Those train cars that you were riding on are called Talgos, they are very unique . These cars were only built for Amtrak cascades service. They are unique because of the way that they have their trucks placed under the car bodies, there is only one truck with one axel per car. These Cascade cars share one truck each which gives this a sort of European design look.
Thank you for your comment! It was a good trip. I am glad you enjoy the images. The songs are selected from my iphone audio. Please check back for my other trips and future trip videos.
I ride this service often. It might warrant a smile, but a full chuckle...nope. Business class no longer has reserved seating...so what you get for $40 extra for roundtrip is...early boarding and closeness to the booze and what passes for food. The classic chowder, a great breakfast or light dinner is gone, Seattle's elegantly remodeled station lacks a business class lounge...Portland is way ahead Both have good transit access. Seattle's station is in the midst of Seahawks territory, so no lack of booze, noise, if you're traveling on Sundays in season. Homeless populations near both ststions....
Thank you for capturing this trip ! I was searching for similar video to get idea for myself ❤
The soothing music added to the nice scenery.
