  • The Greek slave, Aesop, was the father of the Fable. Fables are uplifting stories in which talking animals play the main roles and convey one or more lesson to the reader. In the more than 2,500 years since Aesop, these tales have taken on a life their own and will probably still play a role in the education of young people two millennia from now.
With this very modern fable about the chameleon I in no way compare myself to Aesop, nor tried to copy his style of storytelling. However, there are some lessons to be learned from it.
My thanks to Christian Hoyle, the Crisis Coach, for always being positive, energetic, and never shy to help and inspire. In this little story of mine you will hear that I have learned from him not to give up, to make a plan when the going gets tough, and to seek opportunity in seemingly unbearable circumstances. Thanks Coach!

    ABOUT THIS VIDEO:
The main character is the Chameleon. He has swivelling eyes, a peculiar way of walking, and a very long tongue with a sticky tip. Phusa is a Zulu word for drinking. Apparently a fly tastes like chicken in this modern fable.
