Another great video Jakub which in my case confirms that I will stick with Peerberry and Robocash despite the lower returns as I don't want any further increased risk.
Great video! I don't mind so much when interest rates decrease because the loan originator uses more of its capital because it translates to less risk (like Peerberry). But lately, I have been placing new capital on HeavyFinance. Their interest is very competitive if you can afford to invest higher amounts, as you mention on your video. I hope your shout out helps the platform and the farmers! Lendsecured is also another alternative, with lower interest rates but also shorter duration loans. And finally, GetIncome has 12% interest car loans, which still sounds like a good deal to me.
If you had to pick one, which one would you choose, Mintos or Estateguru? And which percentage of your savings would you invest? Thank you very much Jakub!!
Definitely EstateGuru. Due to the current economical environment I would invest a higher amount to keep the cash portion as low as possible as it becomes less valuable due to inflation.
If p2p has such high returns, why isn't it more popular? Like 10% anual returns is (from my small investment knowledge) a really high return so basicaly why shouldnt everyone just invest all their money into p2p? Is it purely just for diversification purposes?
There are a few reasons for this. 1. P2P lending hasn't been around for as long as investing in stocks 2. Stock brokers have much higher budgets than p2p lending platforms (which is why you will find more videos about investing with stocks together with affiliate links) 3. various risk factors have to be considered, and some of the p2p investors got already burned by some bad actors in the space Everyone should invest according to their means and financial goal. Meaningful diversification should make sense in any investment case.
If i can find an interest of 20% in foreign currency maybe i will invest, and hedge that currency against euro on forex 😝 but i still lose 3-4% a year in forex because of swap
