You are not the only one disappointed in the Sparrows Revolver. I went down the same path and returned the item. The concept is great and has so much potential. I've heard that originally, there was no chamferring.
Nice entry brother lock dude 👌 and beautiful shoutout 💯😎Nola is Def a great go to for lefties looking to learn 😊as well as anyone tbh he's an all around talanted lock picker for sure and a great guy to be able to know and chat with 🎉All the best in the draw 👍 Take care 🙂
I just swapped the core out and problem solved 😊 Don’t get me wrong, it absolutely sucks that we have to do that and I have no idea why Sparrows thought boring it out was a good idea in the first place, but it is an easy fix that leaves you with a good little 4 in 1 training lock 😊
@@TheLockDudeAbides I just used a good core out of one of their progressive / cutaway locks simply because that is what I had on hand at the time 😊 Although I imagine you could probably use any core that has the same style of screw on retention piece (I.e I would imagine a genuine 6 pin Schlage core would work too) 😊
Nice entry and great shout out Dude!!
I’ve only heard of them. Nice Video
It's a shame they decided to "fix" something that wasn't broken. Good entry mate and shout out. Best of luck in the draw buddy 🍀👍🤜🤛😊
@@Nicks-Picks I appreciate it, Dude.
Yeah I've heard it's not a good product at all. Good luck on the giveaway Dude!
I too have some chamfered Sparrows 💩
We're up to 18 on the list!
Which list? The giveaway?
@TheLockDudeAbides no, lefties. I added one over the weekend
Thank my Dude for the heads on that particular sparrows cylinder, you just saved me some $ in the future.
- best wishes
You're welcome, man. It's still fun, just not what I wanted it for.
Great video Dude, Best of Luck in the Drawing!
If that is your worst lock picking purchase, you have not bought enough lock picking stuff🤣
I mean, you're not wrong...
@@TheLockDudeAbides 🤣
Wait when did they change the cylinder? I bought mine back in 2018 and always recommend... I had no idea they changed it

@@Loose-Shirt6551 I learned of the chamfering after I had gotten it.
