    I also love seeing aircraft in unusual schemes. I did the Saudi Falcons a few years ago (and that's a scheme I want to do again in the future) so seeing this was really lovely! Great job too! I really wanted to be your 1k'th sub but I'll settle for 996 😂 - again well done and great job! 💟

      Thank you again. I didn't realize I was at 996. Now that you mentioned, thanks again for looking up my channel. Do you have a TH-cam channel as well?

    Great...!!! What a fine build..
    Especially the wraparound camo.
    Model building... IMHO...is only 30-40% of the build. The paint on the model is the real tough job.
    Keep it up...Happy modelling...

      Thank you. I would differ in that. I'd say model building is the main thing. Because in order to get a smooth finish you need to have a perfect surface to paint on. That prep work is 60% of the job. If you don't take care if that, the final paint finish may not be the best and could spell disaster for all the work put in.

    Great video but the horizontal tail surface has an anhedral and not a dihedral.

      Thanks for correcting. Appreciate it. Realized later on after the video was uploaded.

    Hi, what additives do you use to thin fevicryl paints to enable it work with an airbrush ? Also what do you use to clean the airbrush. Acrylics and water- IPA 3:1 doesn't work well for me. What do you suggest ?

    • @swing.wing_singh
      @swing.wing_singh  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Additives: Water. Earlier I used IPA 70% concentration but I moved away to more safer ways of thinning. Water works perfect. You can see my video on painting with Fevicryl Acrylics here th-cam.com/video/1DoWaSaDVTg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=vxDvVSm5LTzKbjDO
      Cleaning: Home made airbrush cleaner.
      If your combination of 3:1 is not working, it would be helpful if you told me what other variables are involved like compressor pressure and consistency of your paint mix. Exactly what problem are you facing?

      Hi, thanks for your tip. I normally use enamel paints. But I want to move to acrylics. My first attempt gummed up the paint and additives affected the adherence to non primed plastic. I'm going to try something else now.

      @@ksprvnksprvn4258 you need to use much lesser acrylic paint than enamel. Reduce the amount by 70-80% and then try. It's okay to start with a thinner mixture first and then add on to see how it behaves. Primer is important for adhesion
