ഒരു വ്യക്തി ഒരാശയം പറയുമ്പോൾ അതിനെ നേരിടാതെ ആ വ്യക്തിയെ cancel ചെയ്യാൻ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന ചാപ്പ ആണ് "അരാഷ്ട്രീയ വാദി" എന്നുള്ള മുദ്രകുത്തൽ. അതോടെ ആ വ്യക്തിക്ക് ഉത്തരം കൊടുക്കേണ്ട കാര്യം ഇല്ലാതാവുകയും സ്വയം morally superior ആണെന്ന് ചാപ്പ കൊടുക്കുന്ന ആൾക്ക് തോന്നുകയും ചെയ്യും. Its basically an ad-hominem.
Been living in Europe for 7 years almost, I am not sure if I should ever feel I'm missing the life in kerala. The fact is that , such a nostalgia shit has gone away in most minds I think.

I am living in Paris. And I can completely related with what you are telling. In Europe you are getting more opportunities. You have more personal freedom. I am paying a lot of taxes. But I have a feeling that the government is giving enough back to me. And here there is no bribe in local offices. In Kerala if you need a simple document from Panchayat, you need to give bribe. Otherwise they will put unwanted delay or excuses to not give the documents until you pay bribe. It's very difficult in such situations.

As a deeply Kerala loving Keralite living US for 20 years, I can only agree 100 percent with 90 percent of your views. I think the greatest setback for us as a society is our own false narrative that we are on top of the world and we are very skeptical towards everything happening in the developed world.
കേരളത്തിൽ അമ്മാവനിസം ബാധിച്ച കുറയെ ആളുകളുണ്ട് . ഒരിക്കൽ european ജീവിതം നൽകുന്ന സ്വാതന്ത്രയാവും ജീവിതനിലവാരവും ശീലിച്ചു പോയാൽ പിന്നെ തിരിച്ചു വരാൻ തോന്നില്ല . പിന്നെ പേരെന്റ്സും ഫാമിലിയുമായി ഭയന്കര close ആണെങ്കിൽ തിരിച്ചു വരാൻ ചാൻസ് ഒണ്ടു . പല പെൺകുട്ടികൾക്കും ഒരു ജയിൽ മോചനം തന്നെ ആണ് പുറത്തേക്കു പോകുന്നത് . ഈ അമ്മാവൻമാരുടെ brain upgrade ആയാൽ പകുതി പ്രശ്നം കഴിഞ്ഞു .

5 വർഷം കഴിഞ്ഞു തിരിച്ചു പോയി എന്തെങ്കിലും ചെറിയ ബിസിനസ് തുടങ്ങാം എന്ന് കരുതി ഇന്ത്യ വിട്ടു.
ഇപ്പോൾ 12 വർഷം ആയി..
ഇപ്പോൾ ജോലി ചെയ്യുന്ന നാട്ടിൽ വീട് മേടിച്ചു അവിടെ സെറ്റിൽ ആയി..
ഇപ്പോൾ വെക്കേഷന് മാത്രം നാട്ടിൽ പോകുന്നു.

Every individual should be able to acquire a job according to his qualification. Therefore the initiatives of the govt need to be in this line and to keep all sections of the people in mind in the development programs. At present the highly educated can have jobs in the education sector to an extent .All other highly educated have to go to other states and countries
The problem of migration can be curtailed if the state is converted in to hub of manufacturing , service and IT sector. Unless this happens the present situation will continue together with its negative effects. Merely promising lakhs of jobs, but creating some petty jobs to reach the promised number will not solve the problem.

I appreciate most of your views, such discussions should happen. But migration is not something specific to Kerala, it happens in countries world over. True that many of those migrate don't come back due to lack of opportunities or investment climate. We all together can change. There are advantages in the state as compared to other states.

Gaining knowledge and going outside to work is mostly seen as an achievement in our society, especially in Kerala. And sadly that trend is only increasing.. But actually, for that person and his family and the country it's a loss or a ഗതികേട് ഇൻ റിയാലിറ്റി. In contrast, in developed countries people gained knowledge and stayed inside their countries with their families and that's how those countries developed. I'm staying outside not because of the facilities here, but because it's getting unlivable in Kerala even if I'm ok with less development

I'm from NYC, I know that Kerala is a land of opportunities. NYC isn't seriously as developed as say Kochi or Tvm because we have communism. Most congis aren't gonna agree. I left for NYC after listening to SGK but here we don't even hav proper roads or sewage. Most people are poor and hungry. Don't leave kerala. NYC is like.Somalia
