Oddly enough, that bolt of lightning that hit Barry Allen’s lab and turned him into The Flash was actually Barry himself. I forget what issue it was, but Barry chased after a quark to stop some kind of nuclear reaction. He went so fast that he went back in time and lost all form, becoming pure energy and landing in his own lab. I think this was at the end of Crisis on Infinite Earths?
I look forward to part two. As always thank you so very much for the videos. (And I know there'll be (should be) a part two because I've been reading comics since the 60s, and I know this is just the tip of the iceberg.)

Cool 😎 list Adam My Man, but I do have to disagree with adding Wally to it just , because of “ Lazy Writing “ , because In actually Barry Allen’s origin of getting his powers was not unique either…in 1939 Brookwood Publications ( later purchased by Harvey Comics) created Shock Gibson ( The Human Dynamo) who also got his powers ( super strength, flight, & lightning blast) from a bolt of lightning striking & spilling chemicals from his lab upon him…also Robert Gibson is blonde like Barry , & his costume is red & yellow like the Flash…Keep Up The Great Work ✌🏾🖖🏾

You do realize that the first time Barry got his powers it was really lightning and not Barry from the future that gave his powers .
