Brother! much love for checking out my song! Just got a chance to sit down and watch this, really glad you enjoyed it and connected with it! Thanks for the support and kind words
So glad to see Ren alive and commenting on this. Ren you got a fan for life outa me. Downloaded EVERY song. Went down the Ren rabbit hole in the past couple weeks. You are ALL I’ve been listening to. You are a BEAST on the hunger!! Much love from Utah bro!!!! ✌🏼
Yo Ren.When you said "The pinnacle of your success was stealing other people's material "..where you referring to the covers you and The Big Push performed? If that is the case, I think you guys really turned those pieces into your own and opened up a younger generation to great music, which are both admirable and appreciated.
Ren, I have been singing the intro to myself every time I feel uneasy or anxious and, I can't explain why, it really calms me down. Thank you for existing at this day and age so I, we, all of us, could connect through your music❤
When you said “half of his life ill? That’s his whole childhood!” I started crying. I suffer with autoimmunity and several mental illness, and have my whole life. And yes it does Rob you of your childhood.
I hope you are doing well! I was diagnosed with systemic lupus at 16 and am now 35 so I’ve dealt with autoimmunity over half my life as well and it’s not easy. When you don’t look sick people just can’t seem to understand that just because I don’t look sick doesn’t mean every minute is not a struggle. I absolutely love this song and have become a ren fan for life!
@@ashleymcdonald4344I understand that. Waited up until 2 years ago to be diagnosed, with FIBROMYALGIA along with lupus. I see you. You are heard. Pray for low pain days.. You know because we NEVER feel good...I'm so tired of people saying that..
Just wanted to come back here, 7 months later, and say THANK YOU SHAQ! I've been watching you for years and YOU are the one who introduced me to this ridiculously multi-talented Ren. Since then I fell down the Ren Rabbit Hole and I don't plan on coming back out. It's quite nice here. Seriously though, thank you. Ren has become my favorite artist, hands down, and his music is just out of this world. Thank you! Thaaank you for introducing me to not only a unicorn of a musician, but an incredible community as well. Forever reppin #NLG and now forever a #RENegade ❤❤
The guy is in Canada for treatment of Lyme disease. He was bitten by a tick. However for years they called him crazy because he couldn't figure out what was wrong with him. And questioned his symptoms. To finally get the right verdict years later. The guy started to break through and he started his treatments in Canada. He can't even take advantage of the momentum. Big Luv Ren
Ren is blowing up You Tube right now. Your hits will go even higher just reacting to all his songs.. Murderer, Animal Flow, Illest of our Time, Losing It, The Big Push I shot the Sherrif Road to Zion .. he sings Bob Marley song so well. The guy has so many dope songs.. You can literally spend a week watching them all. I would love to see your reactions to it all.
I discovered Ren a few months before I seen this reaction and this was the first song I seen. I would like to speak my thoughts on it. The speech at the end is more powerful than anyone is actually noticing. My personal interpretation for his speech about defeating darkness is that he was never supposed to try to defeat the darkness but instead go with the flow of life and learn from it and grow. When he says the eternal dance separates us from humans to angels to demons to gods he’s absolutely right because it’s called mastering your mind and dancing with the light and the dark. You are supposed to fail as a human being you were supposed to make mistakes, you were also supposed to learn from them and not curse yourself for it. He said I cursed my clumsy footsteps meaning he looked down upon himself when he made mistakes but overtime he learned that he was just being human and they were not actually mistakes they were lessons. This feeds into every category of life including the Hardpoint known as addiction. Even during the song the “dark” Ren told him he should be so lucky that he has him to guide him. This little tiny speech that he did at the end of this song completely changed my life and I truly think I’m on the brink of finding eternal happiness. If people can get this message clearly the whole world might end up being a better place. Talk about powerful. I love you Ren, brother and teacher and student. I hope you see this comment, even if you don’t comment back. Your music will change the world, we will shake up the whole world beneath us.
It's also saying there is no real happiness without experiencing some unhappiness. People can't be happy all the time. They wouldn't get anything done. It's understanding what these emotions are and Ren is showing us how to channel them into something positive and productive. No pain - No gain.
