Just became a finalist!! I'm a bit worried that my application writings aren't as strong as they can be. Do you think I apply thru questbridge or common app ?
Congrats! I think no matter which application you use the most important aspect is the content! I am sure that your status with Questbridge will be an asset either way!

Hi! Do you think applying test optional minimized your ability to be accepted into some schools? Also when doing Regular Decision, did you have to write different essays for each school you applied to or how does it work?
Hey! I think it hurt my chances applying test optional as a homeschooled applicant. However, if I had attended a traditional school I think it wouldn’t have negatively affected my application as much. For regular decision I did have more essays to write. I don’t know if this is still true but for the NCM some schools asked for fewer essays because of the time crunch, but if you applied for just RD then you had to do all the essays!!
Hi! I have a question. If I submit my ranked colleges before the finalist notification and am subsequently selected as a finalist, am I obligated to apply to the schools I ranked?
I ended up on a full ride scholarship at LSU(Ogden Honor's College), but I am in the process of completing the USC Trojan transfer plan so that I can transfer to USC in Fall 2023!!
heyy im currently a rising senior and currently brainstorming ideas for NCM but I feel stuck for the 3 main essays the biological and writing exercise i don't know what makes a 'good essay' everyone keeps telling me to write about me what makes me me but in what sense? I can't seem to figure out what to write

Thanks! From what I have read and seen from Questbridge first gen means your parents didn’t go to a four year college in the US!

Did you apply to other 30 universities with the common app or quest ridge?
Most of them were through the Questbridge application with a few exceptions like Cornell and Harvard. I hope this helps!
