I will be trying to do this for the first time. I have done blankets, beanies, and ponchos. I still do not know how to read patterns but I want to try some wearables. just found you today so I will be binging on all your vids.
I am planning on starting this sweater today. Really appreciate the detailed explanation about the construction of the sweater and the full tutorial for reference! Thanks so much!
Hey! My name is Rivka and I just wanted to say that I really like your crochet patterns and your style. (: I actually made this sweater and i can say that i really enjoyed and it looks amazing! Thank you very much!
OMG YESSS thank you so much I've always wanted to make a pullover!! This is the easiest tutorial I've found thank you so much!! I can't wait to make it
Hey rachel! This is my second time making the sweater :) i do have a question. I’m using a 5.5mm hook because my tension was too tight for the 5mm. I’m starting the sleeves, but after measuring 8 inches on each size for size small, i only have 20 HDC on each panel. Not sure if i should just keep going or if i messed something up
Love this pattern! I am making a small but it seems big so far. My gauge is correct. Would you be able to provide the width of the ribbing and back panel for a small? I see the measurements in the pattern but I can’t seem to make them work. Thanks!
Making this sweater for my daughter. It’s almost complete. Only thing is when I finished each cuff, I ended at the base of the sleeve where it meets the ribbing/cuff. Both sleeves/cuffs came out the same. I made the Medium sized sweater. I will slip stitch or weave to the end of the cuff to start sewing the pieces together. 😬
How wide should the panel be for each size? I’m having to work with different yarn and hook size so I’m sizing it up against my body, but I want to make sure I’m doing it right
Hi Rachel! Quick question, please. I'm making this in the Large size with the finished width being 26-1/2". I just completed the back ribbing and found it only to measure 22". My gauge swatch for the sweater was right on for the stitches but a little off for the rows. I'd like to add another 1" to the length, so that's ok. As far as the ribbing is concerned, is it supposed to be a little less wide like that? I used a relaxed stitch for 86 rows. I'm not a tight crocheter. Would you recommend doing it over with a larger hook? Should the ribbing for each piece be the same 26-1/2" as the final width? Thank you!
Is it me but is this slightly beyond beginner? How can you tell which is the right side or wrong side? Just feel there are a few points that could be explained clearer. I do like the sweater though.
Could you teach how to crochet a round neck? I saw a sweater with a round neck, it looked so cool but there were no instructions so as to learn how to crochet the round neck.
Love the sweater! Im a little confused why mine seems smaller than yours, though. I have one sleeve left to make, but i just measured the sweater, and it looks to be a couple inches smaller. I dunno.. i know i dont have super tight tension.. and i used the same exact yarn. If i stretch it, i could technically make it wider…but i’m guessing you measure yours how it naturally lies flat.
What did you gauge swatch measure out to when you did it? Sounds like a tension issue or maybe your gauge was slightly off and you needed a bigger hook!
@@EvelynAndPeterCrochet thanks so much for replying! I think it will end up working out. I didnt do a gauge swatch :/ i didn’t realize you needed to if you have the same yarn as the pattern, but now it makes sense when you consider tension! Thanks again!
Hi I would love to start this pullover, but I'm a bit confused, if I am making a 3xl, I must have to chain more than 11 chains can someone help me please thank you Belinda xx
I just started this pattern yesterday. I finished the bottom ribbing for the back panel, and came here for support. It's my first sweater project.

I really like your site. But I don't have the type of yarn you are using. I'm using super saver Grey is that ok

Do you think feels like butta would have similar drape?

Can I use any kind of worsted weight #4 yarn

The 11 chains is just for the ribbing which is done across the bottom of the sweater.
How long did it take you to make your sweater? I’ve not made one before, so I’m curious what the time commitment might be.
probably around a couple weeks working on and off. But if you are new to garments and might take you a bit longer on your first try!
I really like the way you explain things. 🙂
Is it possible for you to make a tutorial like this for my favorite Valentina sweater by fiorelila? 🤗
Why would she do a tutorial on someone else’s pattern? She makes her own patterns.
@@charleneg.4053 Cause I'd like to watch it? :/
I wanted to look at your pattern on your website and I just showed me porn ads? What wrong with that? That's really not okay!