Yes! When he says there are no winners, only victims and students, that's what he meant. You can be a victim of your negative thoughts or you can be a student and learn from your mistakes and learn when to listen to those critical voices in your head and when to disregard them. We all have them; they'll always be with us. And it's okay. We can learn to use them rather than allowing them to control us .
Keep going noshaq! It’s been a month and I’m all in on Ren. The well is deep. Some of the Big Push covers are great too. Particularly the Shot the sherif. Also the Trilogy of Jenny and screech. Plus genesis. SOOO MUCH. Don’t forget the street performances with Sam or chinchilla
This is not just music, it's art / theatre / drama / an exhausting journey / a roller coaster of emotions / groundbreaking / unique. What a talented young man.
Ren is an amazing storyteller. Some others to check out are Sick Boi, The Hunger, The tale of Jenny and Screech (Full version and in order), Genesis. He was misdiagnosed for about 10 years... recently finally found out he has Lyme Disease. He is currently in Canada getting treatment. I love this guy. He is so damn good. He is worth your time to deep dive into.
You understood this masterpiece sooner than any other reactor I've watched. And I've seen a LOT of them because I've been obsessed with this young man and his music.
Clearly this isnt the “first time” viewing this, he knew way too much way too early. Picking up on the real illness from the gown, the lights flickering and the guitar changing before even getting properly into the “good” side verse. This dude has a good channel, clearly popular, but no way he picked up on all this before any other reactor and he was more than a month late to the party. Not trying to hate but there is no way he went into this blind.
Shaq, this is why I love you man. You are always reaching out for more instead of more of the same. You seem to genuinely listen to things that are outside your wheelhouse and try to understand them. The world needs more like you in it.
This one of my favorite reactions too. Love it when he says at about 4:27 "this here is gonna be a masterpiece". No other reactor got it so quickly. His unbridled enthusiasm is ....king awesome. A big spin-off for me, from discovering Ren, is now discovering No Life Shaq, who also seems like one cool dude.
This! I'm waiting for Chalk Outlines to pop like Hi Ren has. It has surprisingly few reactions this far, but I imagine it will grow quick in the coming days.
Vocals were recorded live but the video is not a one-take. Samuel Perry-Falvey who filmed it, clarifies that in the comments of Jonathan Hiller's reaction to the song.
Yeh, it must be at least two takes since there are closeups that move and a wide shot. But I do believe he did record most if the audio in one of those takes
Haha I listened to this song when it first came out. Fuckin loved it. And now I love the fact that it's managed to work its way up to my favorite reactors. Ren deserves it for sure. I love seeing credit where credit is due
He literally does everything!! Whether with his band or other singers or alone singing or rapping it's all excellent music!! Go down that rabbit hole it's an experience!
Better late than never is my motto! You’ve got a huge “Ren” hole to go down. The man is stupid talented! He was born in 1990 so he will be 33 on March 29 and is dropping a new vid on his bday - can’t wait for it!
He was in school and lived with us on Anglesey. Top lad and very talented. He's suffered with illness alot of his life and lost friend but he's done amazing. Well done mate I'm so proud you made it on to here . Well deserved
My dear Shaq I know that dark place very well 30yrs of my life was in one word “ evil” I dealt with it ! I am gonna be 65 in Dec. and I still deal with it even tho those people who drove me to this dark side are dead I got to watch while they died so I won ! Thanks for playing Ren he should be a modern day prophet ! Love ❤️ ya lots Marg
That moment when you think you've won by locking it away, and it takes over completely. The moment that breaks you. Rock bottom. The moment the climb can begin. I felt every single breath that Ren took in this performance. I felt it, and I remembered it. Masterpiece. Thank you Shaq. 4 million subscribers are better for having shared this space with you.
Bro, finally! You gotta deep dive the catalog my guy. Ren is fucking incredible. There's so much to learn, and my dude Ren is a better storyteller than anyone in the hip hop game has been in ages. Check out all of it!
