Can you do a video with the wall kit? I don't see one anywhere online... Would be nice to see set up, inside and outside once set up, and take down process
Hey dudes, would be great to actually show how you folded the awning fabric back up. I'm having a really tough time getting the cover to zip back up in a tidy fashion (and i can fold a fitted sheet...so you know I'm legit).
Facts. This thing sucks
Truth. Just bought this and mounted it and regretting it. Can't get it back into the bag. I've tried 5 times different ways. 😢
@@jasondubrow435 I’ve gotten better at it. I also took the front piece off instead of rolling it up in it.
@@Subie_OffXroad Do you roll it up or fold it? It’s a freaken mission getting it to zip back up.
@@jeffsmithfpv I fold it.
I’ll have to make a video of the “put back.”
Yea I struggled the first couple times for sure!
Need to know about that kitchen rugged box!!
It'd be stellar if the rolled up flap, once removed, could be attached to any other side of the 270 awning as a partial shade wall. Love this product, I'm almost sold...
you can
I love the awning, I have the same one, It is not easy to put away. Seems like the zipper is about to split and trying to "stuff" all the extra material is a pain, Mine is stuck with about 2.5 feet of exposed awning as I can't get the thing closed all the way.
Agreed. I had to remove the added wall to put away the awning.
Agreed, same problem and the one part they didn't show...
@@MrJStyer I ended up taking the addition off to fit in the bat wing itself and keep the addition and extra poles in their own stuff sack
I JUST BOUGHT THIS AWNING, AND I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM.
i want the kitchen , the one in the trunk !
Yeah where do you have that kitchen box at on ur website? I can’t find it anywhere. Did you guys build it up?
It's just a representation of what could be done with our Maxi Cases. This is the case that was used. ironman4x4america.com/all-weather-slim-rooftop-rugged-case-65l/
Does it bring a night light??
How long is it?
On the product page in the images carousel there is a full diagram with all of the product dimensions for you. ironman4x4america.com/deltawing-xtr-143-270-degree-freestanding-awning/
You should not advertise that it’s freestanding. You need the legs for it to work obviously
So it’s not a true freestanding awning?
It is free standing, but we include legs and guy lines for windy / rainy conditions to secure it and assist with water runoff.
There’s no such thing, they all have a recommended wind rating and advise to erect legs and guy ropes once this is exceeded
He packed it up opposite to the way he opened it up. Left arm was first thrn the right 3 arms. I'm still trying to work out which is the proper way to pack it up. The zip wants to burst.
I have just installed one of these awning on my FJ. It will be interesting to see how it goes.
