I have being listening to your teachings since I ran into one of your videos this week here on TH-cam Mike Gendron. I have a strong Catholic background as well and one of my brothers was a priest but he is late now. I am really learning so much and I just want to share what I am learning with my Catholic family and friends who are still under the deception of Catholicism. I tried to talk to my mother today about Jesus Christ being our only mediator and that we don't need to go through Mary. She had her arguments against that....I pray that she gets to know that she's under deception some day and that's my prayer for my other family members and friends. Thank you for dedicating yourself to teaching us the true gospel of Jesus Christ.

At the 17:08 The picture of the Pope standing with his head bowed and behind him is an Upside Down Cross! I once thought he was a godly pope. I was appauled, nauseated, and shocked! I'm sure I heard the names of Mike Gendron and Dave Hunt during the 80's but I was probably so distracted and indoctrinated by the catholic religion their voices fell on deaf ears. I was incapable of hearing the truth until I was at my 'end of myself'. I listen to these voices now and give thanks to Jesus for Saving Me from my sins. Curse the catholic religion. Thanks for writing. The Bible did not fall out of the sky in one complete package of 66 books plus the table of contents. The Bible is NOT the "pillar and bulwark of truth," 1 Timothy 3 14-16. 382 A.D. - Pope Damasus issued a papal decree that contained the names of the books that would make up the canon of the Bible and the number of books was 73. The Christian Bible was generally agreed to have have 73 books from 382 A.D. until the 1500's !!! Ask yourself : What earthly authority decided which books would make up the canon of the Bible and in what order would these books be arranged? The Catholic Church was the earthly authority.

Jesus is explaining his power over every demon power and in the middle of his explanation, here’s this woman who raises up her voice and starts exalting his mother, Mary. This distraction of Satan is possibly the first instance of mother worship and the Lord Jesus dealt with it immediately. Jesus took them right back to the word of God and never exalted his mother at all. This battle for souls is spiritual warfare, this Roman Catholic System, the deification of men, addressing the pope as Holy Father. Luke 8:19-21 19 Then his mother and his brothers came to him, but they could not reach him because of the crowd. 20 And he was told, “Your mother and your brothers are standing outside, desiring to see you.” 21 But he answered them, “My mother and my brothers are those who hear the word of God and do it.” Matthew 12:46-50 46 While he was still speaking to the people, behold, his mother and his brothers stood outside, asking to speak to him. 48 But he replied to the man who told him, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?” 49 And stretching out his hand toward his disciples, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers! 50 For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.” Once again, the Lord brings the people back to Scripture. There is no exaltation of his mother or special acknowledgement of his brothers and sisters. His spiritual family is his family and it couldn’t be clearer than those two verses that refutes any Mary, mother of God, claims by the Roman Catholic System.

Are there people leaving the Roman Catholic church? Absolutely. Are there people leaving Protestant churches? Absolutely. Why? Because Christ told us that would happen. Matthew 7:13 “Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are MANY who enter through it. For the gate is narrow and the way is constricted that leads to life, and there are FEW who find it. Jesus says M A N Y will choose the wide road that leads to destruction and FEW will find the road that leads to eternal life. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only SON, that whoever BELIEVES in HIM should NOT PERISH but HAVE ETERNAL LIFE." [ John 3:16 ] Nothing there about Mary, baptism, pope, priests, sacraments, penance, purgatory, indulgences, beads, crucifixes, holy water, transubstantiation, candles, incense, statues, vicar of Christ, altars, sacrfices, etc. Anything we add to that simple truth of the Gospel is heresy. Justification is a gift from God and if we have to work for it, it's not a gift and Jesus died for nothing.

As food for thought, if the Wycliffe or Tyndale Bibles were so good, why do Protestants today not use them as they do the King James Bible? Here' the history...After the 14th century when English finally became the popular language of England, vernacular Bibles were used as vehicles for heretical propaganda. John Wycliffe, a dissentient priest, translated the Bible into English. Unfortunately his secretary, John Purvey, included a heretical prologue.. Later William Tyndale translated the Bible into English complete with prologue and footnotes condemning Church doctrines and teachings. Even King Henry VIII in 1531 condemned the Tyndale Bible as a corruption of Scripture. In the words of King Henry's advisers: "the translation of the Scripture corrupted by William Tyndale should be utterly expelled, rejected, and put away out of the hands of the people, and not be suffered to go abroad among his subjects."

