Im pretty sure he traines crafting with hotkeys extra, besides doing speedruns, cause it is a timesave that is not rng-based. Every runner has to craft, so te faster crafter has an advantage

This is crazy. After almost a year, speedrunning wr has changed from sub 20 to sub 10 and Illumina now hold the 2nd place on the leaderboard. So impressed and proud of the community.
I also use shift for sprint and control to crouch. So many other games are like that by default so I didn't even bother getting used to something different

@@felycss Techno while not the best 1.8 (Marcel and other pot pvp sweats w/out rod and various uhc guys with rod would beat him pretty convincingly I'm sure) or 1.9 (Dream lol) has a serious case for being the best overall in both after his training. It's really hard to say who the best is definitively, though. You could make a pretty solid case for a ton of people, depending on what you value more in terms of Minecraft skill. (UHC, Manhunt, Building, Minigames, Parkour, PvP Duels, general Survival, etc.)
@@fettychow7648 I do think he's the most solid case you can make for "best player" certainly (his overall pvp is amazing, he got the duo world record with illumina in speedrunning, he's got a solid gasp on redstone with his traps, his traps have to be inconspicious so he can't be too bad at building if he tried, his movement is hella smooth in parkour, etc.), but the whole thing is really super heated and I'd rather not say with any certainty "X is the best in minecraft overall" considering how subjective things get with a game that's so broad. tbh I see more complaining about dream stans than toxic dream stans, but so many people talk about dream there's bound to be cringe.

This was such a great seed and great execution by Illumina as always. RNG was the only thing stopping this run from breaking the world record :(
