My French isn't very good, but I've been studying it for 5 years. I also had basic French for 4 years in elementary school because I live in Germany on the border with Alsace. But there you only learned the colors, the animals and simple greetings. Later in high school I chose it as my third foreign language after Englishand Latin. It takes me twenty minutes to cycle to France from my home. I love the language and the culture. I think French sounds so beautiful. And that's why I say:

I know your situation very well. I live like 20-30 minutes away from the french-german border with Lorraine ( Saarland ). For now I‘m studying German since 8 years and have the advanced french course in school but still had big issues to understand this video. French at German schools really doesn’t seems to be that helpful in your everyday life I guess lol

I suppose French at German schools is like Spanish in American schools then, I’ve had a similar experience with Spanish in middle school before deciding to do Latin in high school. I wish the education given to people would be more helpful for learning a new language than they are currently, I’m very glad you’ve been able to love French!

I'm learning French and Russian at the same time for awhile now. I love both languages. However, I'm finding Russian much easier for me to learn. I have no idea why. What I am certain of, is that Sharon can do no wrong. She could speak Tagalog, via armpit flatulence, through a half broken megaphone and it would still sound like In Paradisum, being sung by Holy Cherubim. The hummimg was almost enough to send me to heaven personally. What a treasure you are Sharon.
Comme à chaque fois que je commente tes vidéos je vais dire qu'elle est exceptionnelle, mais c'est tellement vrai, on a certaines préférences vis-à-vis des déclencheurs mais l'ASMR artiste y fait beaucoup. Et tu es une artiste incroyable.

I'm so happy French is my second language. I've always found it to be tingly. The title translates to "The best sleep of your life."
I could listen for hours someone reading the phone book in French, it is a beautiful language, I wish I spoke it well!

I learnt French for 6 years in total (middle + high school), forgot almost everything because in my country it's actually not a common language at all (the less practical option to choose, the second one is Arabic) and I had no one to talk to.
Do you have any French videos with English subs by any chance? the slow, somewhat repetitive talk could actually be an awesome way to learn (or refresh) the language!