Shaq this is my fave reaction from you to date. Thank you for giving Ren some time. He is so worth it. I hope you do more. The guy can rap-rap, sing, tell stories, play guitar great. He legit does it all. Really am loving his music
What Ren tune has he done since? He's an industry man, he sold his soul to the man, he can't have another independent artist, he overstepped the line with Tom Macdonald. Shaq is a sell out. It should be ' No morals Shaq'.
This is the reaction I've been waiting for...patiently !! Ren is a phenomenal artist !! A genius !!! Shaq, you have to go down the rabbit hole ! Get ready for the rode of your life !!!
He took storytelling and made it a true complete art. The set, the lighting, the inflections in his voice, even down to his body language: every inch of him is in the performance. A true master at work.
First time seeing you react, and immediately subscribed. You apologized right off the bat for maybe not having the right words. But You Got It ! Other reactions to this piece noted lyrics or playing or rapping/singing. You grasped the whole picture - lighting effects, camera angles chord attack positioning, lyric and vocal changes that were representative of the 2 sides of Ren (and all of us). The monologue at the end is coming from a Christian, but is a perfect statement of Taoist philosophy - the eternal dance of Yin and Yang, dark and light, positive and negative, good and evil. It is about balance rather than winning or losing a battle. Brilliant art and a top rate reaction !
I love your comment at the end that this track tells you all you need to know about Ren .... But oh boy , there's so much you've still to find out that will blow you away!!!
In my 51 years I have never seen anyone like Ren. Ren can do anything and everything. The man just doesn't miss. I used to wonder what it was like to be there when Bob Dylan hit the scene? With Ren, I am beginning to understand the energy that follows a creative, musical and lyrical genius. I have never been this excited by music. Daily I notice a nueonce of a Ren song that reaffirms the brilliance of the architecture of his works of art.
This guy is hitting it out of the park with ALL ages! And the most used adjective is EXITED! I used it myself, then read thousands of others describing the same experience. We FEEL his music!!
Thank you for this. Awesome! Hopefully you will explore more of Ren. All the things suggested below and above are awesome, and his next track comes out on the 29th of this month. The crazy thing is that you NEVER know what to expect. He is a musical chameleon, but whatever you pick will be good. Enjoy the ride, I haven't gotten off for three months now.
SOOOO glad you got to this and used your audience to keep spreading this amazing performance. Ren is extremely talented and has overcome a lot in his life. I really hope you can check out some of the other songs people have listed, I promise you will be stunned at just how much talent this guy has, there is no genre he can't do at a high level. My personal fav is "Chalk Outlines" the live version.
I am 100% sure that Ren will see that you reacted to this. He's even commented on channels with lower subscribers and I guarantee you he's been waiting for you to react to this. I just feel it in my gut that we will see a comment from him.
I imagine many of us, feel this song was written for us! The artists who have truly spent their lives, living and surviving, in the battlefields of mental health….will always produce the most genuine, original, and memorable art. Sometimes, it takes touching the darkest depths of despair, to truly appreciate the smallest joys, that others overlook. Loved your reaction, as always.
You'll absolutely love his storytelling on The Tale of Jenny an Screach (Full Version). He's got so many bangers that incompase multiple genres. Keep going down the Ren rabbit hole coach, you will enjoy it.
Its not fair that one person has so many talents. He is one of those 'once in a generation' artists that will not be forgotton. I just found him myself, listened to this because my dogs name is Ren.
I’ve made a pact with myself to like and comment on every reaction vid to “Hi Ren” This performance gets me in tears every time, a true piece of musical/visual art. Please everyone reading- love yourself, pet an animal and take care 💜
Waited soooooooo long for you to do this, you will not be disappointed with anything from ren this kid has it all and rap? Omg he can rap check out his other stuff and don’t leave it so long. Much love bro from 🇬🇧
I love that I'm seeing this incredible young artist because of you just like you introduce young people to the great music I grew up with. I'm in awe of this artist. Thank you.
For all the legends who can appreciate this masterpiece, this is musical art in a story . We’ve all suffered within our own minds, perhaps the greatest battle we all face. For a guy who appreciates all music, all forms of art, thank you all for appreciating this masterpiece! Thank you #nolifeshaq for your love of all music and depth of understanding it .
