    Pumpkin Pie Thanksgiving Dinner
    Pie Crust
    Ingredients:
1 1/4 Cups Gluten Free Flour ( I use Just About Gluten Free Flour)
    1/4 Teaspoon Salt
    1/2 Teaspoon Sugar
    1/2 Cup Cold Butter
    1/4 Cup Ice Water
    Directions:
You can use any cup for cup gluten free flour, I use Just About Gluten Free Flour. Mix gluten free flour, salt, and sugar. With a pastry blender add in butter. Add in ice water a little at a time. Form into a ball and then form into pie dish. Its now ready for your pumpkin pie filling
For non gluten free friends you can use the same measurements for the pie crust and just use your all purpose flour.
    Pumpkin Filling
    Ingredients:
    1 Unbaked Pie Crust
    3/4 Cup Sugar
    1/2 Teaspoon Salt
    1 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
    1/2 Teaspoon Ground Ginger
    1/4 Teaspoon Ground Cloves
    1 Teaspoon Pumpkin Pie Spice
    2 Eggs
    1 (15 ounce) can Libby’s 100% Pumpkin Puree
1 ( 12 Ounce) Can Carnation Evaporated Milk
    Whipped Cream (Optional)
    Directions:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Mix sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and pumpkin pie spice in Kitchen Aid mixing bowl. Beat eggs in a separate bowl, and pour into the sugar-spice mixture. Stir in pumpkin puree. Slowly stir in evaporated milk. Pour mixture into pie shell. Not all of it will fit and you don't want it to be overflowing, just pour to top of the crust rim. Bake at 425 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes. Reduce the oven temperature to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Bake for 40 minutes and the toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool on wire rack for 2 hours. Serve immediately or refrigerate. Top with whipped cream before serving!

You’re supposed to use the Pumpkin Spice instead of using all of the other spices I never heard of using them both 😱

@nanamjbri Hey! Thanks for stopping by! I know most people use the pumpkin pie spice in place of- I have used the pumpkin pie spice to substitute for all the others before, but in doing that you would need to use more than one teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice if you don’t use the others. By taking out the other spices and substituting only the pumpkin pie spice the flavor and taste of the pie will be slightly different. I’m only enhancing the flavor by also adding the pumpkin pie spice in! I’ve tried it both ways, and this way gives it the perfect blend, in my opinion. I also add this in with pumpkin bread even with all the spices. Just my opinion and the way that my family and me like it. 😋
