Good evening. I do a great deal of electrical work. I own four ladders. My favorite is the Little Giant “Dark Horse”. It is designed for electrical work. It is a fiberglass/aluminum articulating ladder that can be a 4 ft, 5 ft, 6ft, or 7ft A-frame. It can be open completely to form an extension ladder that is 8 ft, 9 ft, 10 ft, or 11 ft. This version also has one side in the a-frame mode that has ratching levelers. That means you can be on uneven ground and you can extend the ratching levers to compensate. It also has several accessories. One is a work platform which provides a metal plate that has holes with grips the bottoms your shoes that measures about 11 by 11 inches. The other is a tool tray (11 by 14 inches) with many types of slots including a magnetic trey. It is just incredible! The only drawback is that it weighs 56 lbs and to use safely it as an extension ladder requires another person. It also costs around $800 plus. It is the ladder I use the most (90% approx).

I have a Little Giant with the leveler legs. I love mine around the house. I needed an extension ladder to get on my roof and saw the Little Giant. Great ladder and super versatile. It does get heavy lugging it around.

Good video. I installed plywood in my van’s floor. Easy to remove coils , tools etc and easy to clean also.

I have a little giant leveler in my van, and store it just like you have yours. Most of the time it’s all I need unless I’m in a tight closet trying to get up in a scuttle access. I’m definitely going to get me a little 2ft ladder for changing filters and placement of my temperature probes instead of dragging that one out.

I got one of those 14 years ago. Handy, but awkward to maneuver in full extension mode. The base gives it good stability for going into attics, or for me going onto the roof at two low places in stepladder mode.
My attic access is at the end of a hall, close to the wall. This ladder with one side straight and the other forming the ramp made it much easier to maneuver insulation and such through the opening as the ladder topped out completely out of the way. Also, they are sturdy enough to use as an a-frame for lifting with a block affixed to the top.

The newer Warner Pro Ladders 🪜 are great, much improved! Different lengths available. New 🆕 update for 2024 - yellow softer feet material. Not sure how it’s going to hold up?

A nice ladder Curtis, i need a ladder similar to that,so i can clean out my roof gutters as my aluminium extension ladder is rather heavy to move around my house 👍

I like these type of ladders for service work or random jobs here and there. not so much for new construction or other work where they need moved very often, it becomes too fiddly if you have to close and re-open them often, like fishing wire across a building full of drop-in ceilings. it wont fit through doorways when open and after fiddling with the locks to open/close for the 500th time.
well you get the point, they are great for stairs, uneven ground, set it up and forget situations or where you only move it a few times.
some jobs I may have to collapse and open it 100+ times( in a few hours!) and it just waste's my time, so the end result is carrying other ladders plus it 🤪

I've had mine for over 10 year. Gorilla is my brand. Solid a trust worthy. Mine has drag wheels on one side to make a bit easier to get around.
If I get another choice I would go for the 10ft version as the std height of commerical push up ceiling tiles.
I'm carrying 3ft double step, 6ft folder out step, the 8ft gorilla, 4ft-6ftb platform and 10ft double sided fibreglass, plus 14ft extension. I can use all of the one a single job.
If I had to choose as a minimum it would be 3 step and gorilla.
    If there a a

I have an older werner ladder and it is awesome. Way better than the gorilla ladders. Werner is way easier to use. I thought they didn't make anymore because I haven't seen them at home depot for a while. That new version looks awesome.

The only thing I don’t like about them is the hinge flexes too much for my liking fully extended as an extension ladder. I had an issue with the locking pins and the replacements are extremely expensive. However it is my go to ladder any day.

I call ladders like that leg busters, I always mis-judge where the bottom set of steps are and bash the front part of my leg on the steps.
