I loved my s210! Owned it for 13 years! I now have an s211, and I regret going to it. The engine that I had was an e280 4matic. 400k on it. But the car started to rust badly and I got rid of it for 10k. It had heated and ventilated seats. Memory, sunroof, parktronic, factory Xenon, which I recommend you to put on the car and ... love your content. It's really interesting! ❤😊
I have a friend who is doing a RWD conversion on his S210 and the front end of the car is totally different. Subframe yes but there is a decent amount of removing metal and fabrication that needs to happen. The front of a 4matic car is totally different.
What an undertaking!! Hope all goes well. I have a W221 and haven't had to do any engine work to it, the 5.5L m273 V8 in it is stout! Do the 'new' ventilated seats have fans or tie into the A/C ducting? On my W221 there's fans inside the seat cushions that circulate the cabin air throughout the seat, rather than tying into the A/C and blowing cold air. Will be interesting to see how that works on yours!!!
I had a 2010 E550 with the same motor and it was fantastic. On the 210 ventilated seats, they work the same way with fans that pull air from the cabin and push it through the leather. The air lines are for the seat adjustments like side bolster and lumbar.
Have w210 E55 donor car- want to do the swap with E320 s210. U recommend yes? Swap with 5.4 -trans -driveshaft - and rear AMG diff. That will work good right

Are you able to do the same swap in a 4matic wagon? I’m guessing it just needs a subframe swap to RWD, I would like to build one with a 6 speed
