✨Free Pattern - Weekend Snuggle Sweater - forthefrills.com/easy-crochet-sweater-weekend-snuggle-free-pattern Check out the free crochet sweater pattern! It has all the sizing info (sizes XS - 3XL), measurements, yarn amounts and alteration instructions ☺
This is lovely ! Your instructions are really clear and I LOVE how you state how many stitches should be at the end of the rows! Such a great help!! Thank you , from Australia 🇦🇺
Super beginner here. I just finished following along! Mine came out looking a little different than yours on me but it looks great. The hardest part for me was the sleeves and making sure I had the right patterns for each row as well as the amount of stitches. I saw another viewer had longer arms too and you suggested repeating Rows 2-4 so I did that and I love how it came out. I'm so proud that I tried this. Thank you for the amazing tutorial!
I love all of your patterns! You explain everything so well, and your designs are excellent, gving attention to sometimes-overlooked details, such as neck/shoulder shaping. I have lots of crochet sweater patterns, but this one is my favorite, because I can dress it up or down. I have already completed one sweater, using the yarn weight and needle listed in your pattern. I am enjoying it so much, that I am currently working on a second one; this time using a worsted weight (4) yarn and a 5 mm needle, to meet the gauge. Thank you for your time and generousity!
Ohmygosh!! I shopped for a yarn without wool since I'm sensitive and found that "Big Twist" 100% anti pilling acrylic yarn I found at Hobby Lobby works beautifully with this pattern!! Plus it comes in the same gorgeous color! I am pleased as punch and loving making this. This will be my first sweater I'm making for myself. Very easy beginner friendly and fast. Thank you more than words can say!!
Thanks for this info. Is this yarn discontinued ?? I cannot find it. Also, did your make it in size small sweater ? I need to make for My 11 year old granddaughter. Thanks for the info. 🙏🏾🙏🏾👍👍
Hahaha 😂 just be kind and patient with yourself and you'll be able to complete the majority of the projects on my channel as a beginner! If you'd like to minimise breakdowns 😅, I'd recommend starting with the Skylar Crop Top or 1 Hr Crochet Beanie. If you're looking for a beginner garment project check out the Briar Oversized Pocket Cardigan! You can also learn the stitches separately through the in depth tutorials on TH-cam and then try a garment project :) Grace :)
@@forthefrills i cant wear beanies it gives me a rash and my parents dont let me wear a crop top and ur voice is hard to follow and can you go slower and explain it more? i put it on the slowest speed and i still cant see or understand what ur doing
Thank you so much for this great pattern! I just finished mine yesterday and I'm really happy with how it turned out. I had to adjust the sleeve pattern to accommodate my chunky arms, but it all worked out ok.
Typical! Found this video after I finished making it! My first piece of clothing and am so happy with it, am already planning my next one in a different colour, thank you!
Thank you so much for this, perfect timing, as I’ve been searching for a cute functional sweater pattern. This is so beautiful !!! All of your work is incredible, keep up the great work !!!
I think it all depends what kind of yarn 🧶 I just started mine using different yarn than this pattern , I think i will need at least 8 skein of yarn .. this is my first sweater..
Thank you sooooo much for specifying if the first chain of new rows counts as a stitch! That always messes me up lol. Love your background, lighting, voice over, speed, yarn choice- the perfect videos to learn from. So excited to sub and maybe try some of your projects in the future!
I did this in large size for me in grey and it turned out excellent, I'm ever so pleased with it. Thank you so much for free pattern. It's very easy to do, so go ahead girls start now! I don't know how to share a picture here otherwise I would have.
I'm making this right now! Just completed the back panel and started the front panel. Can't wait to do sleeves and stitch everything together. Fingers crossed, this is the second wearable I've made, the first being a tank top (no sleeves) 🖤🖤
Hi. Same here. I've been starting & stopping the video at the start of each row, each section, & also using the written pattern to make sure I get it right. Lol. That's the way I learn these patterns.
