you could do an ASMR crossover video where you record fire-pit sounds, rain sounds, bird-calls, and generally narrate in a very whisper-like, soothing tone.
Long time ago on our first trip up Slide, the autumn views were incredible. We then did a hard core mid-winter backpack campout on the summit with over 18" snow. Back then the trees were much smaller and the summit offered clear views north towards Overlook and Kaaterskill High Peak and east over the Ashokan to the horizon. Amazing to see how tall the trees are now blocking that view.

Sick hike ! Planning to go there this weekend, quick question. Did you guys do a bear canister or bear hang when you went ? Heard bears found out how to break into canisters nowadays lol

Slide Mountain Trail was really nice but a bear to get up.
