I wish there was an option of having the missiles white and the monoeye green so we can have the unit that aided the Gallus S on boarding the Nahel Argama. Probably with some paint it'll look better than the red.

Having one video explain color accuracy so I know where to paint is a godsend. Better than scrubbing through Unicorn and ZZ episodes and Google images. Thank you Kakarot
Lucky. I just found out about this kid today, because Bandai is releasing a yellow variant it in Jun-Jul. it’s sold out every where and people on EBay is selling their pre-order for $80-120. Even this version cost just as much as the yellow variant on the second market.
@@mrdude88 There's some cases where the premium variants are easier to come across than the standard retail version. Gundam Airmaster was another kit that had this problem. The yellow ZZ Zssa sold out on Pbandai US within 4 minutes of being up. The sleeves version will be reprinted eventually, Bandai reprints kits monthly, however they have nearly 300 high grades and 200 master grades to choose from so it always seems random. This is a platform that should avoid melee at all costs. Keep distance to either pepper the enemy with occasional shots, or fire a full salvo before retreating to reload at the mothership. If you're using beam sabers... you've already signed your life away. And don't go getting into dogfights with the gun. If you get hit in one of those pods... Well I hope that you wanted to go out with a bang. TLDR Harass or blitz and run.
Approximate mathematics. Roughly 76 missles. 22 on the back unit. 6 in the chest. 6 on the wrists. 12 in the thighs. 20 in the shins. For a mass production machine, this should be enough ammo to murder even low tier plot armor.
Love this kit. Loved painting it, love modding it, but comparing it to Iron Blood -Ptui! This MS was around way before iron blood and it's more to one of those Macross missile barrage mechs.

Damn, I want this figure. Too bad on eBay it cost like $80-120. And the yellow variant (the one I really want) cost just as much and it’s not even released yet.
In my school vr game that thing is a surport unit when doing the unicorn gundam destroyer mode boss fight in the campaign and during the fight there's a rare spawn of the heavyarms
Gundam Suits from 00 usually have the shield hardpoints at the front of the arm. Top of my head I can remember Exia, Astrea, and even Nadleeh. Many of the other GN-powered suits in 00 also have these hardpoints that act as general weapon hardpoints.
This MS has so many missiles it's a hazard to itself. It's basically like strapping yourself to a bomb. One minor hit from the enemy and then BOOM! LOL.
62 missiles.... A Vietnam era AH1-G with a full dumb fire rocket pod load carried about 72-76 FFAR HEAT rockets, given that spamming rockets meant to Kill/Severely Disable their respective Targets (Tanks/MS) are a basic attack method of Helicopter strikes from before ATGM era, this Zeon MS is basically an Attack Helicopter in MS shape
It was also meh piloting the yellow version of this thing in Gundam Battle Universe. Non-stop missile barrage, and you hope some of them hits that fast moving MS you're fighting before it sneaks up on you and delivers a melee beatdown on your not-so-maneuverable ass. I felt safer in a GM Sniper II or a Gelgoog.
is the shield not able to be mounted closer to the wrist? the way the arm is molded kinda suggests that it is possible, unless that puts a lot of stress on the brace.
a lot of sort comings but i think its still neat and if you're willing to do some custom work it would be a great looking kit, with a unique silhouette
I think the side flaps on the thrust pack are supposed to be airbrakes like with actual fighters, albiet, kinda useless if this thing was in a zero-g enviroment
Dude, there are 66 missiles on that thing! Also, I had to add up the missiles on the back, arms, and chest and they equal 34 missiles! The 32 in the legs were not really needed!
compare the Zssa to Macross's armored valkyries... especially the macross frontier version since early versions are stuck in battroid mode. in Gerwalk mode, armored valkyries look like the Zssa hunched over... then missile spam begins.
Given the military uses green because they usually are on ground and thus hide with grass colors, a space faring mecha might need other colors for camouflage. Same with fighter jets, US fighters then to have that cloud grey color. Now, what color would make sense for space?
White for dispersing and deflecting heat quickly. Its why spacecraft are white. Doesnt really matter what color is given to a spacecraft since youll be fighting your enemy in space beyond visual range.
What do you think of the theory that mobile suite technology at least in terms of pure performance stalled for the entirety of UC after CCA? Dose it sound reasonable, or am I just stupid?
There is no way the tech is stalled. Just a few years after CCA, we have *psychoframe* technology in Unicorn that can turn your MS into god-mode. We have *Minovsky flight* tech in Hathaway's Flash. We have *beam-shield* and *miniaturized MSs* in F91. And then we have *beam-rotor* and *Wings of Light* tech in Victory.
If there is one thing you gotta praise Unicorn, is that it brought back some older kits that would be painful to get otherwise.
Neo Zeon MS engineer: So how many missiles should we equip on the Zssa?
Zeon Commander: Yes.
actuall answer to that question is "all of them" lol
68 missiles baybee
its a ms portable macross missile massacre
"How many do we have?"
Gundam heavyarms, am I a joke to you?
Walking ammunition explosion.

You can mount the shield brace a bit lower aswell to keep the arm articulation free.

Y'know what? The Zssa makes the Always Bulky Zaku III look... not so bulky.
Exia's shield connects to the front of the arm
Wait...why can't you put the shield on the lower circles on the forearm? I swear I've done that with my yellow version of the Zssa.
the amount of missiles is comparable to any armored valkyrie or a queadluun-rau
Armored vf31s has way more missiles, but zasa is still cool though
i'm mostly impressed by your ability to pronounce some of these names

Back in the day ,l had the yellow version, but it wasn't as detailed as this one, NICE!
I wish there was a way to mount the launchers directly on the shoulders just like in Unicorn.
The hard part:
Print all missile bays from red to black.
By the way, gj on introduce the HGUC models, I thought everyone prefer the Wing or Seeds.
Hey wheres the kampfer shotgun?
I think the side flaps on the thrust pack are supposed to be airbrakes like with actual fighters, albiet, kinda useless if this thing was in a zero-g enviroment
A wise builder once said; don't judge a Dom by it's knee articulation.
dang, this mono eyed lizard got so many missiles! I love it!
I wish that this kit would come with an alternate parts and accessories (for the unit that has a shotgun) that would be awesome and worth 2,400 yen.
Could you not attach the shield to the lower set of holes to preserve articulation?
I absolutely love the zssa
the only other MS i can think of that uses a front-mounting shield is the Exia, and it's similarly limiting on her

This is pretty neat, though the stickers would probably make me hesitate on this unless I saw it on sale.
With the right pilot... This MS can be very dangerous!!
Why is the Zssa pretty short compared to the Doven Wolf and Zaku III? Not counting the booster that makes up the whole height of it.
