Cambridge Audio SX 60, Set Up, Review & Sound Test - PART ONE

I managed to get hold of a 1995 Cambridge Audio A1, Mk 1 amp recently. I wanted to get a set of speakers to go with them. I decided to stick with Cambridge Audio and get the SX-60's. In this video I'll give a brief overview of the speakers, how to fit them and some of the pitfalls you may run into, plus a sound test.

I've just got hold of some wharfdale diamond 9.1s which were very highly rated when they were first released.. I'm just in the middle of sound testing them against the sx60s. Video posting shortly.

I also have a pair of SX50 speakers, love them but my Cambridge AXA35 amp does not sound that clear with my speakers.

I also have the AXA35 amp and love it! Running it with Pioneer SP BS22 LR speakers and have no complaints, BUT the Pioneers are 6 ohm impedance so I was thinking of going to the SX 60 which is 8 ohms. Can you detail your experience a little more? Thanks.

they look and sound good, i'm still deciding after your review on the whardale 9.1 which do look absolutely stunning and sound awesome. For me it's a difficult choice now. Either these Cambridge audio or wharfdale 9.1

If you can stretch your budget a little, the wharfedale diamond 12.1 are better than both IMO.
