All music is played 'by ear' as I was very lucky to have been born with the talent to hear a piece of music and then be able to sing / play it back any time after hearing it and without needing the sheet music.

Hi Tim. Many thanks for the very kind comments! It is a great show isn't it? I loved the original and I love this new version too. I really think they've done a great job at keeping a lot of what made the old one great but 'modernising' the show to keep up with the ages as it were.

Thanks for this. I love bars 13 and 14 especially. I love the unhurried pace and piano-only interpretation. To me, the original theme had too much unnecessary noise, I thought the drums particularly spoiled things. This is cover is most gentle, and sympathetic to the imageries of the ACGAS landscape. Hi Maggie. This is the theme tune to the new remake (2020 and onwards) of the show. I'm not sure what you mean by share it though?

The piano I have is the Yamaha CP-1 stage piano though if memory serves me correctly I was possibly using the Noire piano sound for this piece and not the internal sounds. Hope that helps a little. Best wishes, Mark.

Is this the All Creatures Great and Small theme?
I remember it being more upbeat and faster. Maybe that was another programme.
It's the theme for the new series of All Creatures Great & Small which started in 2020. Yes you're right though as the original series was a much faster upbeat piece. The new series is really good though and I'd recommend it if you enjoyed watching the original series.

I believe we should hopefully be getting seasons 5 & 6 at some point in the future too which I can't wait to see.
I used to love watching the original series and even recorded Christopher Timothy some years ago for a voice recording for a TV advert he was making for Furniture Village. There's a funny story to go along with that. Sufficed to say he is one of the nicest famous person I have ever met. A real gentleman.

Hi Martyn. I don't have any I'm afraid as I play by ear however I did get in touch with the actual composer of the piece as wanted to make sure I had done it justice before it went live and she said that exactly the same day that I contacted her that she had released it on social media so I believe that if you find her Twitter page then it should be on there somewhere as she said she had uploaded it to there. Hope that helps a bit. It won't be exactly as I've played as I played by ear and added in a little snippet of the original piece to mine too just as a shoutback to it but you will get the main new theme though. Let me know if you can't find it online and I'll take a look or ask her for more information for you. Hope you have a great weekend. Stay safe.
