This movie isn’t just about loneliness or the lack of someone. Personally I’ve related to it so much because of the feeling of being lost in life I feel, the feeling of not know who or what I am, the heavy feeling of wanting to be better but not knowing where I want to be or how I as a person want to be better… the true feeling of being lost as a person and trying to find yourself through the long but short journey of life.
This comment perfectly encapsulates how I have been the last couple of years, I am a man lost without a map, not knowing what I am looking for or where I should go. Fearing that I will move in the wrong direction which keeps me frozen.

This song puts me in one of those moments where you're view of the world just pauses and youre just going through all of those memories but also aren't, the sounds in the background get duller by the second and the value of what seemingly is high gets lower and lower. I think this is what it means to let your spirit free.
My problem with a lot of the literally me characters is that they’re not us, they’re psycho losers. K is and was the top dog of this trope. Kind but not nice, troubled but not depressed, destructive but not malicious. He believed in himself and the task at hand without really ever knowing what was real, I just hope we all get our moment in the snow ❄️
Absolutely. I noticed the exact same thing - especially when comparing K to other recent "literally me" characters like Walter White or Arthur Fleck. While they respond to the world with a hateful lash, he responds with an act of ultimate sacrifice and empathy. In the end, he truly earns the happiest and most meaningful ending.
This movie to me was a perfect story of the heroes journey, he begins as a villain, a killer doing his job and comes out on top as the nobody hero who died for the right cause because he felt he was a real enough person to serve a bigger purpose. Really great movie and really bitter sweet ending and message.
The only solution I can offer is that if you are nihilistic. You might as well try everything out there. I was like this for a time. Then I started doing mma, got jacked and learned a lot. Made lots of friends and started getting more attention from girls. We really only have this one life. You might as well enjoy every little thing this world has to offer.
These stories are the opposite of nihilistic. Their characters struggle in the face of adversity, to overcome overwhelming odds. That is the lesson to be had.
@@blockyorbits2376 Exactly. Even if K was just a secondary character in another person's story, he found purpose within it. You can't be less nihilist than that.
@@blockyorbits2376 yeah these betas seem to only focus on them being lonely but they’re complete opposite they’re one that overcome those weak feelings did something with their life
this movie is a masterpiece, and it changed the way I look at my own life, at least I think so, it helped me better understand the crazy world we live in right now. Even though I'm always alone, at least I do what I want.
This movie is humanity. Always lost, searching for the feeling of actually being alive, inevitably doing what you want. Being alive isn’t an obstacle, more so a long adventure.
The feeling is so completing yet it defines how empty we feel inside. It's an amazing feeling, endurance, hypertrophy, and strength for the mind through such simple means. Complete.