Catholicism is what the Roman Catholic system teaches and Christianity is what Christ's church teaches. They are not the same thing. Catholicism does not exist in the Bible. A Protestant was a Roman Catholic who realized that the church had bastardized the Bible and they protested it. If they protested the Bible being changed, then that means that what the Roman Church was using for a Bible was different than what the Apostles handed down. Now that we tens of thousands of New Testament manuscripts, over 5000 in Greek, we know that the Reformation was needed. Luther saw in Romans that we are justified by faith and that we don't need to work our way to heaven. Jesus did that for us. The little "c" catholic church was founded by Jesus. danny daniels Danny. The passage in Acts chapter 2 you quote states what will happen when God pours out His spirit on all flesh. Then further in the chapter he tells us how we receive the Spirit in v.38, " Do penance, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ, for the remission of your sins: and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." So it's not just a verbal affirmation of belief required to receive the Spirit. Your argument about canon 30 and canon 24 has many flaws. One being the definition of anathema. True it can mean accursed, but it also means cut off. To be anathematized by the church means to be cut off from the church, not damned. The church can damn no man, only God. You also have to define faith. The presented meaning of faith by the "reformers" was simple belief or verbal affirmation of Christ. If this is your definition than you would be wrong, because James explicitly states that faith without works are dead and that we are not justified by faith alone (James 2:-14-26). Side note: The only time faith alone is mentioned in Scripture is by James when he states the previously mentioned verse. You also incorrectly represent the Catholic position of meriting salvation through works only. The Catholic position is that we are saved by grace through faith. That this grace is received by faithfully participating in the sacraments instituted by Christ. There is no catholic teaching that states a works only salvation. Peter made the same decree in Acts at the council of Jerusalem. To apply a generic understanding of law against any command or instruction would be absurd. Where is the inspired interpretation? I agree that Scripture is an authority, but to say only authority you have to negate the power/authority of the Holy Spirit to work through men to teach truth. You also have to reconcile Scripture to your claim when Jesus gave charge to John over His mother. This wouldn't have happened if Jesus had any living brothers. Your entire argument also rests on an unqualified presupposition that I am not willing to concede unless you can substantiate it infallibly, that you interpretation of Scripture is the correct interpretation. This is because of the nature of the relationship Christ wants us to have with Him, a covenant. Much like that of a marriage. One cannot simply say or believe they are married to be truly married, they have to behave as a married couple would. As a married couple there are roles to be maintained and obligations to be fulfilled. Christ forgives and we serve Him (follow His commands). Without one of the elements the relationship fails. He removed the deuterocanonical books from the old testament and 4 books from the new testament. It wasn't until after he died that the 4 new testament books were restored as canon. Can you guess what the books are? Hebrews James, Revelation and the 2nd letter of John. They were removed because they disproved his theology plainly. The same reason the deuterocanonical books have not been restored to protestant canon, they support catholic doctrine. I'm not Catholic, but I can see why Catholics would be offended by this man. He shouldn't teach the word by making fun of anyone, which he clearly does in this video. Catholics, Protestants and Evangelicals have a problem with sin in the churches. Ministers should be teaching how to "mortify THROUGH THE SPIRIT the deeds of the body", to have a "godly sorrow" toward God for "repentance unto life" and to confess our own sins. I have being listening to your teachings since I ran into one of your videos this week here on TH-cam Mike Gendron. I have a strong Catholic background as well and one of my brothers was a priest but he is late now. I am really learning so much and I just want to share what I am learning with my Catholic family and friends who are still under the deception of Catholicism. I tried to talk to my mother today about Jesus Christ being our only mediator and that we don't need to go through Mary. She had her arguments against that....I pray that she gets to know that she's under deception some day and that's my prayer for my other family members and friends. Thank you for dedicating yourself to teaching us the true gospel of Jesus Christ.

The Christian Bible was generally agreed to have have 73 books from 382 A.D. until the 1500's !!! In Luke 11, Satan had just used the Jewish unbelievers to insist that Christ was working under the dominion of Beelzebub, the chief of devils and now a woman raised up her voice just as Jesus was explaining the truth about his power over demons. Jesus is explaining his power over every demon power and in the middle of his explanation, here’s this woman who raises up her voice and starts exalting his mother, Mary. This distraction of Satan is possibly the first instance of mother worship and the Lord Jesus dealt with it immediately. Jesus took them right back to the word of God and never exalted his mother at all.
This battle for souls is spiritual warfare, this Roman Catholic System, the deification of men, addressing the pope as Holy Father.

I live in south Texas about 90 minutes from the border so there are a lot of Roman Catholics down here but we are opening their eyes to the true Gospel of Jesus Christ. Are there people leaving the Roman Catholic church? Absolutely. Are there people leaving Protestant churches? Absolutely. Why? Because Christ told us that would happen.

There are a lot of ways to know but it's too detailed to go into. Research Michael Heiser, Michael Kruger or Daniel B. Wallace. They are New Testament scholars and historians. The short story is that the early Christians knew which books were inspired because four criteria were broadly used to determine whether the various writings were inspired by the Spirit of YAHWEH and should be included in the sacred canon:
1. The author was either an apostle, closely connected with an apostle or first-hand witness to the events described.
2. The book was widely accepted by the body of early believers as being true.
3. The doctrines taught were consistent with that taught in other inspired works.
4. The writing bore evidence of moral superiority and spiritual values as demonstrated by the work of the Holy Spirit upon the heart in response to what was taught in the book.

