There was an open jam that Tim O’Brien was leading behind the Rockygrass main stage when I approached him and told him that I picked up his song recently and it’s my fav, he asked me to call it and we all jammed on it. Met Victor Furtado, my insta fren at the jam where Sam Grisman was hanging, Pheobe Hunt and more. Lucy Moore took the video, she was excited for me 😬
Then I got the confidence to sing this song more and took it to California and sat in with Jesse’s band at the Blondie’s where I met Mark Schatz! Jen Krauss took the video, she was my rock 🫡
And then I took it to Nashville and sat in with the local band with my friend Frank Evans and Stephen Mougin.
Jana Mougin took the video, she’s the sweetest ☺️
Ps : i met Tim last year in La Roche and i told him that i was a fan, he cried and hid his face over Jan’s shoulder, he couldnt believe he was famous. 🥹 what a legend!