An actually good and meaningful edit with good quality, good bitrate, that's not compressed to shit and/or oversharpened? We struck gold right here, boys
Man I relate to this character so so much!! Yes I agree I am not the most charismatic person or the most coolest one or say a person who is a party addict but my mom raised me like a gentleman. I always talk with people in respectful manner and have a very helping attitude despite the fact what hurts me is when I see some people who are literal A-holes and over smart people who manage to get attention. I just spend most of the time by myself from doing my routine work and going to the gym. It has been years since someone texted or called me asking about my well being, You know I have to be the one who has to text someone in order to get a reply but since last couple of months I have stopped doing that as well. When I go out to the store or a café, I do the hello how are you talk for a few seconds, but that's not really talking to someone. The only people I have a 2 way conversation are my parents/siblings. During some weekends I just go out for some hiking by myself!
an absolute tragedy that this movie underperformed in the box office. This is the kind of Sci-Fi I want to see. Not whatever the new Marvel Phase regurgitates. We have Dune, but I'd do anything to have more Bladerunner.
I suppose one good thing about the cyberpunk universe we're heading towards is that AI will be able to generate movies and music for all of our sci-fi ideas.
I love how I clicked on this thumbnail (never seen this video before) knowing instinctively that it’d play Resonance by HOME because it’s been paired with BR and BR-2049 so many times. And it fits so well. Like a glove. Absolutely love this.
I’ve resonated with K and the whole movie. It’s beautiful in a haunting way, the sheer deepness of loneliness and how insignificant one may feel or seem and it carries through life but in Jesus name those feelings of mine are no more. It is a battle but I know y’all can do it as I am trying to right now! God bless
Having actually watched this now I've realized that this film has nothing to do with being lonely, and everything to do with being lost. K has no purpose in life. When he thinks he has found it, it is taken from him at the last second. Until he realizes... He can die for a good cause.
Well feeling lost often means feeling lonely. this story is about how we use artificial things to make us feel unloney, but we become lonely by not being a companion to ourselves first. This means finding our purpose and our way of life brings a companionship that you can share. An example is how the blade runner fought to let the other guy find his daughter
I have experienced the pain and confusion of having lived looking for meaning in self-improvement, the gym, and in money, and in status, and in validation from others. To all of you kings out there. What’s done is done, there is no regrets only the result of our actions. Don’t let small or big things keep you down forever. you have to pick yourself up sometime; and sometimes somebody’l raise you up by the arms if they have to. Stay safe king it’s a cruel world but the only thing we can do is at least make it comfier for us
The meme of literally me kinda overshadows how powerful K's journey is in this film. He's alone, feels inferior, lacks meaning and drive, and the only reason he picks himself up to actually do anything gets shattered. But he chooses to give himself the chance to do something meaningful. To seize meaning from a world that gave birth to him just for him to serve the purpose of others. Can't quite say he's literally me until I get that last part down, but still....he's literally me.
I appreciate you making this video which is so good. I like the sound quality and the overall picture quality. At 0:46, when the sound becomes distant is so good. Joe and Joi saying "Joe" is good with music kicking back in.
It is so relatable when the bladerunners don't have no feelings and you can't feel nothing anymore, but then you start to feel something and it's all a big fucking misery
I agree this story is about how we use artificial things to make us feel unloney, but we become lonely by not being a companion to ourselves first. This means finding our purpose and our way of life brings a companionship. An example is how the blade runner fought to let the other guy find his daughter
Bladerunner 2049 is just an unrivaled masterpiece it captures the feelings of trying to find one's purpose in life so beautifully not to mention the bittersweetness of an empty and lonely life
I feel as lost as Joe but in a very different way. Today I had a check up because I’ve been taking new ADHD meds and in the last year I’ve lost 12 pounds do to it and I think I’ve developed some anxiety issues and it didn’t rly hit me till today for some reason that having something like ADHD in the most literal since effects me in every single thing I do it effects my relationships with my friends it effects how I show love with my girlfriend and with my family it effects how I learn and retain information it effects my mental health (I.e anxiety and low self esteem) it effects my physical performance and my struggle to get fit it truly does suck and even people with the same issues as me have different experiences and how it impacts them and it both makes me feel extremely loved but more so extremely alone and it hurts. And before I get a reply saying “There are people there for you” ik that but I still find a disconnecting that no one will ever understand my individual experience with this. It just sucks.
I just left everything back home to a new country, my friends have moved on, can't blame them I never was the best at keeping friends. Now I see people with loved ones and friends and I feel a cavity in my heart, if you are lonely just try maybe it will work, I know I am
Once I watched this movie my life just automatically changed, I started acting different much more calm quiet and I’ve been smoother with my actions I’ve been listening to different music it turned from stuff like Pink Floyd to stuff like resonance every day ever since my life has been different and I’ve just been happier because I noticed that if I take in joes foot steps I will be much more happy because that is the life I truly want
I relate to the themes in this movies so much, I’m desperately trying to find a way to be a part of something bigger than myself, of something of meaning that has impact but I’m lost, Born into a time where everything has already been accomplished and where the traditional human values are no longer values. We are coming closing to this king of future without even realising
Home - Resonance when slowed down isn't nostalgic in the sense of longing for what you had to be in your hands again, but longing for what you've always wanted to be in your hands despite how far away it seems. And you know it is.