Pretty sure Ren celebrates his 33rd birthday at the end of this month. He's been making music for a long minute but obviously got sick. All i can say is it's damn good to have him back. Much love and respect from The Uk.
Great reaction, you really showed understanding, not everyone does. Please continue reacting to Ren. There is so much to look at, and everything is good! Ren has so much talent. I'd recommend Jenny and screech ( full version) to see pure artistry, The Hunger to see him rap rap, and I shot the Sherrif/ Road to Zion/ Hip hop, filmed live in the streets of Brighton with his band The Big Push, to see a different type of performance But you can't go wrong reacting to anything he's done. Ren fans are passionate about supporting him. I've subbed in anticipation of the next reaction. Thank you
07:15 I don't know why but i started getting emotional when you starts explaining what's going on and gives your thought on the matter. Even though I've already watched the original music video and knew what's going on. There's something in your voice that transcends the words. Your sincere message. 💜
I got chills when I first heard the part where he say "I was made by his hand little part of his plan that I stand whit my own two feet" And see him getting up man 🔥 I cried
Not sure if its intentional but I love the "wooo"ing is played at the beginning and at the end to set the tone. At first its unexpected and slightly irriating which sets the tone for the first conversation between the illness and the self. At the end hes accepted to accept himself illness and all and to celebrate it. The second "wooo"ing is more beautiful and settles in with the guitars melody triumohantly. Genius
My son is roughly Rens age. He’s struggling with similar symptoms to Ren. The UK medical system is of no help. I feel helpless as a parent, especially as I too have suffered many years with the same chronic condition. Living with chronic illness tests a person’s resilience to the limit. Ren and his music has rocked us to the core. With this one song alone his mission on earth is complete. To produce music like this whilst being imprisoned in your own body, continual mind battles, debilitating symptoms, is next to a miracle. Myself and my son LOVE Ren and we wish him the very best, we pray for his recovery. Thank you for this video and your interpretation and for highlighting how hard being chronically unwell is.🙏❤
The main man finally reacting to Ren! Ren reaches out to a lot of reactors and I can't wait for him to see this! I've been watching non stop reactions to people witnessing this song for the first time! Just you wait for The Hunger and Jenny & Screech (full trilogy). Looking forward to them Shaq! Peace from England!
This is one of the best reactions I have seen to this video.. and I have seen many of them. Thank you for your understanding and support of this message!
Ren is incredible in every genre. Go do the rabbit hole. People will give you his rap rap songs, but storytelling Tale of Jenny & Screech Trilogy FULL. Make sure it's full. And for a dope live performance just kind of flexing with his friend Ren & Sam Tompkins Mans world etc. For him with a dope female artist Ren x Chinchilla, Chalk Outlines and I forgot how to be me. You would love all of these on top of his rap rap stuff and just in general this dude is insane. His story is also. He is a true artist in a different sense than just music.
The great thing about Ren is that his music unites everybody. Doesn't matter if you are a hip hop fan, metalhead, opera aficionado, everybody is touched by his music. Even though it's related to his own personal struggle, the words can be interpret to anyone's personal struggle. We all go through hardships, bigger or smaller, and the way we deal with them is what makes us human. Great message. Amazing artist. He is one of those that comes by once in our lifetime. We are lucky to witness it.
