Love it! Informative! Now how do you fold it back up?

What do you do if you don't have a bull bar on the front of the vehicle to strap on to?

Does this bolt onto the rooftop tent? If so what brackets did you use?

Hi Justin, it's mounted onto the cross bars on the canopy which allow it to sit neatly next to the tent shell. Hope that helps. Cheers, Kris

    - Couple of obs against this model -
    1) this version does NOT cover the full width of the rear of the vehicle in case of rain while it is open for cooking etc. so still need a frameless tail gate tent or side tarp for that
    2) Can't use in moderate+ winds - even when fully guyed out with 2 ropes on each pole, & a guy rope on each intermediate point between poles, anything over about 16-18kph feels unsafe to leave up because of the amount of flexing/movement, which is a pain if you are asleep or away walking when the wind comes up unexpectedly - having to fold it up at night & "just in case" etc. is a pain! Unlike a large camping tarp where you can lower the side profiles in windy conditions, the frame dictates the poles can't be lowered significantly. (plus cuts down significantly how often you can use/unable to rely on it for your basic camping set up)
+ Couple of obs FOR this model - in calm or almost calm ...
    1) easy for 1smallish person to deploy & refold
    2) apart from back hatch, good coverage in sun & rain, esp. with extra end piece added at the front
CONCLUSION: Because I still need to take/setup my frameless tail gate tent, I should have stuck to original plan to buy a small/medium side awning ... instead of falling in love with how easy this is to deploy, & thinking it could do both jobs!
