I’m assuming the dash cam isn’t available in the US? Have wondered for a long time why we have to purchase clunky aftermarket dash cams on cars that contain so many cameras. Now I just have to wonder why genesis would omit such a useful feature from their cars in the states. Boo!
To have that in the u s full of a holes, you need to paint full body disclaimer on both sides, in 5 languages, visible for the color blind, with accompanying braille and proximity announcement ... Or prepared to have your sorry @rse sued off
Genesis didn't decide not to offer this in the US. The federal government will not allow it. BMW, Mercedes, and Audi all have built-in cameras recording 360° around the vehicle. In the US, the Gov doesn't allow you to access these cameras or the video. Even the new Corvette has what's called a track cam. You can record your laps at a track. But you can't use it to record anywhere else.
@@jamesmcd71 The C8 Corvette has a PDR useful for recording track laps, but you can also use it as a dashcam, as I’ve been doing for the last 2+ years.

The wing logo is used by many different manufacturers. Mini Cooper, Aston Martin, Bentley, Chrysler, and more! Just to name a few. Do your research.... 🙄🙄
Why can't automakers offer face recognition as well as voice recognition? That way, your car recognizes your face as you walk up to it and by greeting it, it also recognizes your voice to verify. Only when those two don't match that it asks for your fingerprint. You don't waste time by having to swipe your finger.
Hi Andy, thanks for commenting. You are right and I think this concept is definitely down the pipeline. Companies like Volvo use it inside the car to track drivers face mainly for safety issues but they have the tech in place. One simple software update could do what you said. So let's wait and see, do subscribe if you like the content :)

That rear wiper should be hidden under the rear top spoiler. Other than that, a perfect SUV.

Unfortunately many hidden features like the dash cam unlock is not available in most countries. Genesis only shows it in Korea and Russia.
Purple leather interior is only available with 2.5T Advanced. You can tell it's not a Sport package by the ugly steering wheel.
