I have a few of them. I can squeeze the frame right under the trigger bar and slide release. Both gen 1 and 2. Give it a shot to see what I'm talking about. It flexes too much and isn't really robust. They're nice cause they're the only available 80%'s but they don't inspire much confidence for me.
