I just found out last week. Literslly three and a half months ago my brother by proxy said "LS is still with us" and then he must have passed soon after. A great comedian. Just discovered him on Car 54..brilliantly funny there too.
At 99 years of age Larry passed away from this life in July 2022. Thank you Larry for all of your wonderful entertainment over the years. Now you can be reunited with your buddies from F-Troop! RIP Larry! Mark from Melbourne Australia
One of the very best 1/2 hr. westerns that was ever made. This show is genuine therapy. Casting is superb. This always perks you up when you're feeling bad. No computer animation or foul language or gory scenes. Thanks for posting this. Wild Eagle & Crazy Kat were super cool. I think all are gone now but the reruns are still rocking it.

Agreed! The 60's shows were built on true acting, written dialog and building of characters... not on special effects, vulgarity nor the cost of other's well-being or feelings. F Troop and it's cannon and falling guard tower will live on!
We were so lucky as kids to have great comedy like this to watch. The writing and comedy acting were brilliant. It is also influenced peoples' sense of humor which, today, is sadly lacking.
Some times I wonder 🤔 What would the writers think about all the political content they would have to cut ✂️ out.. Oh the good old days when we use to play cowboys & indians.
RIP, Larry Storch. So many wonderful roles, cameo appearances, and animated voices. I remember F Troop fondly, and Agarn was my favorite. Happy Trails to the last member of the cast.
Forrest Tucker actually was a cavalryman - the real deal. He was in an armored cavalry - scout and security - unit in World War 2 in Europe in 1944-45. Our armored or air cavalry troopers of today wear the old cavalry hats at every opportunity.
Great show with great comic actors. Ken Berry, Forest Tucker and Larry Storch had great chemistry together. It's a crime this show was not given a 3rd season, ratings were still good. Probably could have gone on for a 4th season, was well written. Frank De Kova as Wild Eagle also was superb.
I do agree. They really should have left it alone. It did have quite a niche following, probably right in the demographics that the advertisers were interested in reaching.
F Troop lives on and forever! “Agarn I don’t know why everybody says your so dumb”. “WHO SAYS I’M DUMB?!”. Classic! My most favorite comedy time lapsed response in history! ::)
I’m a second generation viewer of F-Troop. My mom watched it on the 1960’s black-and-white box tv as a girl. I’m twenty-five and watching the episodes on an i-phone.
@Mary Same here, but a little different. My MawMaw, and Mama watched it, and I use to watch it all the time as a kid in the 70’s, and then my baby brother watched it on nick at night back in the 90’s, and here I am watching it all over again
These are so un PC today, they wouldn't dare show them. My daughter would watch them with me at 6 years old. We celebrated her 30's yesterday and recalled the song. I sent her this one.
One of my all-time favorite shows! Forrest Tucker played so well alongside Larry Storch! The rest of the supporting cast was great too! Larry Storch was in a class all his own. I ABSOLUTELY love this show!!!
I recall him being in a movie 🍿 named “ The Great Race ! “. He was brilliant in that movie. I read recently that he had passed away sadly 🥲! I too watched “ F Troop “as a kid ! Thanks for posting this TH-cam!
Thank you so much for this post. I think more people are getting it because of posts like this. I always got it. Again dancing, and turning on those Indians was sidesplitting. Larry was special. He was I that top tier..Dangerfield ,Pryor, Rickles. People that make you happy for a while
I laughed out loud through ALL this and I havnt seen it since the 1960's lol, great writing and comic acting, Im going to see If I can buy them?, thank you poster
I love this show 😄 I grew up watching this program! My favorite characters was the Sargent, Corporal Agon, Dobbs, Vanderbilt, Chef Wild Eagle and Crazy Cat!
I enjoyed a text exchange with Mr. Storch on Facebook not long ago where he shows a very active lifestyle. I complimented him for an appearance on Columbo where he played a California Motor Vehicle driver road test inspector, a straight role and he was just great. Tonight on "Svengoolie" he ran "The Crawling Eye" with Forrest Tucker (and Janet Munro)....I love "F Troop" which reminds me of the "Three Stooges" in many ways. Great great comedy.
I remember an episode of F Troop with Harvey Korman as a Prussian Balloonist . The seen where Harvey asks the Captain if they have a batman in the United States ??? Captain Palmiter said " No , not at this time but someday we might have a Batman . Then came the commercial and the first one was " Stay tuned for the Premier episode of " Batman " ." You don't see that kind of thing anymore and a technically a crossover where one show introduces another in this fashion .
