There's a small picture of a record player amongst the collage of pictures on The Jam's Sound Affects album sleeve....There's also one on the back cover of their single Start. Nice video, got me thinking.

This is why some people make videos and some don't, I couldn't think of a single one even those that you showed that I have.

And this is why I post videos so infrequently: 30 minutes recording them, but 3 weeks wracking my brain for content. 😂

Interesting topic. The British fusion band's second album "Visitor 2035", released on Hansa in 78 has an abstract illustration (a tonearm dropping down on the rings of Saturn or something like that)

Nice artwork on that one. I'll look out for a copy. 👍🏻

I found a lot with records on the cover, but the player was missing. Also, jukeboxes were plentiful. Here is a small list of mostly non-rock ones I found in my collection . Where there's life... (Russ David), Magoo in Hi-fi, 12 Top Hits (on the budget Tops label), We like Bands (swing big band comp on the Coral label). Lastly, Doin' the Woo Hoo with King Uszniewicz & his Uszniewicztones, which was actually Cub Koda (of Brownsville Station). If you are not familiar with the latter, look up the story behind the project, it's pretty hilarious.

There seem to be quite a few easy listening / orchestral jazz LPs that feature record changers on the cover. I think it probably ties in with that late 50s/early 60s aspirational bachelor pad lifestyle. Nice bit of product placement on the Russ David sleeve! Love the Magoo artwork! King Uszniewicz sounds like one to sample after a few beers.

That is definitely a unique topic! I'm not sure I have any records with a turntable on! That Tull record back cover is awesome! I had downloaded the J5 album, but had never seen the cover. Very cool. I'm gonna see what I can find in my collection. It's a great video idea.
Enjoyed! Enter my contest, BTW. Your blind buys, as with anything I see on your channel, are bound to be interesting! th-cam.com/video/QgBe-O-5SaY/w-d-xo.html
