The Apple Pencil won’t work with that screen protector on the iPad lol, I mean it can but all straight lines will be wavy. It’s best to get a thin plastic screen protector. I know, I’ve tried. Hopefully you didn’t spend more that $15 on any screen protector

I love this setup! I just got my iPad Pro 12.9, combo touch case and pencil in myself! I’m loving it so far ☺️ still learning how to setup good notes and all that but I’m excited to learn this more and add it to my everyday routine

The combo touch is a very expensive keyboard like 230 bucks however I've had it this entire time and it's still a very great case. Being able to detach the keyboard is an awesome feature so it is worth it there. I want to say the total cost for the ipad was somewhere in the ballpark of 1200 cause I used the student discount as well. I do like the pencil as well and use that every day :) got it off amazon for like 120. I use it every day for digital planning and it has helped a ton in my daily life and I love the form factor :) It would be a great birthday present!

I also draw a lot on it and never felt like I wanted a laptop at all. The only big downside is the absence of a keyboard, but even then, a good one will cost 100-250 dollars and it’s still way cheaper than a computer. Granted, I don’t use a lot of archives or edit software stuff, if That was the case, then yeah, Ipad is useless. My point is: it might not fit you, but damn does it work flawlessly for other people