Great show! One of the best! People don't know Melody Patterson aka wrangler Jane was only 15 and 16 when she made the show. She lied about her age and told them the truth when season two started and they still keep her at Larry Storch and Forrest Tucker's insistence
I was in the army. I remember when we were in formation and a commanding officer would make stupid jokes, everyone would fake laughter. There were companies I was in, where the first sergeant ran the company and the captain did little next to nothing because he did not know what was going on. There was always some old guy like Duffy who never made it beyond staff sergeant who always talked about how the army was years ago when he first joined.
I had the same experience in Decon Platoon Ft McClellan, Chemical School in 1970-1971. I was platoon clerk and I assigned who was going to do what for the day. I ran the duty roster and all our illustrious captain did was to sign my work. He never looked at the entire time I was there. He never paid much attention to the classes we served. The master sergeant ran the show when things got screwed up the captain just sat around with his hands in his pocket with a stupid smile on his face. I just loved that assignment. It reminded me too much like F Troop.
RIP Larry Storch... This was a funny guy... Love this video showing his range, lol. Thank you Larry... Always had a good laugh after a Yankee game on WPIX channel 11in NYC, albeit always in Progress...lol
@Jennifer Bice I agree with that 100%! I don’t like vulgar humor either. I would be embarrassed to share a favorite episode with others if it contained vulgar humor.
The Americans don't produce much in the way of really good-quality family comedy, but F-Troop was up there with the best. It was also ground- breaking as portraying Native Americans as likable characters, on the same comedic level as the rest of the cast.
"Granny Agarn in Passaic", lol. We got a kick out of that when watching this as kids-we live in Passaic County NJ and the city of Passaic is close by. One of my favorite episodes was Paul Lynde as the "Burglar of Banff-ff."
I remember watching this show as a young child. One of the funniest shows ever. Silly as can be but it sure had me laughing like crazy. Funniest line ever was "It is balloon". LMAO.
I enjoyed watching F Troop back in the 60s. No doubt this show was head of its time. It's a shame this comedy westerns show only ran for two seasons. I feel for the kids today who have practically nothing of value to see (on tv) these days.
I miss that show it was exploring the west with your boots on your hat in place and your laughter in tact lets all go to the y'all come back saloon😮❤!!!😅😂😊
R.I.P. Larry Storch who passed away today at age 99. This was such a good tribute to him as Corporal Agarn on F Troop!
I just found out last week. Literslly three and a half months ago my brother by proxy said "LS is still with us" and then he must have passed soon after. A great comedian. Just discovered him on Car 54..brilliantly funny there too.
Great comedy series , bad Warner Bros. management decision to cancel this wonderful after two seasons.
At 99 years of age Larry passed away from this life in July 2022. Thank you Larry for all of your wonderful entertainment over the years. Now you can be reunited with your buddies from F-Troop!
RIP Larry!

The 60's was the Golden Age of television. So many excellent shows of which F-Troop was one.
I agree. They were so much better than the shows on TV today.

Some times I wonder 🤔
What would the writers
think about all the political content they would have to cut ✂️ out..
Oh the good old days when we use to play cowboys & indians.
We never missed an episode. Loved that show.
He was so funny. Rip
Agree, gunsmoke, laurel and hardy, the 3 stooges, red skelton, the hooney mooners , lucy ball, etc.
R.I.P. Larry Storch. He lived to be 99, God bless him. Agarn always reminded me of a cross between Mickey Dolenz and Gilligan.
I definitely see the Mickey Dolenz..not so much Bob Denver. Wonder if he could wail?
I love this show. Always have and always will.
RIP, Larry Storch. So many wonderful roles, cameo appearances, and animated voices. I remember F Troop fondly, and Agarn was my favorite. Happy Trails to the last member of the cast.

I also liked Bob Steele as Private Duffy, the lone survivor of the Battle of the Alamo.
I read that the reason for it being cancelled was that when it went to color episodes the studio/ network said it was too expensive to make more 😪☹
I loved F Troop. A great show that should have been on longer.
I do agree. They really should have left it alone. It did have quite a niche following, probably right in the demographics that the advertisers were interested in reaching.
I agree with you 💯%!
The old man died and the son took over studio. He thought was too expensive and canceled. Kid must have been an idiot
I suspect John Wayne wasn’t a fan.
Loved it!!! Take me BACK!!! Corporal Agarn!!! R.l.P. 🙏🏼✝️
I'm 65 and I actually remember this exact show
I am 70 and I do also remember of it
Larry Storch was a GREAT improviser!
Only he could have pulled of imitating George Washington.
I think police academy used a similar idea. Make a bunch of loveable loser characterswith interesting idiosyncrasies and put them altogether.
I mean he was a standup comedian
I forgot how very funny they all were!!!!! I love all of them!!!!! They're great!!!! I miss that show so much!!!!!
