Aprill 15th 2022 costed $650 (yes it strayed dramatically from MSRP of $400 to over $600 today in 2022) - put it in my $200 HP Z600 dual socket (12 core) 3.4 ghz Xeon workstation (24 GB RAM). Yeah, I've been updating this computer for 6 years Ahahahahah including 2 1 TB SSD and more :)

This card with the 5600x is an amazing combo! Beast mode little pc. Not quit as good as my 5900x 3080ti Fe build, but works great for my driving rig pc. Love this combo!

I was planning on getting a 3080 but it seems like that will be almost impossible to get at msrp. I was lucky enough to get my hands on the ZOTAC RTX 3060 Ti for $487 (with shipping) but I knew I will be paying way more for a 3070 especially when its harder to get than a 3060ti let alone a whole 3080. It's a weird feeling having to settle with a weaker card but if anything I'd sell it for $440 or less in the future next year when things are actually in stock.
I also just sold my 980ti which was still a beast! This thing is gonna be nuts. Also just went from 3600-5600x can’t wait! This is a perfect pc for my driving rig. Main is 5900x 3080ti FE but I like to have two PCs..ps5 is collecting dust…gaming greedy!!!

The 900 series had the 970, the 1000 series hass the 1070 TI and the 3000 series has the 3060 TI has the best price to performance ratio on the market. All these cards launched at under $400 (inflation man, the 3060ti is $400 while the 970 launched for $339 a decade ago). You’re going to pay $100 less for the 3060 TI and in this market it’s more like 300 at least $200 less than the 3070 for 10% last performance which you can easily achieved through over clock in on some of the higher end cards of course it’s still not as good as a base 3070 but for the price to performance ratio to 3060 TI is by far the best card in the 3000 series
I have a chance to get one of these but I’m still running a i7 6700k / 1070 SC. I plan on upgrading mobo and cpu but how bad would the bottleneck be until I do upgrade in a month or so?
I got an i5-8400 with 16GB ram and a GTX 1060 6GB, maybe next year nearing the end I want to upgrade who knows, I live in the Caribbean so prices are stupid for hardware, it's prob gonna be an RTX 2060 Super to play on 1080p, (I've got a 1080p 144hz monitor). the 3060ti is more for 1440p res gameplay.
Hello Sir, I recently bought the 60ti OC zotac, is it normal that in most games I have the temperature between 70/80 degrees? it happens in triple A games and the zotac fans start making a lot of noise (I have the PC next to the monitor). I don't use headphones, you say I should use them? would solve the noise problem? or is there another solution?
Does this card have zero fan ability? I mean when under specific temp, do the fans of card spin or do they work when they reach a specific temperature just like Asus cards?
card runs great and has decent temps but if you dont like loud cards then shy away from this one. its loud asf and has a constant buzzing bc the fans are very very bad

Sadly it's because the card requires more cooling than the heat sink and fans require so no there pretty much is no fix unless you mod the fans

On our test bench we have 1000W but 650W will be fine, it all depends what else you are powering though!
the temp is around 75°C (2400rpm) at 31°C ambient temperature, it's just a little bit loud for me

The OC version does but the base version doesn't. You can flash the bios of the base to give you the zero fan but it voids warranty

Yep, that'll work fine. 6+2 is just so you can use either 6 pin or 8 pin. I have this card, works fine off a 6+2 pin.
