My father, Vernon Cook, had the mine located overlooking the town. He ran a water line there all the way from the pine tree covered mountain in the distance which seemed like about 30 miles. He passed in 2008.

Had the opportunity to install a cellular home phone for a nice lady there in about 2004. I actually had cellular service from our Montezuma Peak tower that worked in Gold Point. Enjoyed viewing the town and connecting them with the outside world.

Very good again , proper research excellent content, still shocked at the lack of subscription, there’s some total crap out there with many more ,

Robin, I agree. The amount of viewers vs subscribers doesn’t make sense to me either. Thanks for the kind words

are not sheep or antelope. Instead, their only living relative is a species of Chamious, living in the Euopean Alps. But when I refer to them as such, my hunting buddies look at me and say, " You always got to be different, dontchya Tom". I fell like Mr. Spock".

Great town was there in oct 2019 stayed behind the saloon and camped 2 nights love all the extras of the town you show and history and took a lot of pic in doing so. a local miner was trying to sell me some GOLD from one of the local mines .This guy was a worker not owner. Thank you for the extra adventure 🤔⛏️