F Troop lives on and forever! “Agarn I don’t know why everybody says your so dumb”. “WHO SAYS I’M DUMB?!”. Classic! My most favorite comedy time lapsed response in history! ::)
RIP Larry...Comic Genius!!!!!!

@S Rice
Awesome! 2021 and still watching :)
These are so un PC today, they wouldn't dare show them. My daughter would watch them with me at 6 years old. We celebrated her 30's yesterday and recalled the song. I sent her this one.
I guess you're right about the PC thing. But the thing about F-Troop was that the writers never punched down. Everyone was a goofball.
So Larry Storch was in the Navy alongside Tony Curtis. I always liked Larry. Even did a great Cameo in The Great Race. Long Live Larry!
"NOW, can I have me some fightin' room?!"
I believe he is still alive! Search YT "Larry Storch interview" He's like 80 something now;)
Love F Troop. All that cast was great. Agarn/Storch was perfect in the role.
El Diablo
This is the first time me really watching,my Dad watched I just really only had time to listen to the song as I got ready for work!😂😂😂😂
One of my all-time favorite shows! Forrest Tucker played so well alongside Larry Storch! The rest of the supporting cast was great too! Larry Storch was in a class all his own. I ABSOLUTELY love this show!!!
I used to luv this show when I was a young fella and still do . Hilarious
I agree with you 💯%!
Happy 96th birthday, Larry Storch. 😆
He did a lot of voiceover work on many animated series such as The Underdog Show.
I recall him being in a movie 🍿 named “ The Great Race ! “. He was brilliant in that movie. I read recently that he had passed away sadly 🥲! I too watched “ F Troop “as a kid ! Thanks for posting this TH-cam!
Larry Storch said in an interview that even recently he will be out in the public and someone will shout "Hey Agarn!" and he gets a kick out of it.
R.I.P. Larry. It seemed like you would never leave us.🥲
That was a damn funny show! It and Hogan’s Heroes were my favorite way back in the day. Channel 38, Boston, home of the Bruins!
One of the prettiest actresses, melody Patterson. I was in love
I loved f troop and watched every episode.
Me too; purchased the cds of both seasons years ago.
Thank you so much for this post. I think more people are getting it because of posts like this. I always got it. Again dancing, and turning on those Indians was sidesplitting. Larry was special. He was I that top tier..Dangerfield ,Pryor, Rickles. People that make you happy for a while
all these 1960s sitcoms - I watched with my kids as they grew up. I remember some almost verbatim No lie.
Rest in Peace Larry Storch.
Very very underrated series. Love F Troop
Remember the family crying with laughter over a sequence where they are trying to fold up a map. Loved this series.
I laughed out loud through ALL this and I havnt seen it since the 1960's lol, great writing and comic acting, Im going to see If I can buy them?, thank you poster
F troop great show I wish they made shows today like they did n bring back some of these shows
He was great fun in F Troop, what a series that was.
my favorite show when I was a kid. remember all their names
Excellent episode from F. Troop !
"Fort Lee, Salutes Fort Courage"
Sono cresciuto con questa iconica serie!!!grazie per averla condivisa
I love this show 😄 I grew up watching this program! My favorite characters was the Sargent, Corporal Agon, Dobbs, Vanderbilt, Chef Wild Eagle and Crazy Cat!
Happy 95th birthday,Larry Storch😝
When I was in Marine Corps boot camp in the 80s, our drill instructor used to call us “F Troop” lol. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
He must have had a sense of humor! Lol
It’s bad enough you had an “Agarn” in the outfit, but did you also happen to have “Gilligan” too?
I guess that’s drill instructor watched F Troop back in the late 60s
If there were no Wrangler Jane and no Chief Wild Eagle, there’s no show!
Loved the show so much when I was a kid. Have both seasons on DVD
Amazing most of those shows, Gilligan, star trek, this one and many others, only were on a few years, and look how long they lasted, being so funny
I enjoyed a text exchange with Mr. Storch on Facebook not long ago where he shows a very active lifestyle. Thankyou for that loved F Troop when I was a kid - it's still funny 🤣
RIP … Larry Storch….🙏🏾🙏🏾
Never missed this, as a kid. Funny stuff.
Great comedy. Unheard of in todays tech. No swear words . no sexual Iimplications .good tv
Larry Storch, Forrest Tucker, et al -- great broad comical perfomances. And such a wonderful storytelling theme song!
I remember an episode of F Troop with Harvey Korman as a Prussian Balloonist .
The seen where Harvey asks the Captain if they have a batman in the United States ???
Captain Palmiter said " No , not at this time but someday we might have a Batman .
Then came the commercial and the first one was " Stay tuned for the Premier episode of " Batman " ."
You don't see that kind of thing anymore and a technically a crossover where one show introduces another in this fashion .
Larry Storch was just brilliant.