I think it's one of the best edits of literally me character
This song puts me in one of those moments where you're view of the world just pauses and youre just going through all of those memories but also aren't, the sounds in the background get duller by the second and the value of what seemingly is high gets lower and lower. I think this is what it means to let your spirit free.

It's resonance by home. I think it's some slowed version
Bro I have never drink or took pills but this makes me feel so relaxed its just like what dose people must expirience I Guess
Literally me except for the part of believing in myself.
You said he's a psycho loser but none of the things mentioned would make him sound like one
@@vulcanmemes9770 I’m saying all the other examples of “literally me” characters are psychos but K isn’t. He’s the exceptional and he’s pure
@@WeAreAllRob the guy from drive (also ryan gosling) is up there with K as well.
Sometimes you never realize the value of a moment until it becomes a memory.
This movie to me was a perfect story of the heroes journey, he begins as a villain, a killer doing his job and comes out on top as the nobody hero who died for the right cause because he felt he was a real enough person to serve a bigger purpose. Really great movie and really bitter sweet ending and message.
Literally me. I romanticize the nihilistic and lonely life style which I’m turn keeps me in it, leaving me incapable of become a greater being.
The only solution I can offer is that if you are nihilistic. You might as well try everything out there. I was like this for a time. Then I started doing mma, got jacked and learned a lot. Made lots of friends and started getting more attention from girls. We really only have this one life. You might as well enjoy every little thing this world has to offer.
real
Holy shit. holy shit this is a realization. “Even though I’m always alone,at least I do what I want”. Literally me at night, irony behind.

Funny how these short videos have the power to further enclose you into a mindset or discourage you from that mindset all together
Well not really I believe these videos do help everyone out either by relating how everyone is going through the same struggles in life or helping you realise and motivating you to make some changes in your life for the better. Like K did in the movie
Completely agree, music has the ability to help your mind get lost for a moment
I have experienced the pain and confusion of having lived looking for meaning in self-improvement, the gym, and in money, and in status, and in validation from others. Culture is deteriorating and the prescription for meaninglessness is just more poison, like having a sex change. Divorce is on the rise, do you even know a healthy family? Depression and anxiety, isn't that half of the other young people we know? We're in the most progressive age that's ever existed, the most instant gratification right on our fingertips. And yet.... we're lost in life, we want to be better without knowing how, and we need to find ourselves.
Reject modernity, embrace tradition. Seek God, however you conceptualize that. Go to church, even just once or twice. You will never, ever regret it and it could be what your soul has been hungering for your whole life.

Bladerunner is peak sci fi

Ryan Gosling gave his 100% in this movie.
God bless
Jesus love you my brother, stand firm in The Living God ❤️🙏🏻
Having actually watched this now I've realized that this film has nothing to do with being lonely, and everything to do with being lost. K has no purpose in life. When he thinks he has found it, it is taken from him at the last second. Until he realizes... He can die for a good cause.
Well feeling lost often means feeling lonely. this story is about how we use artificial things to make us feel unloney, but we become lonely by not being a companion to ourselves first. This means finding our purpose and our way of life brings a companionship that you can share. An example is how the blade runner fought to let the other guy find his daughter

One of the best blade runner edits I’ve ever seen💯
The meme of literally me kinda overshadows how powerful K's journey is in this film. He's alone, feels inferior, lacks meaning and drive, and the only reason he picks himself up to actually do anything gets shattered. But he chooses to give himself the chance to do something meaningful. To seize meaning from a world that gave birth to him just for him to serve the purpose of others. Can't quite say he's literally me until I get that last part down, but still....he's literally me.

“All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.” The blade runner saga always hit me hard with those lines
It's so weird and interesting, sometimes you enjoy being like this and sometimes you don't.
This movie is so friggin incredible...
I just left everything back home to a new country, my friends have moved on, can't blame them I never was the best at keeping friends. Now I see people with loved ones and friends and I feel a cavity in my heart, if you are lonely just try maybe it will work, I know I am