New here! So excited to make this beautiful sweater... thankyou so much for the work you put into this video and showing how to do each of the different stitches... thank you Thankyou thankyou 💓 💖 💗
Thank you so much for providing this for free! I made it for my best friend ^-^ I was so confused in the beginning because I had only made sweaters from the top down, and so I thought the beginning ribbing was the neckline lol!
You’re my favourite TH-cam crocheting star. I love your beautiful voice and accent. Thank you for sharing your pattern. My first crochet sweater is made following your exact pattern ( made many mistakes & has to undo many times but finally had it right). You definitely make it look so simple : ) Please keep them coming!! Lots of love from Canada.
Hi, I really enjoyed making this sweater, your instructions were very clear. I lengthened the arms to fit me but your pattern was easy to adjust. Thank you so much!
I'm working on this and now that I'm on the sleeves part, I'm wishing there's A modification for 1/2 or 3/4 length sleeves. I hope you would consider making patterns tops with elbow-length sleeves. I really appreciate your easy-to-follow tutorials and free patterns! Keep up the great work! 🙂
Thank you so much this is a great pattern! I made two of these one for my daughter and one for my daughter in law. they turned out great and made great birthday presents :) however i must be doing something wrong as i cannot get the sleeve count to match. i did what i understood to be the correct stitch adding but ended up with 57 stiches in total? guess i must have added a stitch somewhere - happened in both sleeves LOL!!!
beautiful sweater!!...love the you make the ribbing...I've made one of your sweater..the ribbing looks very beautiful...can't wait make this one...love your tutorials..thank you for sharing!!
Actually I like it and the stared working on it But my problem , I mistaken the sizes , as my size can be M or L I want to know how to increase in each piece ☹️
Thank you for a great and easy to follow pattern. It’s a great stash-buster-project. Will do a turtleneck version though, as it’s supposed to be used in the stable/ for horseriding in the winter.
I am going to make this soonish.. I’m a beginner.. like just starting crocheting 😅 I’m getting a hang of the single crochet so I’m hoping I’ll be alright! Wish me luck lol..
Love this sweater!!, I made it for my daughter, all of the others are made with double crochet and they dont look very neat and nice as with different stitches like this one!!, can you make some others like this one but different stitches so we can learned and make them? Thanks so much!
Thanks for the really easy to follow video, really enjoying the process. I'm almost there, doing the first of my two sleeves. Did anyone find the sleeves to be short and if so, how did you increase the length? Did you repeat the process more than 6 times or did you do something else?
I just finished all the parts of this beautiful sweater and tutorial, I have one question ´ all the parts are whip stitch on the reverse side except the neckline ? I’m not sure .
Hi, base on the yarn used, the 4.5-5.5mm hook is recommended however you used a 6mm. I have a different brand of yarn but a DK Light 3 as well and the recommended is 4.5-5.5mm. Should I use a 6mm hook as well like you did?
I've recently learnt how to do single crochet and I find your instructions quite easy to follow.. still practicing as I'm a newbie but I'll be attempting this soon.. Thank you for the tutorial 😍😍
This is a great pattern. I modified the neck and gave it a split turtleneck. I'm curious about the sleeve length, though. I ended up repeating the last sleeve row for 20 additional rows, otherwise I would have ended up with 1/2 sleeves. Anyone else?
Google said DK weight was a 3 so after finding enough 3 in the right color I got stuck in. When I got to row 80 on the back it did not look long enough for a lady. Was I supposed to use a 4 weight? I’m using a 6mm hook like you said, I’ve learned more about yarn the last few days then I’ve ever known 😅

Congratulations! Isn't it just the best feeling when you put on your sweater and you made it yourself? :)
I wonded what size this pattern is?
Arnida Guillermo she made this in a small but the pattern on the website goes to 3xl
@@artymcfarty_4435 I cant find the pattern on the site, can you help out?

What weight is this yarn? Please
This is probably one of the most descriptive videos I’ve seen. I might try to make this!
Just bought this online. Wish I saw the video first because I am really bad with reading instructions. Will follow your videos from now on.
Is this ok for beginners, or will i have an emotional breakdown?
