  • Welcome ghouls, ghosts, and mere mortals! In this episode we build a weatherproof projector enclosure for 2 projectors! Projector enclosures are a great way to leave your projector out for long periods of time without the worry of them getting wet. Let's build an enclosure to protect our projectors from the elements.

Great idea on the box and mounting.
It would be interesting on how you hook up and run 2 projectors.

Hello! How many middle pieces do you have? It looks like there's only 1 am I correct? And for the door, what is the size of it? How did you address the downward tilting of the short throw projector inside the box? On the top part of the threaded rod, where is it anchored to be stable, I saw that it is not goes through the top plywood. Thank you.

Hey bro next time to save on room need to rip the two by four and a half or cut strips of plywood for cleats on your corners. Also Miracle Road would have been your friend as well and Then followed up with screws

I should have included that in the video! I use a 4x4 post spike in the ground. Then I have a 4x4 that I put in the post. On the top of the 4x4 I mount a 2x4 that is the width of the projector enclosure. Then I attach the enclosure to the 2x4. You can connect the enclosure directly to the 4x4, but I would suggest thicker plywood for the base if you do that. Here's a link to the 4x4 post spike: www.lowes.com/pd/Simpson-Strong-Tie-4-in-x-4-in-Powder-Coated-Wood-to-Wood-Base/1002708416

Looks about the size of a mini fridge

Which is already inherently waterproof and has a door😉