I'll answer the last question first. Catholicism is what the Roman Catholic system teaches and Christianity is what Christ's church teaches. They are not the same thing. Catholicism does not exist in the Bible.
A Protestant was a Roman Catholic who realized that the church had bastardized the Bible and they protested it. If they protested the Bible being changed, then that means that what the Roman Church was using for a Bible was different than what the Apostles handed down. Now that we tens of thousands of New Testament manuscripts, over 5000 in Greek, we know that the Reformation was needed. Luther saw in Romans that we are justified by faith and that we don't need to work our way to heaven. Jesus did that for us.

danny daniels Danny. The passage in Acts chapter 2 you quote states what will happen when God pours out His spirit on all flesh. Then further in the chapter he tells us how we receive the Spirit in v.38, " Do penance, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ, for the remission of your sins: and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." So it's not just a verbal affirmation of belief required to receive the Spirit.
Your argument about canon 30 and canon 24 has many flaws. One being the definition of anathema. True it can mean accursed, but it also means cut off. To be anathematized by the church means to be cut off from the church, not damned. The church can damn no man, only God. You also have to define faith. The presented meaning of faith by the "reformers" was simple belief or verbal affirmation of Christ. If this is your definition than you would be wrong, because James explicitly states that faith without works are dead and that we are not justified by faith alone (James 2:-14-26). Side note: The only time faith alone is mentioned in Scripture is by James when he states the previously mentioned verse. You also incorrectly represent the Catholic position of meriting salvation through works only. The Catholic position is that we are saved by grace through faith. That this grace is received by faithfully participating in the sacraments instituted by Christ. There is no catholic teaching that states a works only salvation.

The Scripture states that even a righteous man falls seven times a day. Do we not then have to work in opposition to that sin and amend our relationship with God? Or do you ascribe to once saved always saved?
In Paul's writings he references the law, do you think that is all laws? The ten commandments, the commandments Christ taught, the levitical laws...? Paul was referring to the Jewish laws of circumcision and dietary restriction. This is a common theme throughout his writings. The gentiles being converted were being told by converted Jews that they had to observe the Law of Abraham and Moses in order to be really saved. Paul was telling them that is not the case. Peter made the same decree in Acts at the council of Jerusalem. To apply a generic understanding of law against any command or instruction would be absurd.

Catholicism doesn't deny sins, on the contrary it encourages us to recognize sin and seek forgiveness. We do not have absolute assurance of heaven. Even Christ in Scripture tells us in Matthew 7:21 that not everyone who says Lord, Lord will enter the kingdom of heaven. Also, Paul speaks of purgatory in 1 Corinthians Chapter 3.

This is because of the nature of the relationship Christ wants us to have with Him, a covenant. Much like that of a marriage. One cannot simply say or believe they are married to be truly married, they have to behave as a married couple would. As a married couple there are roles to be maintained and obligations to be fulfilled. Christ forgives and we serve Him (follow His commands). Without one of the elements the relationship fails. Salvation is a free gift. So is marriage, does that negate my obligation to continue to develop a relationship with Jesus or just assume since I said I believed once I will be taken care of? Again not everyone who says Lord Lord will enter the kingdom of heaven but rather those who hear His words and do them will be saved. (Matt. 7:24-29) Can you lose your salvation?
You see Danny, I was protestant and I found through hermeneutics and honest study of Scripture, History and Doctrine that the five solas or TULIP that founded the protestant churches cannot stand. While they do hit the mark some of the time they do not hit it all of the time like the catholic church. You stated above that catholics forsake the whole word of God. On the contrary, we do take the entire word of God into account before making doctrine. The same cannot be said by many protestant reformers (i.e. Martin Luther). He removed the deuterocanonical books from the old testament and 4 books from the new testament. It wasn't until after he died that the 4 new testament books were restored as canon. Can you guess what the books are? Hebrews James, Revelation and the 2nd letter of John. They were removed because they disproved his theology plainly. The same reason the deuterocanonical books have not been restored to protestant canon, they support catholic doctrine.

fritula 6...…..mother Teresa did not live the gospel, because she did not try to convert her patients to Christianity...she left them in their ignorance.....Jesus said to go and make disciples of all men etc.....she was a victim of the RCC's cult of suffering to get to heaven, which is wrong and against the true gospel......she was given millions to help the sick but they were left on little camp beds....they should have had hospital beds and good medical care which she had when she was sick.....but of course because she was so mentally attached to the Vatican, all the money went to Vatican bank.....why are we surprised ?

Everything you put forward as truth can and has been refuted by the catholic church and all the church fathers who actually knew the apostles and in some cases were ordained by them . Read Ignatius of Antioch contemporary of polycarp deciple of John the apostle. He talks of the eucharist and the Athority of the bishops and that you are to follow your bishop,as wear the bishop , or HIS designate is, there is the true church! You believe almost Nothing that the church before luther ,Calvin and their ilk EVER believed!
Christ listened to Peter first or more because he chose him as his trusted representative( vicar) on earth to his Catholic apostolic church. He chose Peter over his other apostles.
Actually Christ first apostle to the gentiles was Paul most of the new testaments books were written by him for us gentiles, Peter's commission was to lost sheep of Israel when they (Peter and the disciples) fail their comission, Christ commissioned Paul as the apostol to the gentiles, Peter recognized at the end of his life that that Paul's wisdom was something God gave to him and he also found it hard to understand and knew that many would twist the scripture for their own destruction. 2Peter 3:15-16, just as the catholic church disregards Paul's teachings for their own destruction.