Great reaction. “Hi Ren" is the song that put Ren on everyone's radar since December; it went viral and has garnered more than 7 million views since its debut, but he has been creating great music for more than ten years. Ren’s music videos are generally recorded live, often in a single take, although not necessarily the first take, and from various camera angles. His release, "Sick Boi," is almost another chapter to "Hi Ren." Many of Ren’s songs resonate with people because he addresses struggles that many others face every day. Ren plays multiple instruments (acoustic, electric, and bass guitar, piano, drums), has impressive vocals, is an excellent storyteller, and is quite the philosopher and poet. He is considered by many a modern bard; he calls his music “bardcore.” Ren’s earliest recordings on TH-cam are from his time in a band called “Trick The Fox,” consisting of Ren and his buddies Charlie and Tommy. Unfortunately, the band performed only briefly due to Ren’s onset of health issues. They are very talented. A fun clip to watch is “The Mash Up.” Ren’s trilogy "The Tale of Jenny/Screech/Violet" has been likened to a Shakespearean tragedy and is a prime example of his genius; it is a master’s class in storytelling and also showcases his guitar skills. The three acts are haunting, and the conclusion will catch you off guard. The trilogy needs to be watched in the order given, as this is the flow of the storyline and is best watched as a whole rather than piecemeal. Ren’s collaborations with Chinchilla (“Chalk Outlines,” “How to Be Me,” “Sexual Healing,” “One Dance/Drunk in Love”) are beautiful and showcase his singing voice. His live music videos are especially impressive. Ren's personal reflections are threaded through many of his songs; "Insomnia," "Depression," “Diazepam," “Penitence,” “Dear God,” “Heretic,” “Dominos,” his "Freckled Angels" album, just to name a few, all deserve a listen. His song "Money Game" (Part I & II) is another recommendation, although it is less of a personal song than it is an indictment of greed and the resulting injustices in this world. Ren’s Hip Hop/Rap style songs are all worth checking out if you enjoy this genre; they are pretty amazing. Check out “The Hunger,” “Genesis,” “What You Want,” “Losing it (FISHER rap retake),” “Right here, right now (Fatboy Slim one shot retake),” "Life is Funny," “Love Music (Parts 1, 2, and 3),” “Crucify Your Culture,” “Power,” and his latest release, “Bittersweet symphony (The Verve retake).” As I recently discovered, Ren also recorded a cover of “Can't Help Falling In Love (Elvis Cover),” that is simply beautiful. Then there are his performances with Sam Tompkins (“Blind Eyed,” “Earned it /Mans World / Falling,” “Walking on the moon/No Diggity”), Eden Nash (“Humble,” “Ocean”), Bibi (“Crutch,” “Ahiahiaoha”), Molly McKinna (“Penitence”), his former bandmate, Romain Axisa (“French Song”), which are all great. "The Big Push" busking sessions, concerts, and live recordings all are awesome and well worth checking out. Their covers of "I Shot the Sheriff/Road to Zion/Hip Hop," "Wade in the Water/Nina Simone/Trouble so Hard," “War Pigs,” "My Generation," "An Englishman in New York," “Bongo Bong,” the songs "Oh My Woman," “Swan Song,” “Sweet Little Lady," "It's Alright," "Watch Out," “Dignity,” and so many others are equally impressive. The band performed their last official busking session and gave their last concert in September of last year due to the fact that Ren was leaving for Canada to undergo medical treatment for his multiple health issues, including surgeries. In anticipation of his stay in Canada, Ren prepared some music ahead of time to be released over the next six months that he expects to be gone. He released “Sick Boi” and “Bittersweet Symphony (The Verve retake),” which is another masterful work. Ren has hinted that he might release his newest song on March 29, which is his birthday.
Wow! Thanks for that great essay. I just got introduced to this beautiful genius by my 78 year old mother! Spent a few hours looking at his amazing work. I am so glad he's getting the care he needs. Good wishes and prayers are coming his way from my family.
haven’t even hit the start of the song yet, but had to comment that i am *so* happy you’re doing this. someone with a platform your size checking him out and sharing him is awesome 💜 and when it comes to Ren, you’ll find nobody is going to complain about how long the videos are. he’s just that guy.
The voice that you hear when your loose in the noose on the rope. Thats an awesome line. Sticks in my head. Not many artists will record themselves live like this either and they sure dont get it done in 1 to 4 takes
He's an amazing man, absolutely pure and real. With no doubt one of the best musicians ever. He has something to say, something so many people deal with and never spoke it out. Thanks for this Ren, for your trust, for letting us be a part of your journey. We love you. ❤
I’ve been waiting for you to react to this song for months. I LOVE your Em reactions and was wondering if you’d ever click to Ren. And you did! And you didn’t disappoint!!! I’ve devoured REN’s catalog and while I don’t love every song, they were all well done and all but a couple are worthy of my favorite playlist. Thank you for the wonderful reaction. You really get it!
