I’m glad you’ve found what you like in being a nurse! It’s a very rewarding career, and there are so MANY different areas that one can go into. Talking to my colleagues in the emergency room, I found that some of them are truly HOPELESS working on a ward and vice versa 😂 not because they can’t do it… it’s just that some people THRIVE in a fast paced, unpredictable environment. And some THRIVE in a more slow area which requires patience and getting to know your patients. My colleagues get irritable when they get floated to the floor because their way of doing things in the emergency room aren’t what the floor nurses are doing 😂 and some of them just wanna shift people out of the door… complete different mentality in those workers (and that’s why they can work FULL-TIME in the emergency room 😳). I have massive respect for all of you guys.
Yeah bro 100%, nursing is so broad and there are so many different things you can do with it. I love the community but don't know if I want to stay in this small town where I currently am, so unsure if I should leave QLD (although it is the best-paying state) for somewhere else. Might head to a big city but who knows.
I'm really glad you had a good day today. I hope the rest of the year goes just as well for you.

@ Amen. Whatever you choose is the right choice ;-) there’s no wrong choice here
