Very nice looking pattern! And at a time when collectors seem to be complaining that knife companies have started etching instead of stamping, Rosecraft presents us with a tang stamp. Brilliant!👍
That's a great point David. Good to see the stamped tangs. I think most of us slipjoint lovers really prefer that, I mean if Schrade can do it, why not Case.
I have been very impressed with Rosecraft since they first started with traditionals. They are built right and to a level that is not expected for the price. Even though the price went up so did the fit and finish. Outstanding knives for the money. Now if we could get them to make a 2 bladed Trapper or a Stockman, wow! 😊
I look forward to their traditionals. I'm open to anything if it's attractively done. I'd be down for an equal ended jack with a drop point and pen blade.
A lot of the RRRs have been oversized, so it’s refreshing to see smaller/normal-sized knives. I wonder if this one will have a bigger brother, maybe in complementary stripes? That would be cool. I like the covers, but wish it was bone because I like bone (and there’d be more seconds. Lol.) Thanks for the look!
This would probably do well for a ladies hand comparatively speaking. Thanks, Su.
Hey Thrifty, I've had mine for a couple weeks and really like it. Just a nice, functional and nice looking, well made pocket knife. Roosecraft is my benchmark for quality and price. The covers do give me a 70s vibe. Thanks for sharing.
Yes indeed. The colors are a throwback to those times. Thanks, Ed.
I like those covers. It’s like a little party in your pocket.
I'm all for that, NorthStar! Cheers!
I’m a big fan of the Rosecraft traditional knives I have three in my possession now hope to add this one as well
They've been making some great slipjoints. A nice collection to have, Blinded. Have a great weekend.
Another nice knife from Rosecraft. Great review.
Great size for pocket carry. Well built too. Thanks, Dean.
It gives me Star Wars X-Wing vibes for some reason 😆
It’s a really great knife.
I like that we are getting some different cover materials… I except we will see more new materials as the year goes on.
Excellent review as always!
You a pro my brother 👊🏻
Hello my fishy friend, I think they've done a nice job with it. I look forward to some varied materials. Have a great weekend.
@@ThriftyKaniffy
I think so too.
You too brother 👊🏻
Also, bravo on the production quality!!! The pics at the end are a thoughtful and useful touch. The intro remains very cool.
Thanks, 5door. I'm glad you enjoy the production. I try to make an effort.
I like the funky G10… I have a Serape Kizer and it’s one of my favorite knives/patterns. Thanks for the review, TK.
Thanks for watching, ElCap. Rosecraft has been doing well with the traditionals. Here's to more success. Cheers
Man, I loved the rose etching. But they definitely should stamp the RC on the bolsters!
Yea I agree, it would take it up a notch if done well. Let's not repeat the Rough Ryder R bolsters though.
@@ThriftyKaniffy I meant where on the barlow and the bottom bolster these two models have and etch. It should be stamped so it lasts.
Nice review , enjoyed as always .Thanks to you I have 5 Rosecraft blades.
That's great, John. The make some quality stuff and I'm always a buyer when they put out something I like.
Really looking forward to mine, nice review pal.👍☘️
Hope you enjoy it, Paddy. Look forward to the review.
Nice no frills pocket knife. I bought an Appalachian Jack a while back which I like but I think it would look a lot better with that blade!
I think both are nice looking knives. I've got the Appalachian Jack as well.
Really good video and loving ur intro as always and the pic exit on knife…great editing
Glad you like it, I appreciate it. Welcome aboard.
Very cool knife, I like the retro feel to it. Thanks for sharing, take care and Cheers!
Thanks very much, Dave. I like the vibe this gives off. I can see it being a real conversation piece, eh. I appreciate you stopping in and hope you have a wonderful weekend. Cheers!
Even with Price raise , i really think they are worth as much as Case knives. My swayback is unreal
They let some out the door they shouldn't.
Sweet looking knife. Thank you for sharing with us bud.
Yes indeed, Jeff. I'm glad you enjoyed the presentation.
@@ThriftyKaniffy yep
FYI, the website says brushed steel bolsters. Makes sense since the color looks pretty identical to the stainless back springs. Personally, I love it.
Yes, you are correct. I flubbed that one. Nice looking all the same. Thanks, RayJ.
Beautiful knife! I agree it has that 60's color scheme.
Thanks for having a look, Rick. I really appreciate the quality build of this one. Well done Rosecraft.
I really like this one. I pretty excited about that bow trapper though. I definitely get those 60s vibe from it as well. Great vide John!
I figured you would like the skull shield on it. I'm looking forward more to the gunstock. I have a couple versions of the bow trapper versions from Andy already. Thanks, Randy!
Very nice retro looking design with those color stripes, thanks for the review, TK.