Well done, Shaq. You really got it. And Ren can SPIT spit. Check out The Hunger or Losing it for his rap. The Tales of Jenny & Screech are a dark Shakespeare tragedy of epic storytelling. Hi Ren and The Tales of Jenny & Screech are all done live in one takes. Incredible.
“Some people know me as the voice that they hear when they loosen the noose on the rope” One hell of a line. And when he sings “cower from the man I become” gives me goosebumps
So glad you found Ren. Keep going on this journey. You will not be disappointed (promise). Ren is a truly phenomenal artist. Others have suggested the same songs I would. Hope to see more soon. ✌🏻🫶🏻🙏🏻
You have to check out his song Sick Boi - brilliant piece of work. And his collaboration with Chinchilla on Chalk Outlines - is just amazing. His music is so varied. He is so gifted both musically, lyrically, his video making, the imagery. He is just such a good artist in every sense of the word.

Lyme is no damn joke! Will paralyze and kill you painfully
Ya man don’t stop at just this track, dudes got plenty more worth your reaction time.
He was misdiagnosed with me/cfs, bipolar and smth else (I forgot) now he's getting treatment for lyme disease and brain damage

This dude has a good channel, clearly popular, but no way he picked up on all this before any other reactor and he was more than a month late to the party. Not trying to hate but there is no way he went into this blind.
This guy watches other reactors and takes their words and puts them into his own and plays it off like he is so smart .
Shaq, this is why I love you man. You are always reaching out for more instead of more of the same. You seem to genuinely listen to things that are outside your wheelhouse and try to understand them. The world needs more like you in it.
Shaq is probably the best reactor dude is literally just himself and he's a genuine person
Agreed. although I like the rapper and metal head brothers and Holla Krazy
This song made me cry. I spent years fighting mental health and addiction alone. Thanks to my wife and music like this that brought me back.
Everyone’s forgetting what may be his second best song, Chalk Outlines Live feat Chinchilla. Another MASTERPIECE like this one.
This! I'm waiting for Chalk Outlines to pop like Hi Ren has. It has surprisingly few reactions this far, but I imagine it will grow quick in the coming days.
@@Angivel seriously, Genesis and Chalk Outlines
Crutch ❤
Money game #2
Power.. i love that one!
Please do not miss the fact that this was shot in one take, so even the staging and Ren performing both characters is absolute genius too.
Vocals were recorded live but the video is not a one-take. Samuel Perry-Falvey who filmed it, clarifies that in the comments of Jonathan Hiller's reaction to the song.
@@hmo_mackey well I was gonna reply to op but you can't one take audio and video it's a two take but it was all live
Yeh, it must be at least two takes since there are closeups that move and a wide shot. But I do believe he did record most if the audio in one of those takes
It was 4 takes all live.
4 attempts to get the song in one whole take. Not sure if I explained that right but hopefully you know what I mean. Multiple cameras
Haha I listened to this song when it first came out. Fuckin loved it. And now I love the fact that it's managed to work its way up to my favorite reactors. Ren deserves it for sure. I love seeing credit where credit is due
Hey Karsa, please consider checking out my reaction as well. Thank you!
This was deeper than deep. This reached a lot of different emotions.
He literally does everything!! Whether with his band or other singers or alone singing or rapping it's all excellent music!! Go down that rabbit hole it's an experience!
Awesome reaction! Plan B was referencing our English rapper and songrwriter 'Plan B' who also raps whilst playing his guitar.
Better late than never is my motto! You’ve got a huge “Ren” hole to go down. The man is stupid talented! He was born in 1990 so he will be 33 on March 29 and is dropping a new vid on his bday - can’t wait for it!
Welcome to the RENAISSANCE!! Been waiting for you to join the movement. Gotta check out Money Game 1 & 2!!!
So true!
The (full) Tale of Jenny and Screech (and Violet)
The best acoustic guitar intro I HAVE EVER HEARD!!!
Please check out my reaction as well if you have an opportunity. Thank you!
