thank you so very much on the video. I really wanted to test my typing out to see where I Landed. Apparently, I'm somewhat under average now and days. I came in at 60wpm at 95% accuracy. I low key think I will test myself more often to try and get my skill level up more in the suitable range of typing. I don't want to be less than average lol EDIT: I was looking up the average for 2023 and I came across a website that tested differeny type of people, and professions. Students 30-40wpm, Office workers 20-40wpm, Programmers 40-70wpm, Professional typists 40-70wpm
When I first found out about typing speed I tested wayy below 60, I think it was like 40 or smth (and I expected like 80 xd). From that day on I was doing these tests and now I usually hit 90 pretty comfortably. But that took a while. I used to always look at my keyboard while typing, so getting rid of that really improved it.Thanks for watching by the way
and it's pretty crazy since that vids is 10+ years? but now typers can reach 300 wpm (not those 10+ words) pretty crazy and they have high accuracy too. I'm new (5 days ago) to touch typing and currently 55 wpm and 92% accuracy (qwerty, monkeytype, 500 words, english 1k). but after watching those crazy typers i want at least 80-100wpm with 98-99% accuracy.
I use to be a fast typer. I changed jobs a while bag and no longer had to deal with computer work. Now I've switch jobs again after many years anf mmd will be working with computers again so now I have to practice and pick up the pace
in my point of few there is good learning material for typing words. Can anyone recommend lessons for actual programming dealing with { and < or ( and such things?

@@bogxd thanks!
@@hz8711 no problemo
It's pretty outdated due to the fact that there are now more people who type a lot faster than this guy, the top can reach into 200 or 300 wps.
That's actually crazy
@@bogxd Indeed right? Like some people are able to write a paragraph really fast, that is unbelievable to the eyes

I found keybr to be very effective as a beginner😊
Good on you. You should check out the sub r/typing. I learned a lot of typing tips there and the mods are insanely responsive
