Unemployment is the root cause and there is no good roads and public facilities.. Government is using tax for the irrelevant areas and not using for education and better health facilities... I am a post graduate and as a fresher only 15000 will be paid in metro cities and how will i survive with it.And the disparity between government jobs and private jobs should not be ignored..

Well said. Salary is still less in kerala because corporates or other private companies still trying to earn more profit by giving less salary to their employees that is very traditional system of under developer countries. They are looking for more margin and more profits without considering the need of equal distribution of wealth in the society. But look at corporates in developed countries like USA, they are giving minimum hourly rate for all employees in every sector. There is no major difference between the salary of a clerk/barber and and IT engineer. Corporates are not trying to make huge margin from their business, instead their business is running in a healthy for the development and sustainability of all well being of the society. Unfortunately most of the business people of Kerala is thinking like, how to grab more currency from public and by reducing business running cost and compromising on quality. What other think on this point?
Could you please let know a threshold income amount where one can comfortably live in Kerala? I know it depends on many factors but would like to know an approximate number.