What talent! He was a walking cartoon...lol
My favorite show as a kid and still enjoy it today. He was a gift!
Great show! One of the best! People don't know Melody Patterson aka wrangler Jane was only 15 and 16 when she made the show. She lied about her age and told them the truth when season two started and they still keep her at Larry Storch and Forrest Tucker's insistence

Greatest slapstick of my childhood!!!
Who says I'm dumb? RIP Larry Storch 1923-2022
Best childhood tv moments EVER!❤
Just hearing the theme makes my heart 😊
One of my favorite video to watch ^-^.
I don't know why this crazy theme song popped into my mind at 2AM!❤ Time to go onto TH-cam to go down memory lane!❤😂❤
RIP Larry Storch...
This was a funny guy...
Love this video showing his range, lol.
Thank you Larry...
Always had a good laugh after a Yankee game on WPIX channel 11in NYC, albeit always in Progress...lol
Again-the best character of F-troop❤️
He can really make me laugh without trying to be vulgar. That's why I like him.
@Jennifer Bice
I agree with that 100%! I don’t like vulgar humor either. I would be embarrassed to share a favorite episode with others if it contained vulgar humor.
Please put more entire episodes of this great great serie.
The Americans don't produce much in the way of really good-quality family comedy, but F-Troop was up there with the best. It was also ground- breaking as portraying Native Americans as likable characters, on the same comedic level as the rest of the cast.
I've got this episode on dvd they are hilarious
RIP Ken Berry , Capt. Parmenter
I loved this show. Wish it was still on.
"Granny Agarn in Passaic", lol. We got a kick out of that when watching this as kids-we live in Passaic County NJ and the city of Passaic is close by. One of my favorite episodes was Paul Lynde as the "Burglar of Banff-ff."
Me too, I lived in Clifton
He was great in F Troop, and great in Married with Children. He will always be remembered and missed!
Loved that guy!!!
I'm 58 raised watching them
Larry was fantastic on probably one of the greatest comedy series ever
Jane was 16 when she started in the series. F-Troop was the best!
Larry now 96 and still going
This show was a gem!
Agarn is my favorite charater. He is also my aunt's favorite, too. 😝
I like him too!
@Jennifer Bice 😊
F-Troop has always been HILARIOUS!❤😂❤😂❤😂❤😂
This was a great show.
That theme song is montypython worthy up there with I'm a lumberjack and brave sir Robin
The native blonde woman is the beautiful Julie Newmar who played the first cat woman in the Batman comedy show in the 60s.
Before they explode with a bang and a boom...F TROOP!!
I remember watching this show as a young child. One of the funniest shows ever. Silly as can be but it sure had me laughing like crazy. Funniest line ever was "It is balloon". LMAO.
REST IN PEACE SIR , GOD SPEED
This is excellent! Comedy with class! Comedy with comedy in it! Today’s comedy shows are NOT funny AT ALL.
I enjoyed watching F Troop back in the 60s. No doubt this show was head of its time. It's a shame this comedy westerns show only ran for two seasons. I feel for the kids today who have practically nothing of value to see (on tv) these days.
I would rather watch F Troop over and over than anything that is on TV today. Clean, funny, and untainted by political correctness.
Agreed
also, Reality TV ruined Prime Time Television
Agree!! Any show from the 1980's and before was better than the programming of now!!
You are so right about that!
Re: the dirty corrupt Democrat party.
We loved Corporal Agarn he was one of our favorite characters Larry Scorch played . He was hilarious and failed to make my family and I laugh.😅😂
Love this show! :D
Great statement these shows were one in 1 million they were wonderful growing up with all this town
Larry Storch is 94 and wlil appear at Wild West City in NJ this month! Wish I could go!
Mrs Chester wow that is absolutely amazing, go you good thing !
Oh Storch is still alive? Thank you.
Harriett Randall : Yes, he’s now 97.
sitting in Stubenville Ohio watching this
How come the episode went from black & white to color around 5:10-5:14?...
I thought 'F-Troop' was in black & white.
Season 1 was in black and white then in Season 2 it went to color.
My favourite tv show ever!!! 👍😂🤣💙🇦🇺
Hollywood cant make a decent show no a days. They seem to make trash n try to sell it
Television has gone to the gutter .
Because their masters are too busy telling them to make shows that promote promiscuity, and anything that will control viewers minds forever
I miss that show it was exploring the west with your boots on your hat in place and your laughter in tact lets all go to the y'all come back saloon😮❤!!!😅😂😊
Larry Storch kept us kids cracking up!!❤😂❤😂❤😂❤😂❤😂❤
I laughed at the intro just as much as the show.
The brilliance and scope of Larry storchs acting is missing in todays shows. Missing also is shows of this comedic caliber