What Ren tune has he done since?
He's an industry man, he sold his soul to the man, he can't have another independent artist, he overstepped the line with Tom Macdonald. Shaq is a sell out. It should be ' No morals Shaq'.
@@malcombe7001 I feel you. I've been hoping to see a notification for another Ren reaction. It is what it is, I suppose
tell him to do more ren, wtf
Your smile when he stood up warmed my heart man.
Ren has loads of amazing tracks man, very versatile too, check out some more for sure
I have literally been waiting for you to watch this! This is 💯 a masterpiece and a work of art!
Jenny and screech is so good by Ren too. He really is an artist.
you must watch the full trilogy in one shot: The Tale of Jenny and Screech (Full)
That's such a great song as well
@@travishiland533 And Violet!
Yes full trilogy reaction all at once
@@judigrumm7190 yes, yes! The tale of Jenny and Screech (Full) includes Violet's Tale
This is the reaction I've been waiting for...patiently !! Ren is a phenomenal artist !! A genius !!! Shaq, you have to go down the rabbit hole ! Get ready for the rode of your life !!!
That tiny bit of delay between the track and the video you're watching is awesome. Almost makes it sound ethereal.
He took storytelling and made it a true complete art. The set, the lighting, the inflections in his voice, even down to his body language: every inch of him is in the performance. A true master at work.
Welcome to the era of Bardcore
HES SOMETHING INCREDIBLE MAN...BEEN WAITING FOR YOUR REACTION THO!!✨⭐
Welcome to Ren’s World. I just got here last week and I live here now. I haven’t found a bad Ren song yet.
“This has got to be a movie” the joy that came across me knowing he had no idea what was about to come his way 😁 please do more Ren reactions 🙏🏼
MAN, W T H - Rens one of the hottest artists in the world right now, why aren't you giving him more space here with your AMAZING reactions?
I love your comment at the end that this track tells you all you need to know about Ren .... But oh boy , there's so much you've still to find out that will blow you away!!!
Ren is the best artist on the planet right now. Dive right in man.
FACTS
I've watched many reactions to Hi Ren and I thought this was one of the best. Good stuff man! New subscriber here
When he comes in with his vocals, the reactions are just priceless. Almost everybody Ive seen has the same face... "wtf is this?". It's so good.
He just commented 20 hours ago. 🖤💪🏽🖤💪🏽
Thanks again Shaq for bringing this into my life. You are the best!
You catch so many things that others miss. I love it! Even the subtle difference with the guitars in the different personas
You'll absolutely love his storytelling on The Tale of Jenny an Screach (Full Version). He's got so many bangers that incompase multiple genres. Keep going down the Ren rabbit hole coach, you will enjoy it.
Please check out my reaction as well if you have an opportunity. Thank you!
Its not fair that one person has so many talents. He is one of those 'once in a generation' artists that will not be forgotton. I just found him myself, listened to this because my dogs name is Ren.
He’s probably trade any one of his talents for his health. It’s all about perspective
More Ren reactions please! I can't get enough of him!
I’ve made a pact with myself to like and comment on every reaction vid to “Hi Ren”
This performance gets me in tears every time, a true piece of musical/visual art.
Please everyone reading- love yourself, pet an animal and take care 💜
Beautiful . Thank you
He’s a true inspiration for those of us who suffer from chronic illness
One of the most talented person alive right now ❤❤
Waited soooooooo long for you to do this, you will not be disappointed with anything from ren this kid has it all and rap?
YOU GOTTA WATCH *THE HUNGER* I LOVE IT THE BEST OUTTA ALL HIS SONGS...OUTTA THIS WORLD, HE DOES THE BEATBOXING AN ALL!!✨
Pretty sure Ren celebrates his 33rd birthday at the end of this month. He's been making music for a long minute but obviously got sick. All i can say is it's damn good to have him back.
Much love and respect from The Uk.
Please check out my reaction as well if you have an opportunity. Thank you!
what ??? 33 ??
@@jay1hilton358 Yep, I'm pretty certain.
Thank you
Shaq. Brother, I just re-watched his reaction and man, you got him right from the start. first ones to really get him.
