Today's vlog reminds us of an episode in Serbian series. Over there too you waited for long to get a lift but you were successful. The generous truck driver and the elderly man helped you. ( frankly speaking came to know this concept of hitchhiking first from your videos only)
Today's vlog is a totally different experience. Firstly no definite destination- ANYWHERE😊
While travelling via Deutsche Bhan, S Bhan and bus -6:58exquisite scenary of nature.( yes nature always heals mind and heart) 9:57 a daring way through the jungles. 11:17 though 8:30pm still the existence of some natural light. The man at the counter of truckstop hotel was very helpful. Hatsoff to your patience and energy and planning(we had already seen that in your USA episodes). You have come across a totally new adventure and experience in this new country.
Wait will be always there to see further adventure via your awesome vlogs. Sunday mornings feel full seeing your travel vlogs.

Hi Varun, it will be near impossible to find a ride in Germany, or even in some parts of Scandinavia. Germans believe in a very planned lifestyle, where there is hardly any room for randomness usually. In addition, in the last 10 years, sociopolitical situations inside and outside Germany have forced the people in Germany to feel a sense of hostility when engaging with non-German looking persons. On the other hand, there must be apps where people share long-distance rides with people going in the same direction; and that could be the closest to hitchhiking that you can choose.
In the world of 30 sec video. We still love to watch 25 min videos of yours. They are still as polished as privious. ❤❤
This was majorly because of Easter weekend. Majority of the population spend time with their families and everything stay closed with no activities in public areas. I'm telling you from my experience living in EU. Also "anywhere" was not a great idea. Europeans specially germans, they are very clear and specific with their plans, procedures, steps, etc. Writing specific destination, along with route might have worked. But you're true inspiration to stay positive and optimistic.

Sir there's such pureness in your heart. I genuinely got happy with you at sunset when after a day of waiting and disappointment, only nature could make you feel so happy, i felt that with you. Germany seems a bit like lonely planet vast beautiful landscapes but nobody around. I hope you meet some amazing warm people and show us a very different vibe than this video.

My more than 2 years of living experience in Germany says, people in East Germany are more reserved towards immigrants than West Germany. You're a role model to me when it comes to hitchhiking. German Highways are famously known as the German Autobahn, these highways are famous for high speed, average speed is 125 Km/h(130 Km/h recommended by the Fedral Government of Germany) and highest speed is as the wish of the drivers, drivers can drive as much fast as they want in the de-restricted zones of the Autobahns.

I don't think it is common to hitchhike here in Germany or most of the EU. In my 5 years of living here, I have never seen a hitchhiker. Probably because trains and public transportation is quite inexpensive and well connected.
But a nice experiment though. 'A' for effort.
Varun, amazing to see you doing premiers again and so nice to see you doing videos again, me and my wife are big fans. All the best. We were in Germany last year in July and Germany is awesome. We did 4 cities and let me tell you one thing, you will find so many amazing people, this is just a beginning. I Would love to travel to Germany again.

experience teach a lot. finding positivity in any situation and being forword .nice journey varun bhai. i will say ,its not common in germany that u will get lift, i had experience last year i went for cycling on mountain of oberhof, i was waiting for 3 hours after 8pm no any vehical no bus, car,. this is geramany. i spend one night under open sky. .

Brother I have been living and working in Berlin for almost 2 years now and have travelled to almost 12 countries here in Europe. Since Germany has excellent public transport there is hardly any concept of hitchhiking infact there are not many who will understand this using German language could have been more helpful but still not much. Now Berlin ranks no 1 in the world in Public transport and I am sure you must have experience it too. Anyway I DM you in Instagram as well. Hopefully we will meet someday once to share our experiences.
In Germany I found people very cold compared to other European countries.. you can’t ask again otherwise most of them get angry too- bus drivers, small shops etc
Heard a lot about sarcasm in Munich too whereas neighbouring countries like Denmark, Poland, Netherlands are totally different with welcoming ppl

Ek Chhoti si comment autobahn pe. There are some autobahns where speed limits are there. In fact nowadays very few stretches of autobahn do not have limits. Aap ne 130 wala Jo sign dikhaya that was actually a sign that meant “speed limit of 130 ends here”. So uske baad wala stretch was actually unlimited speed zone. :) gustaakhi maaf ho tokne ke liye. Bas ye thodi si jaankaari pata tha to bata diya

It's not so easy or even prohibited to stop cars anywhere in German except designated parking areas, so hitchhiking is really a taboo.
