Hey Andrew- Thx for sharing this video. U know what ur doing. Keep up the good work:-) I luv this car. It has everything you want in a car, Massaging climate controlled front seats, Huge Sunroof, Bangin' Burmeister system, leather everywhere, those lights at night- AWESOME!! I do drive spiritedly and this car is READY to deliver every second. The Comfort mode is great along with the adaptive cruise control when I'm highway driving and my mother-in-law thinks that the ride is very smooth. She has no idea what a BEAST it is:-) The trunk space is adequate when I'm taking 3 buddies/clients out golfing and for my better half & I going away for a week or so. Absolutely nothing wrong with car at all. Now the new S6 has an interior that will be light yrs ahead of the E 63S but for the next 3-4 yrs this is the car to have for me. Cheers from Vancouver Canada!! All the Very Best:-)
I have a 63 and I’m almost exclusively in comfort mode. Why? Because a muscle car V8, (especially one with a bassy exhaust note), sounds best at low revs. It brings out the creamy ‘woofle’ that is lost on not just other engine configurations but also something that is lost as the revs rise. It’s also why it’s a low rev torque monster and the competition like the Mx and RSx are not so much.
I’ve been looking for a new car and I’m considering the BMW M8, but I watched one of these smoke the M850i in a drag race. I really like the M8 interior, but haven’t had a chance to test drive one of these. I’m in the Portland area, I may have to make my way down to Wilsonville.
courgargold I will say the interiors on BMWs are very nice. I have always been an AMG fan though because they seem to have a bit more character than the M cars.
courgargold I bought my E63S in 2019 certified as it was one year old. I was torn between the M5 and the E63S, but to me the AMG felt less bulky, but I think it’s really just a personal preference and you couldn’t go wrong either way. I thought I’d prefer the interior on the Mercedes but BMW has done some awesome things with their interiors. Anyway, both awesome cars, no regrets with the AMG, but as most car enthusiasts, I’m always looking at other cars and test drove an AMG S63 coupe - absolutely beautiful.
I own one of these and the issue with driving on Sport+ all the time is the car will make you do some dumb shit. It sounds soooo good that it is almost impossible to resist against gas pedal when you are on Sport+. So you better don't trigger yourself.
I actually really like the RRS SVR. That engine is an absolute beast. The E63s will out handle and out pace the RR with out a doubt, but there’s something to be said about an SUV with that much horse power.
courgargold Honestly I couldn’t feel any. I recently drove the 2019 GLE63s with the M157 and noticed that had some perceptible turbo lag (although not much) but this M177 in the E63s reaches peak torque really low in the RPMs. Feels like the power is available no matter where you are.
Here’s a not cringe answer. It’s not a Ferrari. A ton of people will tell you that because its a Mercedes its expensive and parts are hard to find. It’s 2022 and there are tons of Mercedes on the road. They are much more reliable and parts are much more readily available. You’ll likely spend about 1500 a year on maintenance but that’s actually amazing compared to just 10 years ago. I spent about 2000 a year maintaining my 5.0 mustang with no problems or hiccups. Just oil and tires which i only ever changed once. These numbers are averages though, you will likely spend a lot less in a year but could spend more. If you purchase a service plan you can save even more money.
@@azatesz9001 go for the f90 m5 comp it’s insane bro tbh but you can’t go wrong with the e63…. I had both the e63 felt cheaper and not as well built as the m5…. And I’m mentioning the 2021 m5 comp it hits the spot !
My wife drives it in comfort mode. I call it daddy mode! Yeah, Sport plus is way cooler. The only thing cooler than this car is the super sleeper estate/wagon!
My dream car. Wish me luck guys 🤞🏽🙏🏾
Best of luck to you!

I am 43 and I mostly use C mode as well :)
Great video dude. You’re a natural. Such a sick car
Annihilates the competition. So nice. I did a lot of research before I got one. It’s the best car for the money on planet earth.
What about the M5 competition or CS?🤔
@@johnblack4915 late but that is a track car. E63 is a jack of all trades
That 4k though. 😍
It's nice! Thanks for the camera. =)
Good job, Andrew!
Thanks, Jake!
Nice video, bro! That's my dream car! Greetings from Bulgaria!!! Keep up the good work!
Thank you! I appreciate that!

The M8 is a lot more expensive and you don’t get value from it over an E63S.
Mercedes has better interior than bmw
How long did you keep this car? How was maintenance and repair costs? I love my 2017 s550 but would like something sportier. Thx. new sub.
Thank you for the review. What are your thoughts on the boot space?
Great review, e63s is so amazing 🤩🔥🔥🔥
Hey Andrew I would've liked a segment on car park spaces and just the general parking features.
Hey! I covered these features in my review of the 2019 E450 Wagon here: th-cam.com/video/5aRe55fjzQA/w-d-xo.html

@@TheAutoInformant 🤔 we gotta talk, bro! I haven't driven either more than 5 minutes. If you could only have one for 5-7 years...?
Kerun Bindra E63 all day everyday.
bruh i’m in the exact same boat between the two! lmfao that’s hilarious
Any turbo lag? Seemed like there was some hesitation when you stomped the throttle while rolling.

How’s the maintenance cost overall ?
15 miles per gallon. It’s going to cost you
If you have to ask don't buy it. This is a rich mans car.
@@JamesSmith-cm7sg these cars are 50 grand right now. Literally an every man’s car.

Excellent review thank you, debating between this or the F90 M5

the only thing I hate about the e63s is the turn radius
Same for my E53 and it's not even the same engine/perf
What about it?
it can only do one full turn of the wheel before hitting its limit. where as in say a C63 you can do 1.5/two full turns@@mohammedalshamsi6104
Comfort mode is for highways.
Absolutely. Especially with cylinder deactivation mode.