07:15 I don't know why but i started getting emotional when you starts explaining what's going on and gives your thought on the matter. Even though I've already watched the original music video and knew what's going on. There's something in your voice that transcends the words. Your sincere message. 💜
Rens catalog is crazy man. no track that disappoints. this guy is just another level.
This dude is refreshing. No cursing just pure honesty. Shaq your don for putting this one up.
He has more in the bag beleive that 🔥👌🏾
Yeah like NF you mean right?
He cussed... You missed it.
He swears a lot in this, actually.
This song has more f#$%s in it than I do
@CytalDeArtist yes
I got chills when I first heard the part where he say "I was made by his hand little part of his plan that I stand whit my own two feet"
And see him getting up man 🔥 I cried
Please check out my reaction as well if you have an opportunity. Thank you!
Thank you for this video and your interpretation and for highlighting how hard being chronically unwell is.🙏❤
Yessss My boy!!! You made it !!! Thank a lot i asked you several times to react to Ren :) Im so glad right now. Welcome in the ren Rabbit Hole :)
Glad you found him, wait until you hear his other stuff! Best Bob Marley cover I have ever heard!!
This is one of the best reactions I have seen to this video.. and I have seen many of them. Thank you for your understanding and support of this message!
"Sick Boi" and "Chalk Outlines"!!! Great reaction, Shaq. Your review was well put.
Haven’t listened to this all the way through till now. Incredible song
Tale of Jenny was his first song I heard, so good
Ren is a underrated genius, nice to see he gets so much exposure. Its deserved also this was a live one take in pretty sure
This is amazing Thank you Shaq
He's 32! I discovered him last week and have listened to nothing but his music. He's on a different level
A fun clip to watch is “The Mash Up.”
Ren’s trilogy "The Tale of Jenny/Screech/Violet" has been likened to a Shakespearean tragedy and is a prime example of his genius; it is a master’s class in storytelling and also showcases his guitar skills.
Check out “The Hunger,” “Genesis,” “What You Want,” “Losing it (FISHER rap retake),” “Right here, right now (Fatboy Slim one shot retake),” "Life is Funny," “Love Music (Parts 1, 2, and 3),” “Crucify Your Culture,” “Power,” and his latest release, “Bittersweet symphony (The Verve retake).”
As I recently discovered, Ren also recorded a cover of “Can't Help Falling In Love (Elvis Cover),” that is simply beautiful.
The guitar he played there was a classical i was happy to see it getting some love
haven’t even hit the start of the song yet, but had to comment that i am *so* happy you’re doing this. someone with a platform your size checking him out and sharing him is awesome 💜 and when it comes to Ren, you’ll find nobody is going to complain about how long the videos are. he’s just that guy.
Your reaction was very astute, you picked up everything. This is one of many masterpieces from Ren recorded live in one take
The voice that you hear when your loose in the noose on the rope.
Please check out my reaction as well if you have an opportunity. Thank you!
Incredible.
I don't care who you are... you can appreciate the greatness and purity of this song. SHAQ thank you for introducing me to this artist.
“Some people know me as the voice that they hear when they loosen the noose on the rope”
One hell of a line.
And when he sings “cower from the man I become” gives me goosebumps
So glad you found Ren. Keep going on this journey. You will not be disappointed (promise). Ren is a truly phenomenal artist. Others have suggested the same songs I would. Hope to see more soon. ✌🏻🫶🏻🙏🏻
I have been waiting sooooo long for your reaction on this 🤩🤩🤩
Ren can really spit too. Check out The Hunger or Losing it. You will enjoy it 🎉🎉🎉
You have to check out his song Sick Boi - brilliant piece of work. And his collaboration with Chinchilla on Chalk Outlines - is just amazing. His music is so varied. He is so gifted both musically, lyrically, his video making, the imagery. He is just such a good artist in every sense of the word.
Congrats on 4 milli Shaq! My first view was probly 70k. Go more into Ren please!
REN did this video in 4 takes live. MUCH MORE Respect is due my friend. A few different cameras and editing. REN will be remembered
