Thank you so much for this update. I am truly glad that you and your family are safe. Please don't feel guilty. What I have observed from other y-tubers and the news, is how the acts of kindness that people have shown. My daughter lives in the eastern part of NC, so she has been able to help on the ground sending supplies and getting donations together. I love the neighbors helping neighbors and strangers helping strangers. When one of the trucks was unloaded, she said it was gone in ten minutes. How heartwarming. God has been so good. God bless you and your family and friends and strangers.
Thank you so much! We have had so many wonderful come up from the eastern part of the state…and many from as far north as Indiana (That’s just that I’m aware of.) People are truly in need. We took some food to a couple on Saturday, they are dear friends and the man said, where have you been Diann? I am hungry! We went back Sunday and took a cooler and more food. Broke my heart. I appreciate you and please pass along my gratitude to your daughter. We’re only strangers for a little while… friends forever. ❤️
Diann, thanks for the update and I’m glad you and your husband and pup are ok. I am feeling for you and all affected by this catastrophe. I have luckily been able to contact a church in the region that set up an Amazon account to donate to. Both my husband and I feel helpless in assisting but we hope the donations help. Sending lots of love, prayers and hope to all affected by this devastating storm ❤🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️ I love your videos and when you get back to them , you get back to them. Take care of yourselves first.
Thank you so much for every kindness. I appreciate your donating…it really does help. It’s one less thing for folks to have to worry about. The nearest grocery store to me was flooded and closed. So the donations have been an extra blessing. I hope you have a great weekend. ❤️
Thank you for the update. I’ve been wondering how you all are doing. Because of Milton being so prevalent in the news, we haven’t been hearing enough about Helene recovery. We’re in Minnesota, so have to rely on national news media. NC is in our thoughts and prayers.
We all have things we cannot do but we can do the most important thing. We can pray. Don't feel bad because you cannot do the physical things. Being in prayer is most important.
Thank you Terri. You are absolutely right. We often say…all i can do is pray… but, it’s the most important thing for us to do. Have a great weekend. ❤️
In 2004, Florida experience four hurricanes in six weeks. We evacuated one time and twice lost power for a week. When our sewing group finally got back together, no one sewed. We spent the entire evening talking about our experiences and just enjoyed seeing each other. For some, it was an opportunity to sit in air conditioning for a few hours. The meeting was cathartic and must needed by all of us. Don’t apologize for talking about the devastation. Do it, again, if you need to.
Thank you so much! I think that’s such an important comment. We all need somebody to share these things with. Things get heavy at times… sharing with others lightens the load. Thank you again! Have a great weekend ♥️
I appreciate you going back to sewing videos. One sewing channel I used to view jumped on the BLM band wagon after George Floyd died, and she did personal confession talks on youtube about BLM- Black Lives Matter - she's a woman with some 'white woman oppressor guilt' and ready to take a knee for that cause by doing public penance. I just could not watch her after that. I am 61 and seem to work all the time. Are you in a guild or anything that might would be interested? I would like to donate to those whose stash got washed away. but it will take me a few months to get it in order and then I could deliver it. What is your opinion? Is this a need?

I’m glad you are ok. Praying for everyone affected by Helene and now Milton.
Thank you so much! Yes, so many people are affected by both. I hope you have a great weekend! ♥️
Thank you so much! It’s been a very busy few weeks weather wise. I hope it slows down. Thank you so much for your prayers and kindness! ♥️
Glad you are safe. Always good to hear from you.
Thank you so much. I’m glad things are improving too. I hope you have a great weekend. ❤️
It is such a difficult time and so important to be aware of our emotions. Thank you for giving this feedback.
Thank you so much Katinka. A very smart friend told me the same thing. Hope you have a great weekend. ❤️
@Silver_Threads_Sewing thank you, you too 😘

sending prayers
Thank you for every prayer. I hope you have a great weekend.
What a hard way to experience the consequences of climate change. I do hopethere will be more awareness to this huge problem in the future.
Thank you for watching. Things are changing. ♥️

Hey, in the next few months I am going to clear out my stash. I really dont have time to sell it, I would actually like to donate. I am an overachiever and thought I could do everything. I am 61 and seem to work all the time. Are you in a guild or anything that might would be interested? I would like to donate to those whose stash got washed away. but it will take me a few months to get it in order and then I could deliver it. What is your opinion? Is this a need?
That is so kind of you. There is a quilt guild that I used to be a part of. I know they would be happy to receive it. Let me ask around and see if there is someone who may have lost fabric. I have two in mind. Thank you for your kindness and generosity ♥️
