Yea, I was expecting it to be much worse. Typically any non-native finnish speaker is going to stick out when singing in finnish.
@@timmokoo5679 Its easier to sing in another language than to speak. Her finnish when talking is far from clear ;)
@@Honken55 I think it's just that you practice the pronounciation more when singing. You do not generally go through your speeches several times word by word. But yea, she has an accent but I personally do think she did a great job here.

Finland has such a Metal tradition... Love it. A lot of Metal on the radio (yes Nightwish)... Just to have a Metal christmas show says a lot.

Yes but sadly it's again mixed on some piece of s**t cRapBook so the audio mix is totally messed up and the vocals are totally muted.

I think that floor would like it. She normally doesn't like reaction channels. Because the most saw wow she can sing good. You give really good device and breakdowns of voices. She is a really big vocal nerd.

So, a lot of good singers if they put in the time to learn how to do it and to understand how they're voice can do it. A lot of people are good singers, but they just do enough work to sound good. Floor does the work and learned how to go beyond sounding good, she's as perfect of a singer as there is.
This goes to anything. You can be an exceptional writer if you take the time, coding same thing, woodworking. Anything that you can put the time in and say "I want to keep getting better, I want to learn everything about it" you can do it. Most of us though decide that being good is good enough.
There are a few reaction channels I really like and yours is one of them. There is Julia Nilon, Chase Carmeson, and The Charismatic Voice. All of you bring something to reactions and that's the knowledge in your brains. Watching anyone react to Nightwish, Jinjer, Igorrr and SOAD is fun for the first time or so, but then it's just them praising the singer and not saying anything nourishing to our minds. Good job!

If you like Floor's more deeper and middle range singing in beautfully long lines (and aggressive belts of course too) you should check out Song of Myself (Wacken live). One of the best Nightwish songs in my opinion.
It is great to hear how you, a season trained vocalist can hear how special Floor's vocal color and timbre is even among other good vocalists.🎄

However in rock music I think she is the best and how can you not love her and that charismatic personality. She just exudes warmth and compassion as well as love for music and her fans. I know of only one female singer with a special voice, a insane range (from bass, like Elvis Presley, to soprano) but she is specialicing in JAZZ, so most of you dont know her.LOL. AND she is about 25 years younger than Floor Jansen. This singer is from Norway, will be 16 years old on January 10th 2022 and her name is Angelina Jordan. Peace people. The young woman is just starting her career.

Lennon died on December 8th, not October. It also makes a lot more sense for them to have performed a Christmas song in December. I'm guessing the subtitles just dated it wrong?

Eddie i think with the right focus of training, her sound would work for Wagner. Her range is that of a spinto or dramatic soprano, if talking in opera terms. That's why people call her a dramatic coloratura, although her range is not that of a coloratura. She certainly has the capability of successful agile phrases in her high range typical of coloratura technique though
@@BigBrainSinger Very much appreciated for the quick response. I think a vocal coach said, she is a Dramatic Soprano but with a higher range. She sang a D6 in Phantom but she can get higher than that, according to the Charismatic Voice. Peace out.

Metal can improve many genres of music when used wisely. But sometimes it is inappropriate.
I think Metal as a genre has grown out of so many different musical influences that there's no real defined ratios. Compared to other genres, it has an immense internal stylistic variation that really piques the ears of picky listeners. People who can hear the nuances.
I find it interesting and irritating that in Lennon's original, he accuses us of, something.
