldo, but try to do it like him. This was slightly pushing me down. But i did it. Thanks again Osvaldo !
Torf Thanks for this comment, I haven't seen anyone comment their success stories yet, so this is very inspiring. I think you should continue to perfect straddle planche, and the full planche strength will come with it
@@ianthebubbian6182 welp, it's been a loooong time since I said this. So, now I'm still attempting full planche, with mixed results. What I mean by that ? Well, sometimes I have days when I can't hold a shit, no full, no straddle, no one leg. Sometimes I have average days, not that many tho. And just a few times I have really good days, which should be a normal days. I can hold Full planche in these good days around 3s and do that 4 times. My best times are : one leg - 13s, straddle - 8s, full - almost 5s. I had to change this routine a bit. 4 rounds doing this high intensity shit is near impossible for a begginer, I feel like the only one who can hold onto this routine for years is Osvaldo. After few weeks you'll feel weak. What I did is that I scratched 4 rounds and I try to do as many as I can, I even finish half into a 2nd round. That's how it is. And the first excercise - @ 4:00 I do completely a different way. First I do - Full planche max hold., then again and if I fail I'll switch to straddle, and do a drop set. so.. The first excercise looks like this : F. Planche.... can I hold another ? yes. do it. I fail halfway... spread my legs and go into straddle... can't hold it anymore... quickly switch to one leg without touching a ground... hold.... can't hold it anymore.. tucked... can't hold it.. and finish. After that I choose to hold straddle as long as I can and do the same drop thing. And now finally I do straddle to full like you see in the video, just no max. hold. And I continue like you see in the video.
@@torf_ Wow, what a quick reply. Did you follow Osvaldo's previous two tutorials for planche as well? How long did it take you to learn straddle? I completely agree, it's best to watch out for overtraining. Also, so you're practicing planche training like a drop set?
@@ianthebubbian6182 sort of, i could do tucked right from the begining. I just watched the end of the 1st video to master my tucked planche. I followed the whole 2nd video and this 3rd one. Yes, its sort of "drop set" i just call it like that. What i mean is that if i cant hold full i switch to straddle then to one leg, than to adv. tucked and then tucked. Just to have more time in the air and more preassure on shoulders. If you are starting out or you are here, just buy higher parallel bars, dont buy those shitty push up ones. They can ruind your day and life
Alright Guys. I just wanted to say that thanks to his workouts I really learned a full planche. If you believe in yourself and don't give up, you can do anything. Peace.
These 3 sets of planche videos are by far the best instructional videos I have ever used. Also finished mastering video1. Taken 3 weeks. Important - i video taped myself to check my form. Dam it’s amazing how fast you can get it with the correct instructions. Really big thanks. Please, please do a front lever tutorial. Thanks thanks
Right now I'm at the single-leg full planche! This is the first video that I've seen that covers this, but I ended up just trying it out for the hell of it based on other progressions that reduce the lever-arm on the arms/shoulders. Now I need to try the single-leg pumps and alternating-leg switches.
thankyou this series was extremely helpful, especially using 90 degree holds (Straddle or normal) to push up into planche, that blew my mind and was a super helpfull training method!:) Keep inspiring! Edit its been 2 weeks and I can hold a full planche for 3 seconds already!
Let's gooo the best planche tutorial series !! Just one question osvaldo, i completed the waistline pseudo hold (20 sec hold) but then when I try to do the bent arm straddle planche, I make the exact mistake you talked about (raising my hips too much) could you probably give some exercises to adress that ? (It might be related to posterior chain strenght, idk)
Gracias hermano, sigo en straddle, a punto de conseguirla y es gracias a tus enseñanzas, es increíble el avance con estas progresiones!! Esperando el de front que es mi debilidad 💪

Hey Oslvaldo, I was wondering if you would consider doing the same format for the front lever? I'm kind of stuck straddling, would love to get full lever. Love the videos! They are to the point and kept simple, just the way I like it.
Con tus videos he logrado obtener One arm pull up y Straddle planche push ups entre otras cosas, por favor haz un tutorial de Iron Cross ;) Buenisimos los videos.
I was impressed by your 2 finger 🤘 push up in Chris HERIA,s video . After that I also tried for that but i wasn't capable of doing that . I tried 3 finger pushps and within one month i was unlocked 🔓 with two finger pushps . Really your strength is overpowered ⭐🤘😭
You are a beast Osvaldo and you have definitely inspired me to transition from primary weightlifting into calisthenics to acquire those crazy skills like the Planche. I know you lifted weights for about 7 years before doing calisthenics. How was that transition for you? Did you have to sacrifice any aspects of your progress in order to progress with calisthenics?
