I started my art business when I was 13 and that’s exactly how. I bought my iPad Air 4 from saving up from commissions and selling stickers and postcards and such. I’m 16 now, I skipped a grade and I’m still using my iPad to curate a portfolio and apply to animation schools. Best $600+ dollars I ever spent (got the pencil for Christmas. It was so rewarded and saving up made sure I knew the time and effort I put into it, it ensured I’d use it. I can’t even explain how much it means to me. Your art is beautiful, never give up.

Pro tip- if u are gonna buy any device with a aluminium build always choose the silver (if it's available) because the aluminum's real colour is silver so it will save u from the paint removal over the time

This is not the latest Apple iPad, but it is faster than I thought. It has a great screen and it holds a charge pretty well th-cam.com/users/postUgkxhcEDB3r-OJ3_X5hQzr7k1ZofTQy1ao_U . I was concerned that it would not be powerful enough because I have several older iPads that are slow and cannot update to the latest software. But this 10th Gen has the speed and power. I do not use it for video editing, so having an M2 processor is not necessary for me. This iPad model has an A14 processor. So far so good. Glad I bought it. It helps having a larger screen compared to my Apple phone.

It’s easy for people who have disposable income to say “you just need to work for it” or “you just need to work harder,” but a lot of the time people can’t afford these things precisely bc they aren’t necessities. These are luxuries, for some, and just purchases bc they have the income for it without having to worry about bills, for others. Not to shame the person in the video, but buying an expensive iPad with three different cases, loads of accessories and stationery items is not the norm for the majority of people. But also not to shame the people who cannot afford these things.

Yes, I absolutely agree with you that if the means are possible, then someone can maybe work a few more hours and save up some money to buy this if they want/need it. My point was to just gently remind you that there are people with circumstances that don’t allow them to possibly save up more money from “working harder” because they’re already working as hard as they can and maybe living paycheque to paycheque. Also, some people can’t overcome the gigantic obstacle that is poverty. I’m not sure which country you’re from, but countries like the US and Canada, it’s really hard to get past the poverty line because the system has put certain people within it and expects them to stay there. And that’s due to a load of factors; socioeconomic status, race, lineage, what neighbourhood you live in, what school you went to/ level of education, etc. I had no intention of putting you down at all. My only intention was to remind you and possible other people that these kinds of hauls and unboxing videos, while very fun to watch, are not the norm for the everyday person who might be struggling. I’ve been trying to buy this exact ipad (but with only 256 storage) for two weeks now. I’m having the most frustrating experience with it but I am excited to eventually have it and start using procreate! I have it on my phone but it’s just too small.

I've always wanted one of the slightly newer Ipads since the one that my family has is from years ago and doesnt even work, but i've always been too scared to asked so yeah😑
If these one thing you need to know, it's that the case you use for your iPad isn't protecting it at all, as my iPad was in my back once and my back fell from my shoulder on grass (there were towels in the bag too) and when I went inside and took my iPad out, it was cracked on the top left hand side and on the screen, then I got a new case and nothing like that has happened after, the new case I got protectects all sides and you should get a case like that too so that ypur Apple Pencil is also protected.