You bet, Jose. I appreciate the comment.
I love mine. Rosecraft is doing a great job on new knives.
Thanks for the feedback, Ken. They are making some great stuff. Here's to more of the same success. Cheers.
Excellent review John, not had this one long but I'm really enjoying it! The size is great for me but I agree the g10 is a little too slippy 😅
Slippy! Good to see you partner. I think you will grow fond of it by the time your review rolls around. Take care my friend!
Looks like a good knife. I may look into getting one. Thanks for sharing, Live Long Prosper and Collect Your Own Way!
Nuff' said. Thanks, Stan.
great looking knife! Thanks TK!
Thanks, MB. They should be available in the UK real soon. Thanks for watching.
The R.C. on the bolster stands for ...... " Replacing Case " .😂
After 10 rounds, Michael 10, Case 0.
Oh this made me smile WAYYYYY too much.
Very nice looking knife. Thanks for showing it to us. 👍🔪
Thanks for having a look at the Rosecraft RG. Have a great weekend..
Thanks for sharing that . 😊
You betcha. Thanks for taking a look at the Rosecraft.
Great review of this knife TK! I wish it was about $50 or like you said 3 3/4 inches would justify the price a bit more. It may be on the smaller side but it isnt as small as a Case swell Center! I will probably still get one even though I would have liked bone covers. Does have a nice 60's surfboard look and I really like the orange! Just Glad to see more coke bottles out there! Thank you for sharing!
Yes, it's not a pattern that can be found everywhere, like say a trapper. So that is a nice benefit. The colors do give me that old surfboard vibe. Thanks, Andrew.
Stunning festive scales..I need 1
A party in your pocket.
Thanks! This one looks very well maid!
It is and I'd love a maid. Thanks, Peppered.
Looks like a quality piece
It's been made to high standards. Thanks, Rick.
Certainly looks good build quality plenty of blade for the size however as you said a bit to small. the covers don't do anything for me but great to see variety, Rosecraft will have a big following me thinks.
Fair enough, Lewis. Thanks for taking a peek.
Excellent knife.
I'm glad you like it Rusty. It's very well made.
I like the rose craft but after shipping im well over 60 might as well go pick up a case usa at ace hardware in person are they ever on sale ? Thanks 😊
On a few occasions there's been sales on 2nds. Thanks, Joe.
Rosecraft is really nailing their slipjoints. making their non-GEC competitors look ridiculous.
I returned 3 knives from other makers today that were all $65 -$90 because the quality was either terrible (Case) or not good enough (Queen, Remington.)
It's a repeated theme from my viewers about the Case knives. I recently got a Sodbuster Jr. that was near perfect, but you have to cross your fingers just right.
@@ThriftyKaniffy I’m 4/4 for bad SodBuster Jrs, and thus gave up with the hassle 🤷♀️
@@ThriftyKaniffy yes I knew of your experiences with them, but surely MY experience would be different! Hahaha
Reminds me of going South of the border, 1970s when all the hippy surfers were wearing the Mex Ponchos...the locals would all marvel. " Why are the Gringos wearing mops"
Thats wild, haha. Thanks for sharing.
I love this knife
I appreciate your enthusiasm.
Beautiful knife, and just the right size for me for carry. Wish it were cheaper.
It's a wonderful knife. Small enough to use everyday. Thanks, gfweis
Nickel silver bolsters and pins instead of stainless is nice touch ✌️
I think they are stainless actually, I flubbed that. Thanks, Gaz.
Just a C hair to small for me but still a cool little pocket dropper good seeing you brother stay well John 😊
Yea just a touch small. Thanks, Jersey 👍
About to order one of these!!!! That is an absolutely dope knife and love the colors!
It sure is. Glad you enjoyed the review, H4H. Have a great weekend!
Awesome
Glad you like the Cane Creek , Brett. Thanks for having a look.
@@ThriftyKaniffy I plan on buying based on recommendations
Luv RCB have 3 of them - colors on the covers made me pass - man if those were stag covers 💥🔥
I can see how that handle choice wouldn't be for everyone. Bone would be a nice option, perhaps they will offer it down the line sometime. Thanks, Chad.
Our price increases are largely due to materials and shipping increases in the last two years. Inflation is everywhere.
It's been the worst I've seen in my lifetime over such a short span.
That is a cool knife
A nicely done Rosecraft effort. Well done in many ways. Thanks for taking a look, Sixgun.
Nice indeed , but too much swedge
Great review .👍
Well it is made by Andy, after all. Thanks, Michael.
Never! LOL Never too much swedge! 😂
That's a very attractive 🗡️.
Very much appreciated, Jane.
They are nice pretty knives they really are
Thanks, Osbaldo. I agree.

You're good at that Bruce. Thanks!
