In Ultimates 2 #100 Blue Marvel demonstrates just how powerful he is by defeating the Ultimate Hulk with one punch. That's what I call putting it in place, a punch to the strongest there is.
Wolverine was hurt multiple times from Spiderman.Spiderman punched and threw Wolverine at same time through bullet proof glass just at right of time and speed plus the impact fall caused more damage so it hurts a lot and took longer to heal from multiple abuse from one punch shove.
Why? Because he told off Captain America for being a crudy hero along with the Avengers or is because he doesn't bow to Nick Fury or Wolverine? Scott is usually always right
I have to admit the one punch is a scene I remember SOOO clearly over the years. So perfect in the writing, Blue almost unable to stop laughing .. and it was a running joke here and there in the comics over the years. Perfection..... And the whole one with Wonder Woman vs Batman. Think how that phrase and wording ties into the scenario with the Joker tricking Superman into killing Lois and his child and destroying his city. It's foreshadowing at it's best. Sometimes justice requires that blood, to ensure no more will be spilt. And while being willing to avoid killing if at all possible is noble, well ... it can often be needed.
Bats constantly trying to fight Freize. Hear me out. Bats takes off the cowl and shows his Bruce mask for Freize. Hook the good Doctor's wife to... Any number of unlimited power power sources Wayne has. No more baddie Freize and Bats gets cool actual non lethal methods...
#5: Kitty met Lockheed again in that story (the first meeting was in space during the Brood arch). At the end of that story, after taking out a Brood soldier (I think, been a long time) along with Lockheed she was allowed to joined the X-MEN on a probation status (became official later) #1: The Watcher, who usually only observe in his long life, saying that he had seen someone who disgust him, carried a lot of weight.
The Wonder Woman bit with Batman... strange thing... Batman seemed to apply this rule to himself most of the time... There was one time when Superman's about murder Lex Luthor and Batman straight up said that he will cover it up and made it look like a suicide.
I used to enjoy comics as a kid ... and as a young adult ... then other things drew my attention away ... ... after seeing this, I couldn't be happier.

The punch to Gardner was iconic. As it was the one from Jordan to Batman, truely deserved.
